Salty Yarns

Love my visit to this great shop! Bought some newly released patterns, a few notions and needles, several pieces of cross stitch fabrics and wool and wool applique patterns, so much that I love, all in one place!

this yarn store is amazing, beautiful yarns and thread everywhere. the only problem is it is a little overpriced. i would recommend it to anyone who knows they will finish a project lol, the yarn is so soft!!!

What a great store, staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Great go to place to get projects and supplies all in one. They have a VERY large selection of just about everything to do with needlepoint, cross stitch, and knitting, and I'm sure more, there was so much to look at!

This shop us a feast for the eyes! More cross stitch charts than I have ever seen in one place. A one stop shop for all your stitching needs. Their linen is beautiful, all the threads from different companies and if you knit, beautiful yarns. All the shop display models are fun to look at, and it makes you want to stitch them all. The only negative about this store is that the charts should be better organized.

Amazing selection of cross stitch fabric (literally every color, count, and fabric you could imagine), floss, needles, and every other accessory and tool needed for cross stitch. I'm not a knitter so I can't speak to that part of the shop but the selection is HUGE which can't be a bad thing. If you are into needle/hand crafts you will not regret a visit the next time you're in town.

I came to find good yarn, found perfection. I found the prettiest wooden crochet hook, along with three beautiful yarn balls. The staff were amazingly helpful and kind. Great place to stop at on the broad walk

Salty Yarns is an amazing needlework shop!! There are lots of treasures in this place, so be sure you have plenty of time to browse and shop!! This place is packed with a great selection of charts, kits, floss, yarn, needlework tools, and an amazing selection of fabric!! The staff are knowledgeable and are happy to answer questions or to help you find what you're looking for.

Hidden in plain sight the salty yarn has been on the boardwalk for 40 years. I go to oc multiple times a year and had never seen it. The store is packed full of crafters supplies. I found yarn I had never seen before. The worker was really nice and we chatted about how she moved from up north just to work at this store. It has now become a must stop for every trip.

Love the selection. They have just about everything you need yarn wise. Books, yarn, crochet/knitting needles etc. Good quality stuff.

Wife loves this shop. Our children are grown now and they still go here to get their cross stitch on. Visit here, pick up some cool craft, and get Thrashers fries nearby.

Love this place. Sara and the staff are so helpful. They know where everything is if you are looking for a certain pattern. Sara has a great eye for color and can help with linen selection or color substitutes. Selection is great.

Cute local shop filled to the brim with counted cross stitch patterns, floss, fabrics, and other sewing notions. If you are into needlework, definitely give this place a visit.

Had a fantastic time in Salty Yarns at the Jamboree. Interesting teachers and projects. Lovely helpful ladies all weekend long. The Lankford Hotel is a great place to stay as well. Everything was very well thought out.

Great store for needle craft they have a huge selection of crossstitch as well as yarn. Everytime I go to ocean city I always make a trip to them.

Never go to OC without a visit to Salty Yarns. The shop is jammed with everything a needlework artist would want or need. Either in person or online shopping is a delicious treat for your soul.

My wife loves Salty Yarns. They have a great selection of cross-stitch supplies as well as yarns.
