La Chicana Cafe

The lady who helped us was so kind. The food was delightful! I asked for a verde type sauce and she brought out a dish with a Guatemalan sauce. It was so fresh and light with so much flavor and was spicy! The kids loved their meals as well. We enjoyed the murals they painted on the wall and new options to try! We will definitely be returning often!

I had a very tasty taco salad. Linda had beef tacos and said we need to here more often. We finished by sharing fried ice cream. We should have ordered two. It was so good. Great meal for a very reasonable price.

My mom and I had lunch here yesterday. It was such a nice, clean, friendly place. I asked what meatless dishes they had and they said anything could be made with cheese or beans. I had cheese enchiladas and mom had a crunchy taco. It was delicious.

We were passing through town on a cross-country trip. Before we left our home state, my wife had tried flautas for the first time and wanted to find some while we were on vacation.

I had looked up Mexican restaurants the day before we were to check in to our hotel in Nebraska city, and found la Chicana Café, and was happy to see they had flautas on the menu.

We entered and were greeted by the owner with a terrific smile and fantastic smells in the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.

My wife had the flautas with shredded chicken and I had the Asada tacos. Both meals were delicious and authentic. We are definitely making this a scheduled stop every time we come through this part of the country. Cannot say enough good things about this establishment. Well done!

Have been here a couple of times now and the food has been excellent. A great variety on the menu, and like that they have specials. Will be looking forward to next visit.

The food was so good! Met the owner she’s super sweet! Staff is super friendly and helpful! The entire vibe of the restaurant was amazing. Definitely will be trying it again.
