Took my cockatiel here with a small mass near her eye. I was terrified about such a little bird under anesthesia (especially after a different vet told me she would surely die at her age). The vet and techs here were so comforting and confident that I trusted them immediately. Her surgery was such a success that the incision was so tiny it didn't even need stitches. Now my bird that I've raised for over 13 years is happily eating, drinking, and preening herself mere hours after surgery.

As someone who used to be a vet tech, this is definitely the place to go for quality care.

Other pros:
- were able to schedule an urgent appointment visit same day
- emailed me after her initial appointment asking how she was reacting to her medicine
- was just a quarter of the cost for surgery as what another vet quoted me
- super sweet and genuinely seem to love their patients
- even gave my bird some treats after surgery

Dr. Wisser has been taking care of my animals for over 10 years. She and her staff always provide exemplary care.

I was there a little over a week ago with my Guinea pig for a lump he had on his neck. The staff there was so understanding, and they were able to figure out that he had an infected tooth that resulted in an abscess. They were able to remove his tooth and drain his abscess in a reasonable amount of time and for a fair price. Throughout the whole process they were very attentive and compassionate, and they continued to answer any questions I had about him after we had left the facility, whether it was through the phone or email. I would definitely recommend this vet for any Guinea pig owners out there!

Cannot say enough amazing things about this place! I found Geneseo Veterinary Care after my hedgehog Petrie needed emergency care that her primary vet was unable to perform. They were able to take her on as a new patient immediately. Dr. Wisser worked with my veterinarian back home and performed further testing and was able to schedule her surgery right away. Petrie was found to have an endometrial polyp and her extremely delicate surgery was handled flawlessly. Petrie had boundless energy immediately after and there were no complications post-op.
From the reception staff, to the vet techs, to Dr. Wisser herself, this team was worth every penny (very fair pricing, too) and our drive of 2 hours each way. They took the best care of my little girl and gave me their time and patience in explaining everything and answering any questions I had (there were a lot). This team is made up of nothing but angels. To Dr. Wisser and all the girls there, Petrie and I are forever grateful.

I’m giving 5-stars based on the incredible compassion they showed me and my family. I was quoted an astronomical amount for our dog to be spayed by our vet, so I called around and Geneseo Vet Care would take us and was 1/3 the pice. Unfortunately, before we could go through with the spay our dog passed away unexpectedly. I was so pleasantly surprised when just a day or 2 after informing Geneseo Vet Care, a sympathy card with a hand-written note was delivered to our house. Our original vet (who we went to for the life of our dog) did not even send a card. If we get another dog, we will surely try Geneseo Vet care for that one.

They are amazing. You can tell everyone there loves what they do. We drive 45 minutes just to take our dogs there. We have a Husky/German Shepherd mix and a Cocker Spaniel and they both like it there. They are really accommodating when it comes to times for appointments.

Great people here. Took my elderly cat in for an emergency visit and Dr Wisser was so nice and caring. The people here are absolutely wonderful, my visit was swift and everything was throughly explained to me in detail. My cat is feeling so much better and I can’t thank them enough.

These people are Amazing! It's like the old times when the doctor came to your house. They came with compassion and professionalism. You didn't feel well and they came to you, with knowledge and kindness. These folks are the same! They are looking out for your furry family and you, they treat the whole family. Truly great people!

We were advised to go there when our pet bunny of 8 years was ill. They respectfully allowed us to say our goodbyes, before they cremated him and were patient while we took the time to pick up Fluffy and bring him home.

This was my first experience with Dr Wisser and Geneseo Verterinary Care. I have a cat that has not been to a vet in years because I have not found a vet I trusted to care for him but today he had a dental issue that could have been an urgent visit. They were willing to get my Kitty in the same day and evaluate him. I was very impressed with Dr Wisser and her staff. She came out a explained in detail her findings and what she would suggest we do, gave me options and made me feel comfortable with the cat’s overall care. She will now be the vet I turn to as my Kitty is in his senior years and will be needing more care. I am totally confident I have finally found a vet that his my kitty’s best interest in mind. I highly recommend Geneseo Veterinary Care.

We have some cats with health issues. They were very thorough with us even after squeezing us in. Staff is friendly and they gave very helpful medical support to our elderly, grumpy little cat. their rates were reasonable too. They are Covid cautious and still doing curbside but that works for us.

Dr. Wisser is the best! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful and I like the way that the service is set up. I will definitely be bringing my mice here for all their future needs!

Dr. Wisser is amazing! She explained everything thoroughly,extremely kind and courteous. Her and her staff are everything I hoped for in a veterinary.

They did really great with my girlfriends dog he had to be put down and gave us all the options for cremation, paw prints, and hair in a jar...very nice place

Super friendly staff, reliable customer service! It is curbside due to COVID restrictions but I find it easier instead of waiting inside and overwhelming ourselves and pets.

Today was my first visit to Dr.Wisser and she was fantastic I am so thrilled that my daughter suggested that I go there and I definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a vet .She is very caring and compassionate and you can tell she truly cares.
