Harbor Sweets

Very quaint. Live the entrance door. The small shops feels like it could have been a candy shop. Well back in the 18th century. The staff were helpful and welcoming. You can look into where the candy is made . Right behind the register. Tge candy is yummy smooth and lots if choice.

I don't really have a sweet tooth, and I'm "meh" about chocolate in general. I was given a box of assorted Harbor Sweets chocolates and WOW! They're delicious, and have a great texture. Fantastic!

This place is 100% a solid 5 star Gem hidden in the back streets of Salem. Down by the water this chocolate lovers paradise will sure to hit the spot ! Must try.

We toured harbor sweets and it was SO much fun! The chocolates are so delicious and the caramel is the best I’ve ever had. Loved this experience!

I love how you can see the machines working and how the chocolates are made. I'm from Salem and I love going in this place. I love the sweet sloops and their white chocolate is the only while chocolate I will eat!

Received a nice gift assortment box of Harbor Sweets chocolates yesterday from friends that came to visit us from Mass. Very high quality chocolate in beautiful design and superb taste. Excellent! 10/10

What can you say, factory shop with views into factory processes. Fabulous chocolates with free tasting for customers. Good parking also as its a good walk from main road

I visited this chocolate shop after seeing so many reccomendations from online guides for Salem. You walk in and the smell is so incredible and overpowering, immediately I knew the chocolate was going to be amazing. It did not disappoint!!! The combinations are special and feel unique to the area. There was a very sweet woman working at the check out who gave us free samples. The whole experience was lovely and the chocolate and gifts I bought were 100% worth the price. Highly recommend a visit!

This chocolate shop is the best shop in Salem. My mom and I stopped by here on our last day exploring the town and when we found the shop, we were immediately greeted. Customer service was fantastic! I've seen reviews saying that the chocolate was expensive, it is but you get what you pay for. To me, this chocolate is better than any candy bar you will buy at a gas station.

I tried one of their Gather chocolates (coconut) and it had a wonderful taste of coconut, yummy but not overpowering. Individual pieces are sold out of a display case for $1.95 each, which is a fantastic way to try all kinds of their chocolates. I've also never been a caramel/toffee person but their sloops are fantastic. They remind me of Almond Roca if Almond Roca was actually good. The ladies working the store when I went offered us samples (delicious) and were very helpful.

Sampled some chocolate before buying. You can see the factory in the making. Clean and neat location. Staff was helpful to share some knowledge about local places where to eat. I guess my partner was so happy to be here that after visiting the restroom, she thinks she left the souvenir chocolates she purchased there. A man came in and shared his choice of getting chocolates instead of flowers. Overall enjoyed to be here.

Another Salem gem. Place is well off the beaten patch - more chocolate factory than retail space - but quality is excellent. Sweet sloops are the best.

I eat sweets rarely and I received a gift of Harbour Sweets chocolate. I will tell you, the dark chocolate is the best chocolate I have ever and I mean ever had in my life! It is like taking the most delicious hot chocolate you have ever had and putting it in a chocolate bar form. SO AMAZING!!

Very good quality chocolate, rich and fresh, not overly sweet; the dark chocolate has the right consistency, pecans are fresh, caramel and toffee inside the chocolate are amazing! They have a factory right behind the store, you can see all the equipments through glass windows. A place I would stop by for afternoon sweets and shop for holiday presents

The Harbor Sweet chocolates are amazing, especially the sweet sloops. They were having an open house holiday event when I last went, so it was a bit crazy. Overall, it was still positive as I got to sample a few lines of chocolates. The space is small and gets crowded easily, but you obviously get a better selection than finding their stuff in other shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, even as the place stayed crowded. It's pricier than the bigger names in chocolate, but worth it.
