OK, I have eaten at a lot of Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi bars. This is the best one yet. Awesome is what I say. It is in Tulsa OK. and it is worth the drive. The Sushi is very fresh and very tasteful. Yes it is best to a car lot, so you know it has to be great!!

I loved it! The food was really good. Of the three hibachi Steak House's I have been to in Tulsa, I would say this is overall my favorite. I will have to try the newer one down on Memorial for comparison.

The food - I had the (Teriyaki) Steak, not the regular steak or filet, added chicken with Fried rice and all the fixins'. The steak was a smidgen undercooked, but it was also the last thing to make it off the grill other than the chicken, so I can't fault the guy. The chicken was awesome.....so good. The veggies were great. The noodles were like a 4.5, only because I thought they were lacking something. I'm not sure what, though. Food is overall 5 star for sure!

Service - It was good! The server girl was slammed, so I could not hold it against her. She kept up and my drink was full, that's all I can ask for.

Atmosphere - I liked the decorations, the seating was a little too close to each other, but not horrible. My only problem with the place was it is in need of some repairs on the inside. Maybe some deep cleaning, but that's just my restaurant management life talking. What mattered was clean. The hood vents, grills, food carts etc were all nice and clean. The hood vents were shining! Juat some paint, ceiling tiles, etc that needs some love.

100% recommend though! Best hibachi fried rice I have tried so far, the teriyaki steak was a nice change and the chicken was bomb. The only thing I liked better at the other guys was the ginger dressing. It was great here, but the other one has them in that regard.

The food was fun. I went with my wife and brother and sister in law and a nephew. The nephew is 4 and the chef did an amazing job of keeping a 4 year olds attention. Truly an inspiration. Thank you

It is a nice place with friendly staff who are very patient and don't rush you. A reservation is best but isn't necessary if you aren't wanting to sit with a crowd, which is recommended with younger kids unless they like the action. If you don't want to sit in the loud area with the live cooking, there is a secondary room off to the side that is for quiet dining and still looks great. The walls are decorated with grayscale painting and they have a few interesting looking statues. These sushi rolls are priced very fairly, averaging around $1 per piece. Some of the more simple veggie rolls are only a few dollars too (less than $0.50 per piece).

I got to see the grills where the chefs do the cooking. They are arranged in a rectangular "C" shape, with the grills at the two ends and the center open for the chefs to work. They briefly shut off the overhead lighting when they are going to do a flare up so that it looks more spectacular. I got a nice photo of an orange flame later in the less busy part of the night. The entire restaurant is decorated with a nice blue lighting along the walls and this completely fits the atmosphere. And some of my food photos, there are specs of glowing blue because the light reflection off of the glaze was coming from the walls rather than the ceiling. Ceiling lights are a nice warm light and not too bright but not too dark either. We can't wait to go back.

Great staff, the chefs are great & really funny. Food taste absolutely amazing. The fire can get pretty large & extremely close & hot, but the experience is great. Great place to take the entire family. The wait time can get pretty long for the hibachi area, but if you are just eating sushi, the wait time is just a minute or 2. Pretty pricey place, but you get what you pay for. I love bringing the wife on sushi dates here, especially when the lights are dimmed. Some of the best sushi in Tulsa, hands down.

Great experience. The food was seasoned. Friendly staff. We were able to make reservations for Mother's Day. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are reasonable. Food was delicious.

Overall great experience, no wait whatsoever. Food was hot and the chef even did a new trick that we haven't seen before (not our first hibachi experience) so that was excellent to experience. Even got free ice cream after our meal. Great food, great service. 👍🏼

Lovely place and friendly service. Had Minso Soup, hotpot sticks, Lobster & fried rice, steak & fried rice with veggies, rice wine...have some a ton of videos of the cooking method. Food was a bit salty though that was cooked on grill.

Enjoyable experience, I had never been before when a friend took me for dinner. Let me say if anyone hasn't at least once in your Life eaten at a Tokyo Garden you need to. From the time walking in the door til walking out, friendly staff, chiefs are friendly and involve patrons opinions then the show you'll love it, ended with ice cream so parents I saw will enjoy as well. I'm for sure taking mine soon.

Very delicious! Service was alright. The chef had a good show. No yum yum sauce and only ginger dressing for the salad. Small portions and they have a bar but you can't sit at it because there are no stools. All in all I liked it. Might have to go to their sushi bar next time.

I use to work here many decades ago under a different owner. They have renovated, and the ambience is really nice. The bathroom needs a little sprucing up, but I enjoyed my meal here quite a lot. It was very delicious and very friendly staff. I didn’t enjoy that the server immediately brought to-go boxes and the bill right after the hibachi chef cleaned up/left the table. I almost felt rushed to hurry up and eat, even though there were multiple tables left. I thought the food was very delicious though. The soup and salad is a smaller portion size, and I thought it would have been nice to have tomato and cucumber in the salad (it was just lettuce with shredded carrots in ginger sauce). The mustard sauce was awesome. Nice touch with the complementary rainbow gelato.

Great food. Entertaining cheff, kind staff. It was a great place for my girlfriend to take me for my birthday, I had never been there before. Tried a bottle of cold sake for the first time and it was ok, got a good buzz though. The long island ice tee was good as well. Place is very clean. Parking is kind of tight. Would definitely recommend.

The food is really good and the staff are nice. The building really needs to be deep cleaned. Lots of dusty cobwebs. Very busy on a Friday night so make a reservation or be prepared to wait. It’s also pretty noisy. Kids love the volcano onion.

Tokyo Garden is one of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. My family and I have been eating there for years. We go for any birthday or other celebration. We always sit at the hibachi table and order hibachi. They put on a show for you with the way they cook the food on the hot table. We also order sushi and always get the Oklahoman and the Dragon. The owner (I think is the owner) is always there to welcome you and seat you to your table. There is always plenty of food so I always wind up with leftovers for the next day. Family friendly, delicious, and entertaining. Bonus: you get ice cream with your hibachi meal!!!!!

We celebrated a birthday with the family, including an 18 month old great grandson. I think he enjoyed the visual spectacle more than anybody
