Jerry's Artarama Retail Stores - Nashville

Oh wow- I love this place! I’ve only ever shopped online but happened to be in town with a physical storefront so I had to pay homage to the great Jerry’s! All the selections you can imagine of the best brands you cannot find in the rinky dink craft store chains that failed us during the pandemic. High end top quality supplies are in full stock. The brands that don’t let you down are all represented here. R&F, Goldens, Lucas, Arches, jacquard, I could go on and on but you know what I’m saying. Staff are wonderful. I’ve also had great customer service with the online team. Jerry’s will continue to be one of my top resources for supply. Thank you, Team Nashville. You made my day.

Really good selection of fine art supplies: paints (oils, watercolors, acrylics), pastels, inks, pens, brushes, canvases, papers, calligraphy, resin, sculpting, etc. No complaints at all, the place was clean, well organized, good variety of brands and prices, and staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend and would shop here again.

Jerry's Artarama is THE BEST! Everything about them is top notch - we get art supplies from them, have had things framed, get great advice from the staff... but what put me over the edge and sent me writing this review is a recent framing project I had done... I had an old frame with a vintage print and the glass had broken. It was funky and old, with a poor hanging mechanism (which caused it to hit the floor and break the glass), a ripped back cover, etc. But it's beautiful! I brought it in to replace the glass and that's it. I paid an extremely reasonable price for the glass and did not discuss anything further with the terrific person who helped me. It came back to transformed! A new back paper, a new hanging thing that works great, and of course the glass. They breathed new life into it! And yet it remains absolutely its essential old self. Above and beyond the call of duty and very much appreciated. xoxo

I love real art stores like this. Friendly staff, always helpful

Every time I have been to Jerry’s I have had a great shopping experience and come out having learned something new. The staff are some of the most helpful people I have met and enjoy hearing about the project I’m working on. This is one of the few places I have found that sells the same full line of framing supplies they use for their in-house framing work, which I appreciate greatly as an amateur woodworker. I have gotten preservation-grade glass cut (at very reasonable prices) and picked out a few great matting colors. This is definitely one of those instances where it really pays to shop local when you consider the full experience.

The design from the road was so intriguing, it was the first spot we went to when our beloved (art-loving) teenager did not pass her driving permit test. She said this facility was "cool" and "filled to the brim with essentials (that every artist needs)."

Everything you'd expect in a well-stocked art store coupled with great service.

The absolute best! The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They go above and beyond. I accidentally left a paintbrush in my cart that I had brought from my house to compare, they held it for me behind the front desk.
Also, great prices!
I encourage all customers to tip employees with their purchase!!

This a really fun art store! I’ve been three times now and I have yet to not find what I needed (and a few extras as well). They have a great selection with fair affordable prices. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. I like that they carry beginner to pro level supplies, because it gives way more options when testing out a new medium. They have information on Nashville art communities too, which is nice if you’re looking to become involved. Plus they allow “good dogs” into their store and they have dog treats! My dog loves coming along!

Great store, but why are the cashiers now soliciting for tips at the register? It’s really awkward and caught me off guard! Ask Jerry for a raise!

Edit: After seeing the response, I’d like to specify. I quickly picked out things I needed from the store. Didn’t need any help from anyone (though I’m sure they are all awesome if I did!), went to checkout and the cashier directly asks “you want to leave a tip?” Feeling awkward I said “sure?” And quickly they say “$3?” Homie, I can get behind a tip jar or having the ability to tip when customers want to! But this approach is a lot. I’m a starving artist too!

I keep saying I'm not going to go in there unsupervised lol But honestly, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are already good and then when they run a sale it's fantastic!

What can I say about Jerry's Artarama that hasn't been said?! Just a really great local art supplier invested in helping the artists in the community thrive. And the store manager, Amanda, is an absolute gem! Selection, quality of materials, helpful and informed staff, Jerry's has it all. Very proud to be part of the Nashville community with businesses like Jerry's Artarama around.

I've shopped Jerry's Artarama for years online and now I'm lucky enough to live right down the street from one! Staff is always super friendly and they def have the best selection of brushes. I can always find what im looking for there. :)

This is my go to for framing over the years for several reasons. They understand art to begin with and regardless of the types of pieces I've brought in.. from Egyptian papyrus and block prints to treasured water colors, they do a professional job and I have confidence in their work. They have a large inventory of pre-made frames as well as custom framing.... and if you need framing done, this is the place.

This place rules! I came here randomly as i was traveling through Nashville. The staff was extremely friendly and patient while i picked out colors and even helped me out the door and to my car with my purchase.. Their spray paint selection is pretty good and everything was reasonably priced.

They have everything you could need for creating your art. The selection is phenomenal, and the prices are terrific. Everyone that works there is super nice and helpful. If you paint, sculpt, draw, whatever, this is the best place to go, hands down!

Love this place! The parking lot for this location is a little tight, but so worth it. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They're also knowledgeable if what they're selling, as some are artists themselves, which is super helpful when you have questions about quality or materials. Jerry's is great because they carry all the essentials (sans the overwhelming sense craft stores can bring) with a great range from economy to premium levels. They're always running sales on something! Joining their discount club also gets you 10% off every purchase on top of the sales. Definitely one of my top places for art supplies.

I had to make an over the phone, out of state order for a curbside pickup for an oversized item. Ellen answered the phone and helped me through the entire process, while Amanda the store manager finished up with getting me all needed documentation. No complaints!

These folks have gone above and beyond!
They've framed and matted lots of pieces for me and every one has been great.
They fixed some damage to a painting that had been damaged in the tornado.
Most importantly, though,, they've consistently provided outstanding customer service! I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
