Island Lake Shooting Range

Rookie firearm owner. Took my new hunting shotgun to test fire for the first time and to sight in my cheap 3-9x40 scope at the rifle and pistol range. Range Master Brad was outstanding. With his guidance and help, we sighted in the scope, and we had good shots on target. He also got us a lower target mount to simulate a turkey height. My son and I had a great time. We will be back. Thank you Brad!

Amazing range. Family friendly awesome place to bring the kiddos if they are into range time. Also the sporting clays are phenomenal! So blessed to have such a fun and challenging course this close to home!

Had an amazing day at Island lake today with my two boys and my cousin and his two boys it was a guys day of shooting various rifles and guns! What more can a guy wanna do with his sons… the range instructor Tony was awesome he was very friendly and informative ensuring the safety of everyone at the range. Tony went above and beyond trying to help me figure out an issue with my rifle he even lended me a cleaning kit to clean out the barrel. Besides the issue with my rifle it was a great day teaching my boys to shoot and to always be safe when handling firearms. Shooting outdoors is a different and satisfying experience I will definitely be back soon..

My father and I took shooting lesson from James Chambers. We are novice shooters. I never have shot clays until this year. We took a hour long session with James. James was very helpful with us. Before the lesson we averaged about 45 clays out of 100. After we are over 60 clays out of 100. Can’t wait to get more lessons.

Excellent place to shoot. We did the sporting clays and they offer three levels of clays on the same path. We shoot the blue medium and the red "pro course". This allowed us to work on adjusting leads and gave even more variety. The red course uses a presentation that I have been wanting to work on, however I don't know the name of the presentation offered. Gove them a try.

Signed up for trap and the rifle range and was met with great hospitality! The staff is awesome, and their facilities are clean and well maintained. Ill keep coming back and I recommend for any newcomers.

We been looking for a good range for our family. Think this is definitely going to be it. Our first time out was a great experience. Very friendly staff, extremely helpful and willing to answer questions. I like they had a wood burner going to warm up. Very clean inside and out. Very good prices on everything we purchased. I would highly recommend this range to anyone

I had the pleasure of learning clay shooting from James Chambers, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. James is a true expert in the field, and his passion for shotgun sports is evident in his teaching. He possesses a remarkable ability to break down complex techniques into easy-to-understand steps, making the learning process enjoyable and effective. James’ patience, clear instructions, and keen eye for improvement helped me progress significantly in a short time. A safe and well maintained location with a 100, 50, and 25 yard pistol/rifle range. An area for Skeet and Trap, and a large Sporting Clay set up with 8 stations, each with 3 levels of difficulty. We spent 3 hours Saturdays morning shooting about 75 clays each, and thetotall cost came out to be less than $40 each. Defiently fun!

This is my happy place. Only 15 minutes from home, well maintained and the range officers have always been friendly and helpful to me.

My first time shooting clay was awesome. Both 5-stand and sporting clays were great experiences with good targets, difficulty, and beautiful scenery. They even provided bottled water during the summer heat at the sporting clays. Their employee Holly greeted us when we showed up, then pulled for us, and even gave us tips and advice for shooting, all of which made for a very pleasant experience. All in all, it was a wonderful outing, and I can't wait to come back!

Overall great place to get out and enjoy some sporting clays with family and friends. Prices are to be expected and overall clean environment. Been going here for years and will keep going!

A little late on this review but I have to say it! Absolutely incredible! The management and staff are incredibly awesome and professional. After going through the initial steps to getting the lane, I met Tony who truly did a wonderful job explaining the rules and getting me set up. It was my first time here and I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for the great experience!!

Holly was awesome! This whole establishment is professional, the staff are friendly and everything was clean kept. They even had bottled waters out near the sporting clays for you. I can't wait to come back!

One of my favorite sporting clay ranges. Great people, nicely laid courses and very well thought patterns. There is a course for every clay shooter whether you are a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced wing shooter.

Participated at their skeet and trap course the other day, everyone was extremely professional and friendly . Very clean and well maintained course. Staff went out of their way to help a new shooter, total appreciated their patience and their advice.

Great local shooting range with knowledgeable, experienced staff and top notch Rangemaster's. Clean facilities with a welcoming environment. They offer well kept 25, 50 and 100yd ranges. Multiple automatic clay throwing booths and I believe an area for archery (don't quote me on archery) as I've never utilized that part of the facility. Overall 5 stars, keep up the good work!
