Finally made the drive out to Sugar Island bakery. It’s a super clean and cozy space with a good amount of seating. Tried an olive savory roll that was something I will dream about in the future. The iced sugar cookies have the perfect amount of almond flavor and softness, no wonder they are so popular not to mention adorably decorated! Next on my list to try is a chicken pot pie! Very friendly and fast service. I’ll definitely be back!

So went in one day to grab a coffee and 6 months later I'm a regular with cookies and all other stuff the make. No way a pepperoni roll should look like a cinnamon roll and be that delicious. If you in flatrock you gotta stop in. Place has amazing sweets.

Sugar Island is my favorite bakery downriver!! They have a variety of baked goods and food, fresh ground coffee, and make everything by scratch. It’s incredible. My favorite things are their pesto roll and iced oatmeal cookie.

Really yummy baked goods at a reasonable price. The ladies working the counter were very helpful. So nice that they have a few puzzles and coloring pages in the bookshelf to keep littles occupied for a bit! Been three times already and planning to go again

Amazing girls at the counter! The chicken salad is to die for and the yogurt parfait is perfection with that homemade granola. The cookies are a must and some of the best we have ever had.

Sugar Island Baking Company is AMAZING! It feels like you’re right at home every time. The desserts are all delicious and the scones are the best I’ve ever had!

Sugar Island is the sweetest place ever! The savory breakfast and lunch sandwiches are delicious, and the bakery items are beautiful, with unique offerings like cranberry streusel bars, macarons, energy bites, and so much more. Cinnamon rolls and pesto feta rolls are incredible! Also serving quiche and chicken pot pie by the slice, homemade soups and chilis, and a full menu of coffee drinks. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, with ice water, books, and puzzles available for guests. Regular tables and a comfy couch/chairs if you have time to linger! The service is first-rate - Jamie is so friendly and helpful, always offering samples and suggestions if you can't decide! An all-around great experience and worth the drive from Monroe!

Stopped in for the first time hoping to find a late and quick (and sweet) breakfast before a long drive. The pumpkin muffin was wonderful and the staff member who helped me was awesome. Store was very nice and well decorated on the inside.

I adore this bakery! They have delicious and quality items from cookies to soups to sandwiches to their whole pot pies! I love that they are right up the street and their space is cozy and wholesome.

Great bakery with a fun friendly staff. Pesto rolls are phenomenal and you have to try the cookies. Spicy tuna is one of the best sandwiches I have had anywhere.

Always a fresh assortment of delicious desserts! We love having a local bakery that’s such a friendly place to visit. The new addition of soups and sandwiches is an added plus!

The food is always fresh and they are always adding new items to the menu. It's such a great space to have coffee with the girls.I highly recommend visiting!

Super friendly and their coffee is delicious! I had a Carmel latte and it was magnificent.

We had a great experience with sugar island bakery - they made some beautiful cookies for an event. They had great communication to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Payment online and picking them up when needed was super easy and convenient! Also the cookies were delicious!! Will definitely be back again!

Christy and her crew do an amazing job! Cookies are always delicious and beautiful. Baked goods are fantastic. I highly recommend ordering from them. You won't be disappointed.
