Troy's Movers helped us move from a downtown Lowell apartment into a home the next town over. I was worried about the complexity of moving out of our big apartment building, but Troy's team made it look easy. They treated out furniture and belongings with care and finished ahead of schedule, coming in under estimate. I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for movers. A great company to work with!

I needed to help my daughter and her husband move. I decided to hire Troy movers on the advice of a family member. When planning the move, they were very responsive and explained everything I needed to know, including some tips on how to save money on the moving costs, such as moving my own TV, Computer, and other breakables. They showed up on time and had a good system to expedite the move. It went very smoothly and was completed in less time than estimated, which reduced my overall cost. I will be recommending this very reliable moving company to all my friends and family.

Troy and his team helped me move all my belongings from MA to NH and did a fantastic job! The team was polite hardworking and and made the move go very smoothly. Price was also reasonable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I used Troy’s this past week to move a lot of furniture from my mom’s house to mine. She has a lot of very big, very heavy furniture, and my house is a warren of small doorways and tight corners. They made it look easy, and took great care of both my new furniture and my antique woodwork. The guys were professional and knew what they were doing. Troy's a great guy and so aren't his workers. I remember around 2007 I used him and a guy named Cory and another guy named Jose were so nice. They packed and moved everything promptly and safely. I would recommend Troy's Moving And Storage.

We used Troy moving company for moving our single family home to a new house, Troy came on site and checked everything that we needed to moved and gave us an estimate upfront, the guys were very professional and came on time on the day of move. They made sure everything was moved with proper care and did not damage anything. And actually I ended up paying $150 less then estimated.

Will surely recommend and use the business in future.

I wasn't sure where to turn for a moving company and picked Troy's based on online reviews. It turned out to be a good move. Troy himself...well he is a pretty loud character that at first I thought was pushing me in a direction that I didn't expect regarding timing of the movers vs. closing on two houses. Turns out he pushes based on experience and I was glad I listened. Everything worked out perfectly.
Troy even came in $300 under quoted price. That said, I didn't save quite that much since his moving crew were really good guys; hardworking, careful, polite, most importantly fast! They were not milking the clock. I could not have asked for more and tipped them $180 over the 2 days of moving. Money well spent. Thanks Troy your company is great!

I used Troy's Moving on my move from Lowell to New Jersey between Jan 7, 2020 and Jan 9, 2020, They loaded on one day and delivered two days later right on schedule. Troy himself comes out to examine all that will be part of the move, and gives a quote just a bit on the high side (which is great, as his high end quote is drastically lower then 3 or 4 other companies I called and that was after applying their "ahem discount coupons").

On the day of the move, there were 3 guys in a 28 foot moving truck (5 feet longer than most all other companies), these guys were all very cordial, polite and hard workers who knew how to do the job correctly. They were efficient and actually ended an hour earlier than originally quoted. (ch-ching, $$ back).

We signed papers in New Jersey the next day and expected them the following day at 8:30am, they arrived around 7am and were done, and gone by 9:00am. Everything we wanted to be setup, was done, we are actually shipping some of the items to our 3 children all over the country and they were fantastic about ensuring that each of them had their items stacked which had their names on them in separate areas of the new garage.

Even after tipping them each of the 6 guys (3 each way) quite generously, my overall cost was much lower than any other company I had contacted. I highly recommend them for both short haul and in my case, long haul.

Do yourself a favor, before deciding on any other moving company, call Troy's, I certainly benefited from doing so!

Cons: Troy only accepts a Certified Check made out for the amount of his original quote for the job. With everything there is to do in a move, tracking yet one more item (in this case a refund) is simply one more task I wish I hadn't had to do. I did receive the Refund Check within 3 weeks of the move, and within 3 days of settling up on the phone.

Troy's professional and friendly crew arrived right on schedule for a hefty move from Massachusetts to New Hampshire. They guys got everything onto the moving truck in one hour. They completed the entire job in good time and the price was reasonable. I would recommend Troy's Moving & Storage to anyone in Lowell and surrounding areas.

