Shane is awesome. Went in to get a new bow which became a complete personal fitting, as well as gave me tips on with form. You can tell as soon as you start talking to him that he is the real deal. He knows bows and bow hunting as well as anyone you’ll meet. The customer service is absolutely top notch. I had a string snap, and didn’t have another one in-stock. Instead of telling me that he would order me one. He asked me what colors and made me a custom one on the spot. He isn’t one to push or try to upsell, I gave him a budget and he built me a great bow. Only person around that I would let tune my bow. 10/10.

After going to 3+ shops in the area i found the expert and that is Shane at the Bowhunters Den... Shane is a professional in every meaning of the word!! Shane has never let me down and is always honest when it comes to what is best for you as a bow shooter / hunter and he is honest when it comes to timelines which is very important today when timelines can be all over the place. Shane tunes my bow for me every year and Even when I was down in North Carolina for School i would still bring my Bow to Shane even though there was a local shop in my town. I will go to nobody but Shane because he is the best in the business!

Visited Shane on 10/20/2021 for a bow lesson. This guy is great and has more years of bow hunting than I have living. Great experience when I started groups were 10-12 inches at 12-15 yards. After implementing his strategies (1 hour) we were able to get the group to within 4-5 inches at 20-23 yards. I'm not sure if there are more advanced lessons but I'd definitely recommend Bowhunters Den Outdoors to anyone attempting to improve.

Open for business! Shane now runs the pro shop out of his home and by appointment only, which allows for a lot more one on one attention. I got my bow adjusted and had a private lesson with him today, and both were fantastic experiences. He's extremely knowledgeable and certainly not pushy towards the latest and greatest products. The lesson was very worthwhile and allowed me to pinpoint weaknesses with my form I would've never found without his instruction. My precision and accuracy improved just in the course of one hour. The lessons are at Genessee Valley fyi.

Just bought my first bow from Shane at the Bowhunters Den and I could not be more pleased with the experience. I walked in on a Friday afternoon and Shane spent the next 3 hours with me going through a few different bows. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of each. We shot in-store to make all of the necessary adjustments and sight it in. Then, he helped my girlfriend adjust, sight in, and address some form issues with her bow. At the end I went with the Mission Ballistic 2.0 that Shane suggested from the beginning. Thanks to Shane at the Bowhunters Den I now have an awesome bow that I know will shoot great, and both my girlfriend and I have the skills to become better archers. I recommend that anyone looking for a bow, bow parts, or even some pointers, head over to the Bowhunters Den. You won’t be disappointed.

I don’t have much experience with archery or bow hunting but wanted to learn. Was gonna just get stuff on Amazon but I saw there was a bow hunting store close by so I stopped in and I’m really glad I did. Shane helped me out with a Mission Hype DTX compound bow setup (not even available on Amazon) and took the time on a busy Saturday to show me how everything works and tune the bow for me.
High quality products and the pricing was very fair.
The store really is an experience in and of itself too just browsing around.

Shane toook the time with me to select, test fire and discuss bows. There were other customers waiting, but that did not eliminate the amazing customer service. Ended up with a Mission Ballistic set up just for me that fits perfect. He even said to come back in a week or two and they would spend some more time working to make sure everything was settling in on the bow and address any other questions. Excellent staff. The shop has some cool stuff. It looks a little dissorganized, but they know what they are doing and will be there when you need help.

I took my old Bear Black Panther in to get re-strung the guy did a beautiful job w/ the peep sight and the nock was perfect as well. The store is nice. He has a lot of products that you can't find at the big box sporting goods store. Not to mention the service's, they were the only place to get the string I needed for my old bow. Also, when I was being checked out the guy asked "anything else" and I looked down at my two year old daughter drooling at the M&M machine and I said "yeah, I guess a quarter for the candy" and he just handed me a quarter out of the register. He didn't take it out of my change either. Nice A+

Went in to get some arrows last fall. He was busy, but made every effort to cut them and put in the inserts in what seemed like only about 20 min or so. Great service. Definitely my go to spot for archery needs.

Just got my first compound bow set up and it was a great experience. From the advice and the great prices, it couldn’t have gone any better.

The price is high, but the guy knows his stuff. I had a great experience with the owner today and I highly recommend going here for your archery needs.

When I needed a compound bow string they were the only one around who had it. Places like Dicks and Wal-Mart don't carry any.

Great little shop with a very informative owner. Owner takes his time to teach, which makes this a great place to go with beginners and kids.

I have not had any work done to my bow here but I get all of my odds and ends at the shop instead of going to the big box stores. Shane has always been pleasant to deal with and they always have exactly what I need.
