Blue Mountain Outfitters is an amazing place. Although located in a small city, they provide most everything, large and small, you need for any kind of outdoor experience. ExcellentOutgoing, knowledgeable staff.

Thank you Eric, for going the extra mile for your last-minute customers, on a weekend for that matter. I called in from 45 minutes out when you were closing in 40 minutes. I needed some hiking boots because I forgot mine at home in Vancouver. Eric asked my size, found a few pair ahead of me showing up, then was smiling and conversational when we arrived. He also changed my mind about the size I was going to buy. I'll let Eric tell you the story about the guy that called in after me with the same story but was even further behind.

This is why people remember experiences and return, and I'll be there during normal business hours next time ;)

Needed to rent a InReach Mini 2 for a trip. They were fabulous explaining it & setting it up for me. Worth every penny!!! As we ended up with a medical emergency in the wilderness and had to use it. Now purchasing one from them. I highly recommend. Great customer service!

Great selection of camp gear, been looking for a nice camp chair a while and they were super helpful finding one that fit my needs. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, it's a bit out of the way for me but I'll be sure to stop in again when I'm passing through!

Great local outfitter with a good selection of gear considering the size of their store. A little pricey, but often have various sales going on, as well as a continuous sale rack and pre-loved items. Staff are very knowledgeable about gear and local conditions, they also hold various informational classes and workshops.

Theres a good selection of items for anyone in need of high-quality outdoor gear. The staff are kind and friendly! I didn't notice any perfumes or added scents to the products which is a plus for me.

Mike and Ashley and Nora and Eric have been helpful and knowledgeable every time I've gone in. Even when they don't have something in stock that moment, they search for any alternative to help me out. Great service and great environment.

I drive 45 miles to shop at this outdoor store. Great selection, quality products but more than that it's the down to earth helpful folks that work there. Different test stations throughout the store to try products before you buy. Five stars only because six is not an option!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Basically a 'must stop' if you plan on doing any outdoor adventuring in Northeast Oregon. Make sure you grab some coffee and a free cookie while you're there!
