Amerigo Italian Restaurant

Me and a few friends came in to celebrate a special occasion. All of the staff that we interacted with were super friendly and welcoming! The service manager, Adam, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our server, Riley, also did an incredible job waiting on us. The food was phenomenal and everyone enjoyed their entrees. The artichoke dip was unbelievably good and the seasonal salmon I ordered was so delicious. Amazing food and crew. We will definitely be back!

We always enjoy our meals at Amerigo! Their bruschetta makes for a wonderful appetizer … very fresh and flavorful. Their mushroom ravioli is divine. I also love how they have lighter options such as their seasonal squash salad. You can also never go wrong with ordering their salmon… it’s delicious! Highly recommended!

Excellent menu and food was delicious! Amerigo is very comfortable dining, clean and an up-scale look !We found great choices on the lunch menu; Veal picatta and chicken canollini... yummmm...plus a great bar & deserts.

Our Server was still young and learning but made a good effort for an enjoyable meal. I joined the rewards program and hope to go to all their locations. There are many reasonable priced items on the menu, especially at lunch and their special menus.

What a delight! We had lunch at Amerigo today; it was our first time there. The restaurant is comfortable and upscale without being stuffy. Our server, Ashley, was outstanding - keeping an eye out for anything we might need (she brought us refills on our tea when we were starting to get low). The food was wonderful! I got the Thursday special (sausage stuffed pork loin, green beans and parmesan mashed potatoes). It was very nicely cooked and delicious (the green beans were fresh). My husband had the salad and half pizza. The meal came with rosemary bread and olive oil. We had enough food to bring home for dinner. The prices are not bad, actually very good compared to other restaurants. Our total bill, excluding tip, was about $38. We will definitely be going back.

Very refreshing to go to a restaurant for the first time and simply enjoy the experience. The food is top notch. Steak is spot on, pasta is tender, the sauces steal the show, and even the pizza will satisfy a bored palate. Service is always available without hovering. We will return and recommend!

The food and the service was excellent, better than we expected. Our server was very nice, gave great recommendations, and served us well. The food was fairly priced and very tasty. The meatballs appetizer was really good. Caramelized salmon was delicious and the chicken ravioli was a nice, different dish. Would recommend trying.

We had a large party celebrating my nephew's state title. Not only were the staff nice and accommodating, the regular customers were too! Rhiannon our server was top notch. The food was delicious. Very creative entrees. The bread was soft and delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The manager came up to the table to congratulate my nephew and gave him a complimentary dessert. Best experience ever.

When you enter through the door, the smell of Italy 🇮🇹 captures your taste buds. The music and atmosphere is upscale and romantic but won't break the bank..today we did take out and enjoyed the chicken parmesan. Highly recommend this restaurant. Staff was exceptional!

Absolutely fantastic place if you want an upscale dinner. Our waiter was fantastic. Food was amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. It's a little pricey so be prepared for that, but the food and service was well worth it. It takes a little while for the food to come out but that is because everything is made to order.

We ate at Amerigo in Huntsville tonight and it was delicious! I had a bowl of the shrimp bisque and it was so good. I had the tortellini and my wife had the mushroom ravioli and both were flavored so well. The portion sizes were large enough that we both had enough to take home for lunch tomorrow. Amerigo is my all time favorite Italian restaurant. The one in Ridgeland was our first and this is the first time we ate at the one in Huntsville. We can’t wait for the opportunity to eat at Amerigo again.

This place was all good vibes! The service was exceptional! Even the guests we were sitting near were great company. We had a large family group that were celebrating a state wrestling champ and the whole team at Amerigo went out of their way to celebrate with us. Highly recommend.

I have dined at Amerigo before, but this was my first time at the Huntsville location. Overall I had a delightful experience with service, atmosphere and most of all the Italian flavor of my food ❣
My Cedar Plank Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and the chef selected sides were very complimentary. My guest ordered Chicken Marsala; surprisingly, he stated “lacking in the Marsala flavor”.
My dessert, Pecan Butter Crunch Cake,was packed with flavor!👏👏👏👏👏

Tiramisu was truly, exquisitely above the rest for me!!!!!

Superior dining experience from the reservation to the check. Received a courtesy call the morning of our reservation to confirm they received it. Greeted professionally and seated on time. Rebecca did an excellent job hosting our table. The kitchen team delivered a great meal for us, from the calamari to the sea bass to the butter crunch dessert. Tiramisu was ok, missing any significant espresso flavor.

We had a party of 9 and ate various dishes. Everyone liked their choice. A particular favorite was the shrimp bisque. Dessert was fabulous and the portions were huge. The service was outstanding! We sat outside on a pleasant patio.

Friends decided to come together for a birthday dinner here and let me tell you guys! From the Appetizer
( Artichoke dip) to the bread with the little butter stuff (lol) all the way down to the pasta itself were mind blowing! I had the shrimp scampi and I couldn’t believe how much flavor was packed in this dish, From the first bite I knew I’d come to the right place! Management gave us a warm Happy Birthday and our waitress made sure we had everything we wanted/needed . Their mixed drink cocktails are hands down unmatched ! Try the Smoked sour! Very clean up kept restaurant ! And the menu prices? Call it the icing on the cake! 10/10 highly recommend Amerigo Italian Restaurant !

First time here and will definitely be back. Delicious food and excellent friendly service.

Ordered the "Chicken Acuto" early bird special, $14, very reasonable. Good portion size. Everything was really tasty, even the normally bland and plain green beans. Chicken cut easily, tender not rubbery, and it was juicy. The bread was a little tough and dry, but perhaps on purpose -- may have been intended for dredging through herbed olive oil? Clean and attractive dining area, bar, patio.

My Husband and I met a friend here for dinner and the food, service and atmosphere was exceptional! They have the friendliest staff and everyone is so attentive. Katelyn, our server, was amazing! We wanted for nothing. The most impeccable service and the friendliest staff ever! The food is absolutely delicious! If you like Italian food and are looking for an excellent experience, look no further…and ask for Katelyn!

Riley and Evan were amazing! The drinks and service were great. They know the menu very well and recommended just the right dishes. They make a great combo! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I placed an online carryout order on Valentine's Day to avoid the rush. When I arrived to pick up the order, I could tell that there was a problem. The young lady working as hostess told me straight up that my order had been overlooked in the rush and that she would do everything possible to get it ready quickly. She was extremely kind, offered me a free beer while I waited, and then gave me a very generous gift certificate when my order was ready. I was quite impressed. We will definitely continue to patronize Amerigo. Great job!
