I have been to Ulta to purchase cosmetic before but my last visit I decided to schedule a haircut on a whim and was thrilled with the service. My stylist was incredibly kind and personable. She was willing to help guide me for a style that would suit me and helped me with some advice on easy ways to style it at home. I will definitely be returning to Ulta salon in the future!

I was in desperate need of a haircut but I couldn’t get to my regular stylist before Christmas so I decided to schedule an appointment at Ulta. I was a little hesitant but I had an amazing experience with Abigail! She was so sweet & down to earth and did an amazing job with my haircut. Will definitely be going back to her in the future :)

Miracle worker. lol. I had a really bad experience at another salon. My stylist at Ulta was able to correct the horrific color that was in my hair and gave me my natural look again.

I was able to join right into the stylists conversations along with other clients. It felt like I belonged there. 😊

My favorite store ever. The girls are the sweetest people EVER. They are so helpful and talk to you as if you’re a best friend. I was helped out by this amazing girl named Karina, and she helps me out anytime I go to Ulta and she’s working. The ulta has gotten so much better since the addition of Sol De Janiero and Charlotte Tilburry and in the Ulta app they send you coupons every WEEK. They just opened a sephora in the area, but ulta will forever be my go to.

I genuinely enjoy coming to this Ulta location, They always have a full selection the majority of the time. No matter what i’m looking for whether it’s high end or drug store makeup, i’m always offered help. the past 3 times i have visited there is a young gentleman who always offered his time to help and is extremely knowledgeable, i believe in his name is Tyler but i am terrible with names. Anyway he is always the first person to introduce himself and lend a hand, he went out of his way to shade match me and listen to my concerns even tho i was only browsing and he seemed quite busy in the front end. I definitely know I can come to this ulta location and not walk around like a chicken without a head when there are staff members who are open and willing to help whenever they get the chance. If any management team of this location is reading this, please give this gentleman a raise! He/They are always so attentive and helpful. I really hope I got their name correctly, anyways thank you Tyler for helping me with my purchase today!

My son got married, this past Friday,Oct 13 not far from the Rockaway NJ Ulta location. I have to tell you that if you're looking for a top notch hair technician for an up do...look no further than Dana! She is a master of hair. I have long, thick & curly hair and Dana was excellent in creating my up do for my son's wedding. Thank you, Dana! I wish I lived closer to this location.

I enjoy coming to this store and the staff is great. Shoutout to Megan for being so nice and helpful when choosing the right products for me :)

I’ve been going to this Ulta for many years. I am a big fan of Abigail, who is the best! Always a great experience with beautiful results!

I've been to many Ultas where the staff are not very friendly and make me not want to return to the store, but the staff at this location are always so so so nice and patient with whatver you need! I go out of my way to go to this location isntead of theone nearer me :)

As a barber I usually don’t go to the salon for beauty services because I’ve always had a friend or two that could help me out with a haircut and color. I had such a lovely experience yesterday with Abigail. She helped me out and matched my hair perfectly. What a great atmosphere. It’s very seldom you walk into a salon where all the employees work as a TEAM. I’ve never had a specific hair stylist regardless of the fact I’m a cosmetologist, but she was right on the same page with me and gave me the hair I wanted all along. I know who I’m going to from now on! If you want great hair, a good laugh, and a hoot of a time go to my girl Abigail!

I just wanted to send out a message expressing my gratitude for this location. Every employee is always professional, well-mannered, and knowledgeable. I had a really great experience the other day with an employee named Samantha. While I patiently waited for her to assist me find my shade in the Anastasia Foundation line I watched her almost gracefully transition between register, recovery, and general customer service. When she came to assist me she knew very quickly which shade matched me and educated me on the formula and coverage. She also gave me a good recommendation on which shade to pick when I get a little more tan naturally in the spring and summer time. She was also the one to handle my transaction and was very friendly the entire time. She very quickly diffused any intimidation that usually comes with visiting some makeup stores like Sephora or other high end places. I tried on the foundation when I got home and the color was absolutely stunning! I have never had a better foundation match in my life; I was so impressed with her. Overall she was amazing and so are her own makeup skills. She really proved to me she is not only knowledgeable but talented as well which really made me trust her judgement.

Found this gem of a place looking for a new place to get my hair done, highlights, cut ,etc.. Made an apt with Gia. Obviously I was a little nervous because I am biracial and have very textured hair.. I've been to other places and I was butchered, But tried Ulta and I am so happy! Gia is amazing ,sweet and very talented! Found my new Stylist!

I came in looking for some makeup recommendations as I rarely use makeup, but I wanted to give it a try for my upcoming wedding ceremony. One of the staff members called Holly over, their bridal expert, and she was absolutely amazing and so helpful! She first started by asking some questions about the event, what kind of look I want, what's my skin care type/skin regimen, and what is my experience/comfort level with makeup. Holly spent a lot of time with me showing me recommended products, letting me try them out, showing me how to apply them and other beauty tricks, answering any questions I had, and really took the time to look for the right products and colors for me. She made what initially felt like a daunting process (so many products to see and choose from) into a very easy and fun one. For the first time in my life I'm actually excited to play with the new makeup I got!

Tyler is amazing and helped me choose a perfect lip color for my dress and event. Typically I don't wear matte lip color or Kylie brand but this is amazing and easy to use. Thank you again Tyler especially for showing me how to use a lip liner and beauty tips.

Tyler was so helpful and so thorough when helping me pick a foundation. Seriously the best, wish i could put 100 stars if you need help with anything ask for Tyler.

I went to Ulta to get my hair and make up done for my wedding and I had such a great experience. Hailey did my hair and Ashley did my make up and they are both awesome!!! My hair and makeup stayed for the whole day and I was super pleased that they were able to do exactly what I asked for in terms of style. I have no experience with hair and make up and trust both of them and I would definitely recommend them to others who want to get professional hair and make up done. I wish I could have taken them with me for my follow up reception on the west coast three weeks later to do my hair and make up.

The customer service is great! Everyone is always willing to help you. In today's current world climate, the testers are all taped shut but they are all still there (which I appreciate because seeing the product and it's color helps as it's not always on the packaging). Store was clean and neat and everyone seems to be adhering to the social distancing standards.
