The Little Kitchen Asian Cafe

The Little Kitchen Asian Cafe is a cozy establishment tucked away in Dana Point. The atmosphere has a sizzle in the air from the open style kitchen. The service was wonderful. My wife and I were greeted and felt welcome from the moment we walked in. You know the food is going to be excellent when you can smell it from the parking lot. I ordered the Orange chicken, and my wife ordered garlic shrimp. We shared a vegetable fried rice and had fried dumplings for our appetizer. If you're a fan of Asian cuisine, this restaurant is a must try. The proportions are quite large, so make sure you bring your appetite. We will definitely be coming back to taste more from the menu.

Very tasty Asian food. I am typically drawn to sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice, and their versions of these dishes did not disappoint. Yum! The interior of the restaurant is very clean and nice—among the nicest that I have seen for this type of food, and the staff was very friendly. Notwithstanding the excellent dining area, because you are so close to Dana Point Harbor, I recommend getting the food to go, and go eat outside with a view. The prices reflect the impact of our beloved inflation, but they are relatively fair. Check the photos for a better understanding of the view. It’ll make the experience even better.

The Little Kitchen Asian Cafe is the place we go when we crave Chinese food. The menu is extensive and delicious. We’ve had over half the items on it and would recommend each dish we’ve tried. Our favorite is the black pepper beef/chicken and the tofu in brown sauce. You can’t beat it!

We had a wonderful dining experience! The atmosphere was great and the staff were courteous, friendly, and attentive. One thing to note for sure is that you need to bring your appetite because the portions are large, fresh, hot, and delicious! I forgot to take a picture of all the food we ordered coz I was busy eating🤣. We ordered Kung Pao, Sesame Chicken, Egg Foo Young, Beef , Kitchen’s Beef, Mongolian Beef, Egg Rolls, Dumplings. You will NOT leave hungry! A definite gem! Thank you for the hospitality! :)

This Cafe never fails to impress. I come here late afternoon. There are usually only two people working. I assume their the owners. Again the best Asian food in Dana point. Not my frist time here. Food is always hot!!! Very fresh and terrific. No where I have been makes better shrimp fried rice. Their ingredients including the meat is top notch. This Cafe is extremely clean. They serve quickly . Again we had a great dinner. Their priced with in reason. It's a winner 5 stars from me. Thank you again.

Good Chinese food. Fast service. Only could choose from hot/sour or egg drop soup for a cup. The other soups were only offered in bowl size. Hot/sour and egg drop soups were good. The chicken fried rice was ok, could use a bit more flavor. The beef with vegetables was really delicious. The beef had amazing deep flavor and the vegetables were perfectly cooked adente. They were asparagus, broccoli and sweet peas. Good service and good food. Will return.

Excellent food, I had the garlic shrimp and chicken with mushrooms. Both were excellent, ingredients were very fresh and were large portions that I had leftovers for a couple of days. Can’t wait to go again!

The Little Asian Cafe in Dana Point serves up some tasty dishes. I called in and placed a take-out order over the phone. The young lady on the phone said it would only take about 15-20 minutes.

Once I arrived, a gentleman greeted me at the door. I believe he was the business owner. They were still prepping my order when I checked in and I can see the older gentleman cooking the food. It smelled amazing in the restaurant!

I paid for my order and, soon enough, my order was ready!

When we brought our food back to our hotel, it was still steaming hot and the food was delicious! I’d happily come back to support this business when I’m in the area again!

Great food and awesome service. I see why people rave about this place.
We were craving for some Chinese food and decided to Yelp. We saw this one was not far from us and chose to give it a try. They have decent amount of vegetarian/vegan options to choose from which was fantastic. We ordered Kung pao veggies, Hong Kong fried noodles, and pumpkin soup. OMG! The food was incredibly authentic. The pumpkin soup was not something you’d find on Chinese menu but it was delish. Hong Kong fried noodles and Kung Pao veggies are both tasty and just good amount of spiciness. The manager was very chatty and welcoming. He certainly made our experience much better.

Some of the tastiest sweet and sour pork I've had. Singapore noodles weren't bad either. My wife had the kitchen chicken which she said was delicious.

This restaurant is one of the best asian restaurants out there. The food is extremely delicious, prices are decent for the quality and portion that’s served. However, there is one thing that really bothered me and made me want to reconsider eating here again. The asian lady that works there is very stingy and selfish. Firstly, she kind of demanded the tip when the bill came, not only that, I tipped the waitress(an old hispanic woman) $6 cash. As soon as I gave her the money, the asian lady, which i assume is the owner, rushed to that old lady and asked how much did i tip her and asked the old lady to hand her the tip, but the old lady told her it’s only $5 and refused. No matter how good your food is, I hate buying anything from these type of people.

We have been ordering here for many years and love their service, kindness, food, attention to the customers needs. Thank you for taking care of us always.

My favorite Chinese place and I ❤ Chinese food. I always order the honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and cream cheese wontons. If we are really hungry we add the Dan Dan noodles, they're great!

Visiting from South Texas. Have never tasted such delicious Chinese food. Very flavorful and service was quick and great. Over all experience was awesome. Will be back before leaving San Clemente.

I have never felt compelled to leave a review but The Little Kitchen Asian Cafe is simply THE BEST. Their fried rice...amazing. Their Szechuan green beans...AMAZING (and not even on the menu thats how amazing they are that they took my order and made it happen tonight). Thank you thank you for awesome Chinese food. FINALLY after two years living in SoCal I found the best.

Flavor? This is your spot. ! I’ve been coming here for the past 6 years. Most of the 5 years I’d just order for take out. My kids and I would picnic at the beach with this yummy food! Always hits the spot. The other day we went for a sunset watch and was not really hungry. We opted to try other places, but other places were bar like type and my kids just didn’t like that vibe. Was too late for a picnic, so we dined in. The food is always spot on. The service and atmosphere feels like you’re visiting family. If you’re coming from the IE, or LA, SD, even N OC, and you’re short on food ideas for the family or a nice date, swing by. You won’t be disappointed. Large portions and full of flavor. If you like flavor, this is your place. Enjoy!
