Boston Beef by the Sea

Saw this place reviewed online by OneBite and I was interested in trying a Boston Beef 3 Ways. The lady taking your order is a definite character in a good way. The bartender next door at the taco place recommended the Philly but I was interested in trying something new as well. The Philly was one of the best I’ve ever had and the Boston 3 Ways is definitely a unique experience. Both were really good and the guys/lady cooking the food and serving you were super friendly. I would definitely go back. Highly recommended and definitely a must try.

If you want to experience a true taste of the Northshore and its classic "roast beef sandwich" THIS IS YOUR SPOT. I'm from a small coastal town in New England just a couple towns away from the owners of this shop.

Great little hole in the wall, prices are good too, especially compared to the other restaurants in the area. I asked the cashier what he recommended he said the cheesesteak was the way to go but I declined since I’m from NJ lol. I ended up going with the roast beef which was great. Dave Portnoy also rated the roast beef a 8.3 for those who are interested in his opinion!

I've lived in Pompano Beach for the past 10+ years, and it wasn't until my brother and sister-in-law (Russell and Donna) were visiting from Lynn, MA that I knew this place existed, and I have to say I'm glad to have found them. My only issue were the onion rings (my problem, not theirs) is I ASSUMED they would be the traditional New England onion rings (that you can get at any roast beef/seafood shop in MA). and they were not. Otherwise the food was perfect, and just like remembered and expected.

First of all, I'm a NY'r so of course I had my preconceived bias bc it's a Boston joint, but let me tell you, I've searched high and low for a lobster roll sandwich and these folks DO NOT DISAPPOINT! It came with perfectly crisp fries AND $1 beers to wash it down. Lisa was very welcoming, and although there was some construction outside you can't miss that this is an authentic Boston restaurant with the huge throwback Patriots flag in front. It's is now my new favorite spot by the beach ⛱

Just happened to walk go by this little place and the family owned vibe caught my attention and I couldn’t be happier that I stopped to check it out. Very basic Boston cut and dry menu and that’s all that is needed because the quality speaks for itself. The fact that there are empty chairs around me is the only thing I have a problem with. Cmon people! Do yourselves a favor and grab a beef sandwich here. You will thank me

10 years living in Boston and North Shore. This roast beef sandwich is the real deal, it is soooooooo good I would come back to Lauder just to eat here. And my wife loved the lobster roll, it looked very good to me but did not try. High tops outside for people watching complete the picture. Wow.

Great place and the owner is awesome! I did like the Philly cheesesteak more than the Boston beef, two different sandwiches, two different styles. Both are really great.

As a person from Massachusetts, this place is the taste of home. The owner lived in the same city I’m from and my gosh it brought me back. Very personable, kind and fun to talk to. The three hour drive from Orlando was most definitely worth it. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. :)

Amazing roast beef sanwich at Boston Beef by the Sea ! The beef was nice and rare, the bun was soft, and the cheese was tasty ! This is a wonderful new addition in Lauderdale by the Sea, and they are inexpensive with a remarkable menu. The worker informed me that their cheesesteaks were their bestsellers, but I had 25 more miles to bicycle and I was unsure of how a hot sanwich would travel in my bike basket so I went with the standard roast beef. Grwat customer service from the two dudes working the counter. Highly recommend !!!

Went there on 3/4, had the cheesesteak sandwich, would give any Philly cheesesteak competition for the Best! Wife had the lobster roll 5 stars! The onion rings were Great! Glad we stopped, will go back before we leave!!

2nd time here. First stop !! This time was graciously greeted by the friendly owner as I looked over the menu outside the door. He invited me inside. Bought me a beer as I told him about how much my family enjoyed the friendly staff and amazing cheesesteak sandwiches and lobster rolls on our last visit in 22’ We talked about sports as I ordered up round two of the most flavorful perfectly cooked beef sandwich. And what makes this cheesesteak the best I have ever had, is the pairing with the perfect roll to hold this generous juicy portion of beefyness . Real bang for your buck! Stop walking by this place. Stop in. You’ll come back !!

I absolutely felt like home!! I haven't had a beef 3 way in 7 mnths since we came to Florida. I live in jensen beach and drove 2 hours to have lunch here!! It did not disappoint!! The owner is a friend from Massachusetts and he definitely brought the north to Florida!!

My dad and I had an amazing experience here! We arrived mid afternoon, (when it wasn’t busy), and were greeted by a friendly employee. The employee recommended to have the lobster roll in mayonnaise instead of butter because he was from Boston and knew the authentic way it should be served. This was the best lobster roll ever! Fairly priced and will definitely be going back. Highly recommended!!

The cheesesteak was delicious! Fresh cut rib eye steak with the perfect amount of cheese on a fresh hoagie roll. It tops the “philly cheesesteak” I’m used to from my native city of Philadelphia. The service was friendly & timely. I highly recommend this place!!

Friends from Orlando told me to stop here while I was in Ft. Lauderdale. They claimed it was just as good as in Boston. I must agree it was delicious. I had one while I was in Boston but this was definitely better. Nice huge beef sandwich. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Boston beef by the Sea!

Wow! The best roast beef in the country- this is cooked fresh on site- got my junior - Had it 3-way - ( Cheese/ Sauce / Mayo ) PERFECT!!! Must try the steak and cheese! This is what I’m talking about!!! Lobster Roll will be next! On a side note - Staff is amazing !!! Super clean - #OrangeFanta
