KG'S Bistro & Ice Cream!

First time here, didn’t know it was here. So I am helping get the word out.
GO GET FOOD HERE, or coffee, or ice cream… whichever you prefer.
I work down the road and now that I know this is here, it is super convenient. Especially on days I forget my lunch.

Owners are nice, staff is nice, no long waits and you can order ahead to pick up!

Help get the word out, this place needs to shine on the map for places to grab grub in Essexville.

PS… Their homemade chip dip is on point!

Zingerman’s and Panera need to look out for this place. I stopped by after seeing the great reviews to pick the family up some sandwiches and a salad. The employee recommended the Plaza cheesesteak and Wild Bills chicken club. Your choice of sides are pasta salad, coleslaw or chips. I went with the pasta salad. I chose the chef salad that is enough for two people for two meals. Everything was excellent. I can’t wait to come back and try their large selection of ice cream creation’s.

Located in the Hampton Plaza. Clean and quant inside with a few flat top tables. Shared restroom with Excited Goat Coffee. Competitive prices. Unsure on WiFi. Made to order food with friendly service. I will definitely be coming back.

Small storefront in the Hampton Plaza. You have to look for it to find it. Well worth looking. Only went for ice cream, was glad I did.
Personable staff and good food are always a good combination.
3 sundaes were about $25. Good size, but not huge were excellent.
This is what the neighborhood needs.

I stopped in on my break for lunch and was greeted with a smile. The vegan black bean wrap was great! It came with a drink, pickle, and chips with a home made dip. Can’t wait to try more. This is exactly what people who work in the area needed.

I had been seeing them on Facebook and wanted to try them out. The hubby and I were headed to Bay City, so I thought we'd go a little further to try them out. Let me start by saying that the staff is amazing. Extremely friendly and very helpful. They make sure you have a good experience there. Hubby got a half salad and soup, and I got a half sandwich and soup. The portions were well worth the money and more than what I expected. My only complaint, and I truly mean no disrespect, because I really enjoyed the whole experience. But, I can't remember what my sandwich was called, something like "where's the beefster," I think. But it was roast beef and cheddar on jalapeno cheddar bread. On the menu, there is no mention that it has a horseradish sauce on it. Horseradish is an acquired taste, so I wish it would have said that was on there. I had to scrape some of it off because it was very strong. The sandwich was still good. It's just my suggestion to let people know that sauce is on there. I appreciate everything you guys do.

Cute little lunch spot - the portions were large and made to order. I tried the chicken salad wrap with the chip dip side. The prices were reasonable, and I thought it was nice to be able to walk through the hallway to the Excited Goat Coffee Shop. Definitely will be back to try other menu items!

I have not had a bad item yet! Everything has been amazing, from quality to quantity! Working across the street is an amazing perk also! Great job guys keep up the good work! The white cheddar Mac and cheese with pulled pork is amazing!

I have been to KG’s Bistro countless times and enjoyed the wonderful food and great service.

Kyle and his staff are understanding my food sensitivities with gluten and cheese. They go above and beyond taking care of my wrap orders. The Kevin’s Club is my favorite.

The sandwich, wrap and salad menu offers a wide variety of tasty and fresh ingredients. I would recommend stopping at this little bistro to anyone looking for a very good food and great service.

Great lunch spot😁. Chip dip is so good and like the ruffles with them. Could benefit from a kids menu, but amazing service. The employees act like they are happy you came in!!!

Food is always delishes. The use of fresh vegetables never disappoints. The Dole flavors are always on point. The service is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is delightful and clean. Go get you something they have salads, soups, wraps,
grilled sandwiches and different waffle type items. Soft serve ice creams and homemade malts and banana splits.

KG’s is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is made fresh and tastes great! Their soups are delicious and hot and perfect for a chilly day. My fave is the tomato basil. Not only do they have great food but they have great service also!

Great food. Fresh & yummy every time. Friendly service & atmosphere. I love to call ahead and then pickup my order when I’m in a hurry. We go at least once a week! Highly recommend! 😊

When I stopped in with a friend of mine, there was a school supply drive going on. We donated items, had some ice cream, and I met the owner. It was obvious to me as a visitor to the city just how much Kyle cares about his community and is a genuine, kind person in my interactions with him. Both the staff and ice cream were great! I heard nothing but good things about a lot of items on the menu and look forward to my next visit. 😊

KG's Bistro is a fantastic place to get some great soups, sandwiches and salads. The menu keeps growing and I'm on a quest to try everything! Now they have ice cream too. One of our favorites spots, keep up the amazing work!!

I have gotten food and ice cream from here!! Every time I purchase from this restaurant I am greeted with a smile, and helped in a timely manner. Food quality is supreme and ice cream add the finishing touch perfectly. Great place to have locally!

My fiancé and I love KG’s! The service is quick, the food (ice cream especially) is delicious, and their staff is genuine and enjoy creating a great experience while you are there. I’m never disappointed with their recommendations and they offer a variety of options on their menu and are incredibly patient with picky eaters (like myself) who like to tailor my sandwich to my liking. Thanks KG’s!

A favorite spot for my son and I. If he is having a bad day, we get KG’s- if he is having a good day-we get KG’s. His last day of summer lunch, had to be KG’s. Very nice people, always have a smile and great is like old friends. The food is top notch and one of the few ways my picky 12 year old will eat any kind of vegetables!

Place was packed when I walked in and I know why! Sandwiches were delicious! For a extra .50 get the homemade chip dip, it was phenomenal! Soups were awesome! Quality of food was excellent. Skip Subway (Lot was empty when I passed by) and give KG'S a try! I will be coming back!
