Love this crafty yarn store, but it’s oh so much more. Stylish nail polish and artsy hair clips, Crafty sewing kits and fun projects for kids and adults alike. Also, we love the craft table for kids during the farmers market on Sundays. Great family owned store. Check it out for yourself!

I love Busywork! They stock interesting yarns and craft materials that you just don't see in other shops. Plus the owner is super knowledgeable and the service is top notch. I've been a customer since they were located in St. Louis, and they're still my favorite LYS. Every package from them is a delight from quality materials to fun retro packaging, and sometimes a sweet surprise of art from their kiddo. Busywork is the best!

Busywork is so charming, great vibes in there. It’s my go-to spot for birthday and Christmas presents for the crafty kids and adults in my life. They have fun products I’ve never seen anywhere else. The pizza box packaging is a really nice touch, especially for gift-giving! 10/10, really glad they’re in downtown Martinez.

Great little yarn shop with a good selection of handmade dyed yarns! Shop owner is wonderful! It's a yarn store but also a lil bit of everything crafty.

The owner is super knowledgeable and the shop is well-curated and accessible. They have a free craft table in the back so my kid was happy and occupied while I shopped!

Such a wonderful addition to downtown! Good quality yard, adorable craft kits, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. I went down with my niece and nephew last weekend and they even had a free craft table for the kids to make a few different things.

I went into Busy Work on Thursday looking for yarn for my Vintage Shrug Pattern. Bernadette jumped right in with suggestions for wool. I went home and started my project and reached a problem a couldn’t solve. I went in this morning (Friday) and Bernadette coached me through the issues that came up. Now I am leaving for my trip tomorrow with a project I understand and can work on during my flight. Bernadette is a patient, creative and generous teacher. I am delighted and grateful that she helped me. I’m looking forward to having such an innovative craft shop in Martinez and sampling the classes and services she will be offering. What a welcome gift she is to our little town.
