I live 60 miles North West in Indiana - Heard Local People Here Talk About the Famous Maid-Rite Sandwich- Took a Drive and They Were Right …!! Made-Rite - Nice Loose Meat Sandwiches were Bomb - Iconic History , Actually Had 3 , and it was all I could eat - Definitely Will take a Nice Bike Ride There this Summer

A local staple, it was an enjoyable lunch. The traditional maid rite sandwich was very good.

We have been going to Maidrites for around 30 years. Always a great meal. The shakes are so good. There is not a lot of seating inside, but if the weather is nice, there are plenty of picnic tables out back. We have never been disappointed with the food or service. Make sure to order more than one sandwich. You'll want at least 2, but we always get some to take home.

This place is amazing. A new to me spin on a classic sandwich. The flavor is amazing, have yet to have something I didn't love. It's got the small-town diner feel to me. It's always busy and people come from all over. I was introduced to this fantastic place by a buddy who grew up in Greenville. Now whenever my wife and I are within a 45 minute drive, we are here, no exceptions. I can not recommend this place enough. And an Ice cold Little Kings with a Cheese-rite, my favorite.

Stopped here on our way back to Columbus from Chicago. Completely worth the detour!! The maid rite is roughly equivalent to a junior hamburger at Wendy's, and two were more than enough for me. They had a nice flavor, with a hint of sweetness in the bun. The meat is high quality and the toppings are balanced. There's a reason there's always a line here.

Also, fear not if you don't like to eat in the car! There are PLENTY of picnic tables (and restroom facilities) outside if you arrive after dine in closes at 7.

This was a great experience to visit this small restaurant. The food was great, and ordering was easy, and so was the menu. I would definitely come back to this place the next time I'm in the area

If you are unaware of the most famous stop to each in the wonderful city of Greenville Ohio then take my word on this you need to go try it out! Beware even though I gave a 5 star on the service just remember that yes you will be waiting In a long line of cars that will be lined up a block away from the building sometimes. Yes, I know what you think, "holy crap Im going to be waiting 3 hours damn this line" but i assure you they are extremely effective and will move you on through that line like there's no business! They also serve drafted beer with their mad-rites and will if the situation is right allow you to get beer on the go. I myself thought that was pretty risky and against my beliefs but who am I to judge! The food is phenomenal and their peanut butter milkshakes are too. So if you haven't tried them yet or never heard of them check out this place for a quick bite to eat. Do not just get 1 either you will regret not buying at least 3!!

The sandwiches are really good and reasonably priced. I like to get a large vanilla coke with extra vanilla for lunch or cold beer if im there for dinner. Be prepared to wait in line though as it's a very popular place to eat. I got there at 1030 am( when they open) and was already 5th car in line. The lines DO move quick.

Everytime I am in town I have to make a stop here for some cheese-maid-rites. The meat tastes great. Also the milk shakes are super thick how I like. The drive-thru now has 2 lanes so you get through the line much faster. Be sure to chew some gum and stick it on the building while you are there! I highly recomend if you are ever nearby to give this a try.

This was my first experience so I tried a Maid-Rite, a cheese-rite, and a big Jim. It was a good experience and the burgers were great. Pretty awesome spot. And if you haven't been here I suggest you make some time to stop in.

Fantastic food and staff! They got our entire Track & Field team their orders fast and with a smile after our meet! Thank you for making memories for our student athletes!

They need a better cashier because she made us wait for thirty minutes before she even took our order

This is one place you need to go to if in that area. The sandwiches are great! Make sure to order two because one is really not enough and that place is always super busy, so when you decide you should have gotten two you will have to get back in a l o n g line. Great place!!!

Best loose meat sandwiches ANYWHERE. A great hidden gem in the middle of nowhere Ohio. Definitely worth going out of the way to eat.

I am convinced that Maid Rite puts CRACK in their Cheese-Rite Burgers. I live an hour away in Centerville Ohio. I happen to have two showings scheduled in Greenville today. Delicious... Fatty but amazing... Yummy... The young male cashier was a bit flighty but the patience and good spirit made up for it all. The sandwich is quite yummy. Basically it is well seasoned loose beef. with mustard, pickle and the option of cheese on a bun. I was a bit apprehensive about it at first but the line out the door and parking lot says it all! All the way from TN I'd come back just for maid rite! Oh yea the malts and shakes are amazing as well!

Maid-Rite is always a place my husband and I bring up when we want to go on a little drive for the best food. We always bring some loose meat sandwiches back for our family who get jealous that we are going and love jumping into the time capsule that is Maid-RITE!

A place like no other. Loose meat sandwiches. The flavor is a definite treat for your taste buds. Cherry milkshakes are a must. Dont matter when you go there will be a line. Worth the wait.

Very long wait. I was in line for more than 45 minutes and when I finally made it to the window they closed 2 cars in front of me.😡😡😡

Maid-rite holds a special place in my heart. Like most Ohio specialties, you either get it or you don’t. I feel sorry for the people who don’t. Historic location, great food prices: the cheese-rites and strawberry coke are the very best. Service is always kind and the line for these unique sandwiches is 20 minutes long with good reason. I don’t think Greenville would be the same without this staple of a place.
