Rakowski Family Farm Market

I've shopped at this market a few times now and I am satisfied with the food and customer service. Millie is awesome and such a nice person. Great conversations, great food, and her son is so cute. He was eager to give me 2 potatoes. I'll definitely be back, especially since I've bought food from the Rakowski family from Fulton Street Farmers Market in the past. Come down and buy some local food, you won't regret it. 🥰

We love having this place in our neighborhood. We always pick up fresh eggs here, and having farm fresh produce year round has been a blessing. Millie is usually the person who helps us out and she is such a gem! Always so nice and friendly ❤

I will always opt to support local farmers over big box grocery. The food lasts longer, is higher quality, and is better for you. Meat, eggs, produce, and some grocery staples. It's everything you need. Support local!

Awesome local grocery I've been visiting for the past 2 years now. Great prices for farm fresh local products. It's like going to the farmers market but inside and open way more often! The workers are always very friendly and make a connection to remember you and help you find whatever you need. Love Rakowski's!

I always buy my eggs from this farm, they are a little more expensive than the ones in large grocery stores but worth the price! they also have a stand at the Fulton street farmers market on Saturday and they have a great selection of produce for a great price. Also I love to pop in if I am out taking a walk and grab a $1 cup of delicious Hot Apple Cider!

Lots of local goodies! Reasonable prices and very friendly service. I bought onions, parsnips, carrots, kale, eggs, chorizo, dry black beans, and cornmeal. They have lots of types of meat, beans, bread, dairy products, and produce. My toddler wandered around the small store and we chatted with the gal working. Very nice experience and we'll be back!

Excellent customer service! Wide selection of grass fed, organic, and local meats! Michigan made speciality items and seasonal vegetables. Happy to support my community farmers.

I go here almost exclusively for chicken for the husband. They are great birds and a good price for a local chicken.

Great place for a variety of local good-for-you meats! The couple who run this have had a long-standing presence at the Fulton St farmers market. They have become so popular that they now get to offer their meats at their new storefront.

Perfect for the person who wants to support farm to table, local business, and Michigan made products/farmers. The selection and prices are comparable to the farmer's market (if not better). Their meat selection is extremely well priced with all the standard items like turkey, beef, pork, and chicken, but they also have breakfast meats, processed sausages (of all varieties), ribs, lamb, turkey, rabbit, and duck. It's perfect for those who want to shop at the Fulton st. Farmer's Market, but can't get down there (or it's an off day). I love that they have products from Traverse city (jams, etc.) and have a great selection of gluten free items as well (gluten free flour, GF snacks, GF granola, etc.) all made in Michigan. This is going to be my go to grocery store / place to get food in Grand Rapids from now on.

I love the Rakowski's! The main thing I purchase here is all their different preparations of turkey! They now offer more products then they had at their previous location.

I love this market! The staff and selection can't be beat! Being able to shop small and support local means so much to me and this market has become my go to for pretty much everything. You won't be disappointed!

There is a welcoming staff, not a whole lot for vegetarians but they have the absolute best nut butter I’ve ever tasted! I am happy to patronize this store with ALL of there local goods.

They have all kinds of goodies. We go mostly for eggs. They have nice quality eggs at an affordable price.