Troy and his movers were the top company I have ever worked with. Troy’s guys came in multiple times to assist us with an office renovation. All of the guys were absolutely respectful and hard working. They never stopped during their moving sessions and maximized every minute. They worked very carefully to assure none of the furniture or facilities were damaged. They were also very accommodating in handling large and heavy equipment. I would recommend them any day of the week. Finally, Troy was very upfront and honest about his quote, which was very reasonable to begin with. He didn’t try to over promise and ended up coming in under budget.

This is the second time I used this moving service! Troy comes to your house, looks at what you need moved, and gives you an estimate right then in writing. Also gives some suggestions on keeping the moving costs down! Upfront with all anticipated costs. They arrived on time, and began working right away. Crew was very nice and helpful.

I would definitely recommend Troy's Moving. I was reluctant about trusting a moving company. My family had a terrible move when I was a small child and I had moved myself since then. My home inspector recommended them and I decided to give them a call. Troy was professional and their quote was reasonable. The moving crew arrived on time, moved everything in a timely manner and everything was moved without any damage. I would definitely use Troy's in the future and would recommend them without hesitation.

I didn't actually use this company - I changed my mind (nothing to do with them). But all of my interactions with Troy were wonderful! He was incredibly professional and helpful even after he knew that I wasn't giving him my business. You can tell he is passionate about what he does. Troy was extremely helpful with the process of planning the move and explaining what to expect. All of the costs are spelled out and there were no surprises. The crew arrived promptly on moving day and they were super efficient. They were also very respectful of me and my belongings. Despite snow and a huge flight of stairs, the guys were upbeat and kept things on track. They finished in less time than the estimate and that saved me time and money.

We were moving over 90 miles away and Troy explained the process and options we would have. The actual cost of the move was within $100 of his quote. The workers were engaging and professional. They took great care with our furniture. We would recommend Troy movers to our friends and family.

Used this company a little over a month ago for a local move. Out of three companies I had give us quotes they were the most professional, timely, and fair priced. They were also upfront to quote on the high end and encouraged they would not take their time as they charge on an hourly basis.
Well they didn't disappoint. The 4-man crew was right on time. All were very professional and polite. They asked questions about specifics to what I wanted moved and where I wanted things placed. They were strategic in how they loaded their truck to not damage any of my things, and they took proper precautions with blankets and foam wrap on fragile items. The crew was fast but not rushing and I felt they went above and beyond. The owner personally stayed it touch right up to the move day and checked in with me on satisfaction 3 days later.
This is the way to run a small business! (And yes Troy encouraged verifying BBB ratings to me as well, but honestly good for them. I don't use that site often myself, but when you're a small business owner these are the things you rely on to keep it not just running but growing!)

I've used Troy's Movers twice in the last couple of years and both times setting up the move was done easily and efficiently and both times the crews were excellent. They were careful with my stuff and responsive to my requests. I've had quite a few bad experiences with movers, so this has been a welcome change. Recommend highly.

Where do I begin! Hire them!
My husband and I moved from a 2,000 sq ft home from Reno, NV to a 1,150 sq ft apartment in Lowell, MA. (The market is too wild right now). We did this move in the cold of January. I needed movers to help load our items into our apartment then the following week load the rest of the items that were inside two pods into a storage unit in NH. I googled movers and once I spoke to Troy, I knew he was my guy. I love his personality, he is direct, extremely knowledgeable and was on it from the start! I mean on it! He would call me multiple times though out the entire process to make sure everything was in line and ready to go. His crew lead by Jose was OUTSTANDING! They were beyond helpful, very careful with my items (no scratches or broken items) and they were fast! Faster that I would think it would take! When they met us at the storage unit in NH, I had two 8x16 pods to unload, I bought two storage units. One was a 10x10 and another was a 10x15, I could not believe it but Jose placed everything strategically so all of our items fit into one 10x15 unit! Which saved us sooo much money! It was outstanding! Lewis, another mover working for Troys, was the jolliest man to be around. He would unpack our items from the pods and as he did he would sing and was so attentive with us and such a joy to be around. Moving across country is highly stressful especially with a two year old and this company took all that stress away! Absolutely! I’m so thankful I know them now and in 15 months when we buy a house, they are the ONlY company I will use for that move. I highly recommend them, hand down, they killed it! Thank you Troys!
