Had an amazing time for happy hour at American Tapas Bar - I won't with the Fresh Linen Martini which was really good. As for food I went with the happy hour 5 for $35 deal and I got - 2 portions of chicken wings (buffalo and guava BBQ), a filet Mignon slider, calamari, & truffle Mac and cheese. I also went ahead and got the skillet cornbread because it looked so good on other reviews and well as the chicken and waffles because I get those everywhere I go. And thank goodness I got the chicken and waffles because it was some of the best I ever had in years. The service was pretty good - nothing too outstanding - and it has a nice cozy ambiance.

Everything was delicious! Tapas are perfect for sharing! I loved how quickly the food came out! Everything was very flavorful! I loved that the grits were already cheesy! The goat cheese croquettes were very rich in flavor
That truffle lobste mac had a nice smoky flavor to it, the Crab cakes were well seasoned! It was all so good! And loved the S'mores! I can't wait to visit again!

If there’s a place that can demonstrate industrial glamorous vibe with tons of charm, this is the place, it’s also very welcoming! Servers are friendly, sometime they got live music, also have the best Happy Hour daily!!! Saw someone mentioned the pork belly is too fatty, I disagree, the fattiness is what makes pork belly awesome. The slow roast brings out the tenderness with a little bit of crisp. Best Pork Belly I’ve ever tasted!!! perfect temperature, texture and the mouth watering flavor!!! 💋 Fantastic overall experience.
It is a little pricey, I would suggest a little bigger portion when it’s the regular menu prices which makes it more appealing.

My husband and I went on a lil’ vacation and decided to check out American Tapas Bar! Wow! Tim is fantastic! He suggested many delicious plates and was such a pleasure to have as our server! Not only was the food amazing, the atmosphere was so neat! Live music, too! Drinks were on point! Small portions to share so we had the lobster mac and cheese, the peel and eat shrimp, mussels (the broth was so good we ordered extra bread to dip in it!), clam chowder, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and finished off with their bread pudding! Can’t go wrong with anything you pick!

Wow wow wow! Absolutely delicious and fun dining experience. Tim was such a great server. Our drinks never went low and other workers were checking to make sure the table was clean. The musician was amazing! Diego we loved your relaxing and talented vocals. Also Carla was so welcoming we really had such a great time we will be coming back for sure!

Wonderful place to enjoy tapas and a cold beverage on a Friday afternoon! Reasonably priced dishes and drinks. Attentive but not interruptive wait staff. Definitely add to your list of dining venues.

We have a great time in American Tapas Bar. The food are delicious and many kids of drinks. I’ve never forgotten the cakes I ordered.

First time there and glad I went. It’s been opened for about a year and decided to go to happy hour with a friend. Really nice inside. We sat at the bar. The tapas were very good. We had the chicken wings, cooked perfect and crispy, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes( which I love) Mac n cheese. Small portions ( but they were tapas) everything so good. Had a martini delicious my friend had the wine. Very reasonably priced. Service excellent. I will definitely be back.

We visit every year and always love to visit American Tapas! Super great environment and good food too- we love sharing a bunch of the small plates. Veronica was our server and she was absolutely incredible. She was so sweet and attentive and brought everything out in a timely manner. Would definitely come here again!

Great drinks and a good happy hour special. 5 tapas for $35, the bacon wrapped dates are the best thing on the menu.

I had the millionaires old fashioned which is a amazing and my wife had the dirty martini.

Carla is a great server and offered excellent recommendations on what to order off the menu. Great atmosphere and live music. Key lime pie was delicious!

First time going here and I was very happy customer! Joe was very friendly, attentive, and funny. Also the live music they had there was great as well. The food was fresh and very tasty !! Try the bacon wrapped dates, the chicken and waffles and can never go wrong with truffle fries!

Omg one of the best restaurants in the area, starting with the service and amazing food, all the drinks were impeccable. The manager; Carla, was interacting with us and checking on us all the time. The musician playing on Sunday;Diego, was taking some requests in English and Spanish that was such an awesome experience. Can’t wait to go back next weekend :)

I was hunting a different place to eat today, and I noticed a new place in Boca called American Tapas Bar. BOY, am I glad we decided to try it.
When Joey came to our table, he was super helpful with the menu, and quick to grab our drinks. 🍸
Don’t come if you’re in a rush, it’s a cool vibe and all about good food and fun atmosphere. 😎

Hubby had Shredded Pork Sliders to start, while I chose the Wisconsin Cheese plate.
We loved both dishes. 😋
He loved it so much that he ordered the BBQ ribs entree. 🍖
I decided on the Mussels in a brandy cream sauce with crostinis.. DANG it was good! 🤩

This is a true neighborhood gem! From the minute you walk through the front door you are welcomed by the host, we were seated right away. Our server Tim was excellent. He realized we were in no rush, but gave great suggestions, took our drink order and let us decided what to choose from the wide variety on the menu. Over all over all food and drinks were wonderful, I would highly recommend American Tapas. I did forget to mention the entertainment which is an added bonus. It is a very lively atmosphere, so if you’re going for a serious conversation, this is not your place. But if you want to sing along or listen to some great music, this is right up your alley!

Great happy hour today. We split 5 happy hour dishes and all were A+. So was the service. Prices were a total bargain. Enrique took great care of us at the bar. Blackberry old fashioned was perfect.

Super delicious appetizers drinks and food. Can’t go wrong. Orin was amazing super attentive and gave us suggestions on drinks! Yes yes yes. Live singer was awesome too. The whole vibe even with our girls was amazing. Fast service delicious food and amazing waiter. Will be back!

We’ve been here several times and try different tapas each time and they’ve all been excellent! My favorite so far are the lamb chops and goat cheese croquettes, but everything is really good. Also recommend the linen martini. And, the music is an added benefit. Makes for a fun relaxing evening.

Tim was our waiter. He was fantastic! He recommended the shrimp and grits tapa. It was delish. The over all ambiance was very relaxed and chill. They had live music, who by the way was playing all the 90's jams, he was great too. All in all, food, drinks, and ambiance were spot on. Will be returning again.

We have been here for both drinks and tapas and have been pleasantly surprised each time. We ordered several tapas and had such a taste bud party with every bite. The best bartender ❣Enrique , live music and pretty great ambiance for group gathering or date night.
