We are beyond spoiled to have the Free Style right across the street. Deb, Russ and the employees do a great job putting out high quality delicious food every day. Breakfast sandwiches are the best and the local craft beer selection is plentiful. My new favorite sandwich is the Mississippi Pot Roast. The sandwich is a combination of an excellent beefy flavor with a little kick of spice. Thank you Deb and Russ for restoring the broken down old building into something the entire community is proud of. Well done!

Super cute gift shop/store that serves unique soups and sandwiches! You can get everything from tools, to milk, to snacks and coffee as well as jewelry and local maple, honey, jerky and art! Definitely a place to stop at least for the experience.

Eat here frequently. Excellent sandwiches, especially when owners prep. Always at least good.

I love this place. Most excellent breakfast sandwiches fresh made, and snacks in a wide variety highlight this little country store's offerings. The MG Car Club of Western New York Centre holds our monthly cars and coffee here the last Sunday of the months during the driving season, and the food and coffee is always great.

Free Style Mercantile is a fantastic place to visit! The newly renovated 1930s period Tudor-style gas station has a great atmosphere and lots of unique treats. I enjoyed trying some freshly roasted sandwiches, salads, homemade cookies, cake, and Hershey’s Ice Cream - all delicious! They also have a great selection of craft beers, River Rat Cheeses, Steele Sausage, and Andy’s Candies, all top-notch. The staff was amiable and helpful too. Overall, it was an excellent experience at Free Style Mercantile - I highly recommend checking them out if you're ever in the area!

A real gem, and a mainstay for me! Wonderful folks, great and tasty assortment of goods. I've quickly become a loyal fan, and can't recommend them highly enough. (Especially if you're visiting the Genesee Country Village and Museum!)

What a gem this place truly is! My daughter and I went in to grab dinner after a long day and the food really hit the spot! We enjoyed our sandwiches and potato salad at one of the picnic tables outside. The menu had several delightful sounding sandwich options, as well as many salads. The sandwiches we ordered were handcrafted with skill and were as fresh as can be! I can’t wait to stop back for breakfast sandwiches. The store also had various local items like jams, coffee and sauces galore! Along with all the items you’d expect to find at a convenience store. Really a special place!

Really amazing sandwiches. Was very excited to learn they roast all of the lunch meat in house! I did not know people even did that anymore, it’s not preservative filled deli meat. Very high quality!! Neat to learn about the history of the building and all the work the owners put into it. Excited to try their dinner menu.

THIS PLACE IS A GODSEND to Mumford, NY. What a quaint little eatery - they have A LOT of stuff too! I love how a good portion of their merchandise are local creators. The food is PHENOMENAL and their staff is always so kind and great conversationalists. LARGE variety of food and meals, hot or cold, prepared or freshly made for you. Their sandwiches are excellent, both breakfast and lunch, their soups change every day, and they have desserts!!! They rehabilitated a sad old, derelict building into such a gem in this town. THANK GOD FOR FREE STYLE MERCANTILE!!!!!

Awesome, Awesome place. I hosted a Mother's Day Brunch and ordered the breakfast sandwiches, carrot cake and peanut butter cheesecake. Yum, Yum Yum! They also have some gifts, cheeses, sauces, earrings, crochet shawls and a wide selection of beer from low cost too what you might consider designer names and flavors. Nothing better than a cold beer after a hot long day of working outside!!! Great to work with, nice group of people and prompt with order being finished. My go to for parties and for that fact any time at all. Can't say enough wonderful things and I wish I could at least give a 6th star. Will order again for sure. Check it out because it will be worth your time!! And let's not forget coffee cold and hot. I also hear the milkshakes are fantastic. Hershey's ice cream in a cone or take a carton to go from there cooler.

They have great milkshakes and there is always a great atmosphere in the store. It is a nice touch to add the telescope so we can see the eagles.

I eat a scrambled bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich there almost every weekend

I stop in at least once a week on my way to work. Hot coffee, hot breakfast sandwiches and fresh doughnuts! The staff are great, very friendly and inviting. It's like a camp store, they have a little bit of everything.

Nicest little corner store I've seen in a long time. Got a huge shake for only 6 bucks!!

This little building holds the most delicious food ever. I personally recommend The Gobbler but everyone raves about the chicken salad sandwich! The pickles are to die for and the fresh deserts are amazing. If you haven't been there yet it's a must!

Amazing! Wish I could give a 5+ rating because they deserve it! Their employees are great, their food is the best around! They make it as soon as you order, so its right off the grill, warm and yummy! Love their summer special sandwhich! If you come through town and dont stop for a bite, its your own loss. So glad we have a local store like this around!

Just stopped on a whim to use the bathroom. Told my husband come in check it out. I decided to try a sandwich. And omg it was a amazing. Plus they have cannoli at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back

We ordered The Gobbler Sandwich, and Build your own. Got two extra items, The Carrot Cake and bag of Chocolate Peanut Butter cookies. All Homemade and delicious. Beautiful inside and out.
