Shelf Life is amazing. I'm not sure where else you can find the breadth of variety in used books for such low costs.

The only reason I didn't pick anything up today was because I didn't have cash on me, and there is a $10 minimum purchase for credit and a $5 minimum cost for venmo.

Will definitely be back.

What an amazing gem! I own a business right down the street and have found myself to be a regular! Shelf Life is stocked with a great selection of used books. The selection is constantly being refreshed so you’re likely to find yourself visiting often. If you are looking to discover something new, there is a table highlighting the works of local authors. The aesthetic is warm and inviting. The owner is knowledgeable and kind. Best of all, when you shop here, you’re also supporting a small business whose goal is to make books accessible to everyone. Highly recommended!

Shelf Life book store in downtown Cuyahoga Falls features a dry and witty tagline: "There are books here." For book lovers, that's all you need to know. However there are more than just books at Shelf Life. There is a principled mission to make books easily accessible to all those who want to read. This is why the cost for most of the books is just one dollar. It's a great deal for me as a book lover. But it is also a reassurance to me – and anybody who is concerned about literacy – that this organization is committed to keeping the written word alive and affordable. The shop is so well adorned and designed that one can spend plenty of time checking out all of the found objects -- old items discovered in vintage books, literary art, framed manifestos celebrating knowledge and the right to be informed, to name just a few. It's an exhibit! The owner also shares her passion for community, cross promoting other local businesses, participating in events, and hosting events that range from typewriter poetry days, banned book displays and more. Getting to the bookstore is a treat: Entering a welcoming downtown building, following a long hallway, descending steps. The anticipation builds as you follow to the end of the rainbow to a well-curated space of books and decor. There is no way you should leave without buying at least one. More likely, you will probably enjoy the rare experience of not having to decide which book to buy, because at these affordable prices, you can pretty much get all the books you want.

Shelf Life is a perfect little jewel on Front Street in the Falls. You go down the stairs and walk into a lovely shop with soothing orchestral music playing. Books are no more than $1 unless they're by local authors. I love that the store supports indie authors (like me!) Books that don't get sold go out on Free Book Day or are donated to hospices and nursing homes. The store's mission is to get books into people's hands, which I love. And I'm glad old books are getting new lives there.

There’s no words to describe how much I love this small business. the owner is friendly and helpful and is always willing to give to others. She strives to make differences in our community. I love supporting small businesses and when I heard that a book store was coming to DTCF, I was so excited. I cannot wait to see what she does over the years and I recommend everyone to stop in and check it out!

Great book store where you can find your next favorite! (Or maybe walk away with something you didn't even know you needed!) The prices are definitely more than fair and the owner is awesome. We need more places like this in the world!
