Great store! It always has everything we need from yarn, to baking supplies, to framing solutions, hobby supplies, and more. They recently re-paved their parking lot, which is a HUGE upgrade!

Many of the overhead lights are out, causing the store to have a very dark appearance. Helpful associates! Olivia was friendly and offered coupons at checkout. Another associate incredibly resourceful in helping me find something specific.

I always get my material at joanns if possible both in store and online. This was the first visit after moving back to maine and tho i am used to a much bigger store, they had a good selection ,very friendly and very relaxed atmosphere. Definitely Recommend!!

The employees are very friendly. I usually find what I need. The parking lot is horrible and has been for the year and a half that I’ve lived in the area. These are not potholes but craters.

One of the best Dollar Trees I've been to. Really great craft supplies and lots of them. It is spacious, organized and clean. I wish it were closer to home, but I'm glad it's here for my yearly visit.

If you are Not sure what you are doing or what you want.
Fill them in on the details of your project so they know where you are coming from, then they can make better suggestions......
They also offer discount coupons if you forgot to bring them....
I do business with them because they hire people with special needs, helping them learn more life skills.
Especially learning how to interact with new people.. And giving them self purpose...

Fave craft store, not too big, not too small. Cashiers often ask "What are you making?" Today they asked if I wanted to be in the rewards program. Typically, there is a line for fabric cutting. Unless you are buying a pre-priced remnant, need to go through the fabric line to get your cut & have it priced, before heading to cashier. Still my fave craft store!!

The Joann Fabrics Store in Bangor, Maine is absolutely amazing! So much inventory to choose from and such a huge store to explore! All of the staff are kind and helpful. They go above and beyond for their customers!

This is my go to place for Fabric. Deals are usually amazing and they have a great selection. They don't even blink an eye when I ask for just 5 inches of 15 different fabrics. Easiest way to get a variety for quilting.

This store has super friendly staff, is typically well stocked and is always clean and organized. I've never found the floors to be anything but clean and clear of debris and merchandise. The restrooms are always clean however a little underlit for my liking. They did a marvelous job in managing the right restrictions yet serving their customer needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, following the rules, keeping it clean and getting customers needs met.

I've gone here exactly once. And I'm going to share a secret to any other dudes who will skip over this place. This is where witchy people get witchy things. Trust me 100%.

First visit on a weekend in Bangor recently. Very large store with lots of choices for craft supplies as well as yarns and fabrics. Staff were very helpful in answering my questions and guiding me to items I was looking for. Will be going back for sure.

Was in the store shopping today, searching for a fabric that would match with some I already have for a project. I finally found exactly what I was hoping for in the red tag section.... sadly they did not have as much yardage as my pattern called for. I waffled and told the associate helping me that I wasn't going to purchase it because it wouldn't work with the amount of yardage. I kept looking around, but couldn't find anything that was even close to being as perfect as the first fabric. I decided to just go ahead and buy it and see if I could get creative with the pattern. I went back to the red tag section.... it was GONE! After a moment's hyperventilation, I saw the associate who had helped me, Kayleigh, and asked if someone else had purchased it. She went and found it for me!! And it wound up being $5 for the whole shebang. Kayleigh is my hero-- she saved my project :)
