Rook Coffee

We love going to Rook every morning for our coffees. Julia in particular makes it perfect every single time! You rock!!!

Love Rook!! Wish I had one closer to me in South Jersey/Atlantic City area.

The hype was worth the cup. First time going. Coffee freshness and flavor was unmatched. Not too many options for a Starbucks person, but the simplicity and aroma in just a cup of coffee was unmatched. I wish there was one closer to me, but my pockets are thankful there aren't. 😂

It was my first time trying Rook Coffee and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces. Gabi took my order and was simply amazing; extremely helpful and friendly in explaining the different types of coffee, and making suggestions based on my personal coffee preference. I ended up getting the New Orleans dark roast with oatmilk, and it is the most balanced coffee I have ever had. The overall atmosphere was very cozy, clean and inviting - highly recommend to those who haven’t been, and will definitely be coming back again for more!

Excellent coffee experience in Freehold, NJ. Many different roasts to choose from, all made via pour-over so the cups are fresh.

The food offerings are limited and include croissants, pastries, and a few assorted snack bars.

Reasonably priced, welcoming environment, and open at 6am everyday!

Nothing but love for Rook Freehold! Thankful for cold brew bottles and the ever changing flavor options. Highly recommend using the app, makes the whole experience super efficient.

A nice place to get a coffee that is not the usual Starbucks experience. I had a Turkish coffee that was flavored with cardamom and made with dark roast coffee. Delicious! Also available was a New Orleans style coffee made with chicory. The store was tidy and baristas were very good at explaining the variety of beverages that were on offer. I can't wait to go back and try one of the cold brew coffees or just another variety of hot coffee.

Unique coffee, not a typical but very delicious. My favorite is the New Orleans hot.

Great local gem, with staff that is very helpful and friendly. Still trying to find my favorite brew, so more trips in store until I have tried them all. You will also find beautiful pastries and of course a bagel.

I love rook. I love that the coffee isn’t over powered by sauces or syrups. The seasonal flavors are always great. The service is always phenomenal and the fact they sell their concentrated cold brew makes my life easier during the week(:

We love Rook! Have been going there since it opened and have always been impressed with the service and atmosphere. The coffee is fresh and delicious. We moved to Boston and now have it delivered. When people come visit we request the new orleans cold brew and an extra bag of beans to share. A bag of beans, t-shirt and mug are favorite thank you gifts for neighbors who take care of plants and mail while we are away! THANK YOU ROOK!

Dropped in for a cup of coffee, did not expect much. Taken back by simplicity, and awesomeness of the coffee.

The menu was super simple, nothing much is offered other than scones, and bars, which pair up nicely with coffee as a snack.

Maybe in summer, I'll try their cold brews

Rook is one of my favorite coffee places to go to. I love the seasonal specialty flavors, currently enjoying pumpkin style. I cannot wait for their winter flavors. The experience is always pleasant at all Rooks but the freehold location is especially nice because it is one of their slower locations and the staff can really take the time with you.

Rook is my favorite coffee shop!! Amazing local business with really quality coffee. The prices are very fair, and there's really nothing like having the coffee beans freshly ground when you order a cup. Service is always excellent, and they have a variety of roasts and unique beans to choose from. Try your next cup "Turkish style", with cardamom!
