We visited for Sunday brunch and discovered this offer. Food was exceptionally good, with a wide variety of items on the after-breakfast menu starting from 11.30 am.

-> In Dosas we tried Onion Rava Dosa, Ghee Roast Dosa and Gongura Spicy Dosa. All recommended. Loved the crispiness and size of the offerings.

-> Gongura Dosa has a layer of green paste generously smeared inside, which is a bit salty. Check with them before you order. Otherwise, delicious if you want to try something different!

-> Kaima Idly was another interesting find. These are fried idly pieces sautèd in a tomato gravy with onions and capsicum pieces. Served with dahi raita to balance the spicyness. Give it a try.

-> Thali was one of the best we tried. Every item was cooked to perfection and left us licking our fingers.

-> Don't miss the delicious filter coffee served in beautiful looking glasses.

-> Chutneys and Sambhar have a very inviting taste.

We got a chance to chat with the owner, and we absolutely loved his dedication to serve the customers.

The food quality has improved a lot compared to the covid phase. I very much recommend visiting this restaurant.

The Gobi Manchurian is the best I’ve ever had, and their selection of South Indian food - including a great selection of Dosas - was really good. Highly recommended

Excellent everyday tiffin place is our verdict. Mango lassi was freshly made and had that special gratifying touch. Paniyaram was little better than good. Dosa and tiffin was excellent as well. Service is slow and considerate. It is meant to be an easy going place so have service 4 stars. Well spaced well lit clean place.

We got the spicy Andhra Dosa and the special Thali. They were both really awesome. I love super spicy food and the dosa hit the spot perfectly. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Super recommend this place 👍🏼

Sri Vasantha Bhavan South Indian vegetarian restaurant is a hidden gem in Dublin, California. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone, but I highly recommend the dosa and upathadum.

Sri also offers a wide variety of other South Indian vegetarian dishes, such as idli, vada, and uttapam.

The service at Sri is always friendly and attentive. The staff is happy to help you choose dishes and explain the menu. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family.

I highly recommend Sri Vasantha Bhavan South Indian vegetarian restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic South Indian dining experience. The dosa and upathadum are must-tries!

The food was very tasty and reminded of the road trips back home. Eating wonderful South Indian food with beautiful conversations. The poori was light and fluffy. Dosa was fresh and tasty. Coffee - very good filter coffee. Overall a wonderful experience.

It was our first time here and we loved the food. Not so heavy but still so flavorful. They had chocolate dosa for our kids which they loved and customer service was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Quite a nice place to a have decent vegetarian lunch. Enjoyed the mini tiffin. Pongal was average, Dosa was good. Poori and khorma was tasted good. Thali was very filling. Filter coffee was ok.

Sri Vasanth Bhavan is a cozy South Indian restaurant in Dublin that has delicious dosas/ idlis and other authentic vegetarian food for the family. I recently ate masala dosa there with chai and it was light and fresh tasting. The dosa came with delicious sambar, coconut chutney and red chutney. My friends all ordered variety of items from the menu and cleaned their plates with a smile. The owner Hema was very pleasant and hospitable as were all the staff members who greeted / seated/ served the customers- this is something we appreciated. I recommend giving this family owned restaurant a try- you will be glad you did!

I have been visiting from the day 1 this restaurant open before the year of Covid19 break out. They are definitely my favorites over other South Indian restaurants. Quality of Service and Behavior of staff is really appreciable. Other Indian restaurants, some are very arrogant staff. Sometimes, it feels a favor is done by them offering food to us. This place is highly recommended.

We had special meals and mini tiffin today. It was worth the price. Everything was tasty and good. Friendly staff, quick service, clean restaurant, good quality makes up 5 stars.

Great food , been here a couple of times and every thing on the menu is delicious

Had the Vasantha special thali for $13.10 after tax. 11 vegetarian sides with rice and papadum. I was stuffed. The atmosphere here is extremely casual. Parking is difficult.

11/2/18 Update: Tried their lunch buffet on Friday for $14.25 after tax. The favors were too heavy/oily and many dishes weren't well-heated, but the fresh dosa was excellent. For the quality, I didn't feel it was worth the price.

11/5/18 Update: Upgrading to 5 stars. Had the Andra Spicy Thali. Excellent flavors and variety. For overall quality and cleanliness, in comparation with other local Bhavan, this restaurant deserves 5 stars. Yet to try: their dosas.

We love this place for a quick South Indian Breakfast fix. The service is great and amazingly quick. The host is very friendly and always gives us extra sambar and chutney at no cost! The food is great! Our go to Masala Dosas, Poori and Coffee never disappoint. If you are in the mood for great food and service, do visit Vasantha Bhavan!

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The dosas and Sankranti special thali were not only tasty but also well-prepared. The service added to the overall positive impression, making it a satisfying meal. I would love to come back to this place.

Modern South Indian restaurant, clean, authentic, with great service.
I tried multiple dosa styles- all were fantastic. The chutneys are fresh. Great hot masala chai and South Indian filter coffee. And their Thali is great.

Highly recommend it.

We love the food. It's tye best South Indian food in the bay area. Mani, the manager, is very accommodating of any special food requests ..mour whole family loves it here. Strongly recommended if you are a South Indian food lover.

There are so many choices for dosa places in the Tri Valley but this place is the absolute best for their choice of dosas. Clean place, friendly people and amazing dosas ! Do try the exotic onion chilli rava masala dosa if you want to try something different. Highly recommended for simple affordable vegetarian South Indian fare.

This is an update to my previous experience- we went back again a few times and found the service to be totally deplorable. So I guess consistency is not the name of the game!!
