Excellent service, a fantastic place to spend a Saturday watching the horses walk by. It’s a little confusing trying to find the place… In the words of my 11-year-old, “Are we walking through a hospital?“ 😂 Absolute best prices for breakfast you’ll find in King County.

Our family loves this place. It is under new management so a lot has changed. No toy room for the kids anymore so that was very disappointing for them, but the food is good and it is about the only place all four of us can eat for around $50. The staff is very friendly 😊

This place is amazing, loved there food, was like the old style mom and pop shops, you get plenty of food and the price is right to, amazing food and lots of options

Great breakfast at a great price. The steak and eggs is a diner classic, they never disappoint.

The food was great. I loved the chicken fried steak. perfectly crispy. delicious homemade jelly and hot sauce. lots and lots of options for baked goods, snacks, and drinks
The only reason I rate the service and atmosphere as a 4 is because when I first walked in I was given judgemental looks from 2 of the employees. I don't know if its because I have tattoos and piercings and it looked like their customers were mostly older folks? but it made me feel a little unwelcome at first

Quarter Chute is too much fun. Good food in family atmosphere and you can watch the horses train! The staff is friendly, like amazingly friendly….truly happy to see you. We had a group of 11 and it was no problem. Highly recommended!

I go here with my dad every weekend for breakfast, and never ONCE has the service been poor. Everyone who works there is so genuinely kind. Their food is also absolutely amazing and consistent. Being able to watch the horses go off to practice adds to the already amazing horse racing atmosphere that is present through the entire cafe.

Diamond in the rough! very great selection for breakfast and lunch and their prices are fantastic! It’s like a school lunch vibe with trays and you just move along a countertop grabbing drinks and such. But it’s right in line with the race track so the horses walk by for training and what not so you got scenery.

This is Auburn's best kept secret. On your way to the cafe you'll see sandwich board signs claiming "Best breakfast in Auburn" and they're not kidding. If you want the quintessential American breakfast for a competitive price this is the place. The food is great, the employees treat you like family even if it's your first time... it's just a good experience.

Great food and plenty of seating. Love going with my elderly parents since they have been going here for years. So glad to see the Quarter Chute still open after all these years.

So this is at the Emerald Downs. I put four stars for atmosphere only because the restaurant itself does not have any kind of atmosphere to speak of however you can see the nice horses go by as you're eating which is great LOL if you like that kind of thing. THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT!!! I had an omelet with toast and something else I don't remember but it was above and beyond!!! My friend just had pancakes but they were excellent also. My mouth is literally watering right now! You basically Serve Yourself but I still put five stars for service because they were so nice, ( the owner and the daughters ). I can't wait to go back and try other things on their menu like burgers or something cuz whatever they make must be spectacular even if it's regular old food like a burger. Slightly spendy but well worth it, go there!! It's not open all year round it's seasonal for when the horse racing is open so be sure to get there before it closes for the season. I don't know when that is lol. Have a great day!

Wonderful Cafe I've never been disappointed

Great local business supporting important industries in our area. The atmosphere is very casual, and the young ones love watching the horses go from paddock to the track for workouts.

Hands down the best place to go for breakfast. The chicken fried steak is my favorite and the quarter Chute omelette is a very close second. The staff are always smiling and so kind. Love Sally and Joe, his homemade cookies always make the best appetizer to my breakfast.
