Oaks National Golf Club

I spent a month in Florida (April 2024) and I had the pleasure of golfing numerous times at Oaks National. The online tee-time booking system and the informative website is really nice and convenient. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a good morning from either Julie, Michelle or Charlie. You couldn't ask for a more friendly group. They treated me like a member from minute one. The clubhouse is great, fully stocked with whatever you need. The course, overall, was good. Are some tee boxes a bit rough? Sure. Are some spots on the course needing a tad of attention? Sure. But there's always groundscrew members out there doing work, so they are working at it. You're paying $35 for 18 and a cart, so anyone complaining about these minor things should go pay $100+ somewhere else. The course has its fair share of challenging Sand traps and water hazards that are strategically placed throughout so it's not always just grip and rip. You have to actually use placement. Overall, I LOVED this course. I WILL be back, I WILL recommend it and I can't thank Julie, Michelle and Charlie enough!!!

This course should be the reason anyone plays golf. The staff is friendly and they care about what is the most important thing in golf, which is being a better player. Easily the most challenging course in the area. You can drive by uptight golf courses all day, you will over pay everywhere. The Oaks is reasonably priced and fun. Remember to bring a few extra balls so can enjoy yourself and play to get better. Five stars.

Had a great time. The course is looking great and is getting into shape . It is a beautiful course that makes you feel like you are transported to old Florida. Welcome to the new Pro and team that are making this course great again!

Played here today. This course layout is definitely something to write home about. Some really really good holes that you will remember. It is such a shame the course has been neglected. Greens were decent though. Don’t go into the rough. You are punished for going in there. I would really like to see more investment in the property and I will be back. God help anyone that has to play a tournament here. You require a caddy on some of the holes. Anyone that shoots par on this course should get a plaque on the wall.

I was here this time last year and the greens were poor but was told the new owners were going to do a lot of work. We'll just played and the greens are fantastic they have all been replaced. Course is a little dry at the moment but they can't help lack of rain. Well worth the money and a visit. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I will be returning. I have now returned again and still really enjoy course. Tee boxes need a little work but I will be back next year.

Very nice course golf weekly always a challenge

I expected that it was going to be a pretty poor course when I saw the price, but was really impressed. Staff was outstanding and helpful and the course was really fun. Greens and tee boxes were a little rough but they were actively working on getting them into shape. Would definitely play again especially for the price.

If you want the best deal in the State the Oaks is for you! It's a wonderful place to see lots of Florida wildlife.
They also have the friendliest staff in the State too.

I have been playing the Oaks for four years on a regular basis. It has gone through some great changes lately. Staff is much more hospitable and the course is always immaculate. For those of you who want a challenge there is plenty of water and the biggest oak trees I've ever seen. If you are local and get their "oaks card" and are a senior (55+), weekday play is only $18 (with cart but add tax) in the summer. Hard to beat that price. Only minus is the snack bar. I wish the food was better. Hot dog is about the only value choice. Subs are "sub par". Can't beat the great course and the prices though!

Course condition continues to improve as it has through the last couple of years.
Red crested sandhill cranes, ducks, ibises, and alligators are often visible, making the experience of golfing there more interesting.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Clubhouse is comfortable.
Green fees are very reasonable.

New owners have done an incredible job bringing the course back. Greens were amazing and staff were all very friendly. Still needs some improvement on fairways but still deserves a 5 star rating.

Very nice course, loved all the nature & birds! Had a great time golfing---this course was fun! The price was awesome & staff friendly & helpful. We will be back...on our list of favorites here!

Very nice event in the club house.

We had a blast playing in the osceola kowboys golf tournament. The event was well organized and well run. The course staff were courteous and very helpful.

Good course, lots of nature but needs to clean the big bushes growing! Never used to be like that before, management of this place needs to take action asap!

The staff is excellent, but I haven't golfed the course yet, I've only used the driving range which is excellent for the money.

Great people and a nice place to go and play a good round of golf

Quiet on this cold Christmas day 2022 but still open for business in the afternoon.

Great choice and nice staff in the Pro Shop. Will definitely play again next year when we visit Florida
