Wow! This place is spectacular, the menu is super creative and the flavors are on point. They’ve got a full bar with a great selection of specialty cocktails that accompany their awesome food perfectly. The people are great and the vibe is chill. Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time, we’ll be back for sure!

Wow! this is the best restaurant in Grand Rapids, hands down! I'm slowly working my way through the menu and have so many favorites. Today I tried the Dope One with an oat lavender latte. The vibes (music, environment, menu) are immaculate and the staff is next level. Ellie the host was incredibly friendly and Jesper, my server, was just as wonderful. 10/10 service. She had great recommendations and made sure my drinks were always topped off. There's so much fun decor to gawk at and the bathrooms are stunning. There are so many details and small touches that truly elevate the experience. Funky fresh and downright delicious. Can't wait to come back, Love Me Tender (a sweet AND savory combo with banana and bacon) is next on my list. Great job misfit team!

Awesome place! Waffles were delicious as was the coffee. It was really difficult to decide what to get so my husband and I split a savory and a sweet waffle. The sticky bun latte was so good! And everything waffle...🤤

After following Social Misfits on social media for a hot minute and having pretty high expectations, those expectations were more than met. We were blown away by the fabulous coffee and delicious and inventive waffle menu. The interior feels classy without feeling stuffy, and the staff was competent and quick. We both went for the waffles (RBG and Love Me Tender) and were delighted by the unique flavor combinations. We will be back and highly recommend stopping in!

I had the most incredible food here I have had ever!!! Every bite an absolute treat. We started with the Love me tender. Then I cannot recommend the Cubanesque enough. The flavors of this sandwich are amazing. Terrific service!!!

The diverse menu, blending flavors in unexpected ways, keeps me coming back for more. The staff's warm and attentive service enhances the overall dining experience. The energetic atmosphere is perfect for a social night out, but it might be a tad too loud for those looking for a more relaxed setting. If you're up for culinary adventures and a lively vibe, Social Misfits won't disappoint.

The higher than average prices (but fair for downtown) are completely worth it. You're not overpaying for what you get.
As the name subtly indicates, the staff are all great, friendly & accommodating.

*Smaller items like Hummus & veggie sticks, Hot Cocoa, etc. hit it out of the park as well.
*As for Chicken & Waffles, I've tried it at a few different place around the US, to include the South. Never was impressed with a chicken slapped on top of a regular waffle. Not only did this place finally make me like the dish, but I want it again. Especially knowing the chicken isn't dry, and the paired waffle is delicious.

Can’t go wrong with the Peter Parker… waffles but make it churros 😋 I’m a coffee/tea lover and really enjoyed the Espresso Martini and the Chai spin on the White Russian. Gluten free and vegetarian options available. Excellent food and quirky, fun service!

I got the dilla drink, not sure what to expect, and it was excellent! I loved the cool decor here. So much to look at. The bartender was so sweet and a pleasure to chat with. We had reservations somewhere else otherwise I definitely would have liked to try the waffles. The looked amazing!

What a gem! Perfect brunch spot that allows you to explore savory and sweet options! Adult version of playing with your food and it all taste amazing! Started off with a Spicy Mocha and Espresso Martini (Not pictured) it was a sweet start to kick off our meals.

We decided to explore the savory Hashtag waffle which was a great blend of flavors and perfect amount of spice.

Next was Ol’blue eyes with blueberries, lemon curd, and whipped Ricotta. We couldn’t stop eating this! More lemon curd sauce pleeease!

Environment is photo worthy, very unique and fun.

Delicious! We will be back. Great setting/atmosphere, friendly servers, good selection of interesting menu items. We got The Hashtag and Ol’ Blue Eyes waffles and both were very tasty. I highly recommend the White Russian—their take on this classic is stellar.

Very fun vibe! A little noisy but that only goes to show how popular it is! I had some of the best coffee I've ever had, and by far the best waffle. Big fan of the personality of the employees also!

The atmosphere was decent. Wish seating was more spread out, but it's a small place.
The food was pretty decent. Peter Parker is EXTREMELY sweet, I almost threw up from the sugar rush. Mimosas were on point. The friend chicken could've been a lot more tender and a little less seasoned as it was pretty salty.

Other than that, I'd go back.

The best waffles. I got a ramen waffle, he got chicken and waffles, and they were both out of this world. Drinks were awesome too! Highly recommend visiting for the atmosphere & food!

Stopped here on a whim with family and we all loved it. Staff was happy and friendly, all the mixed drinks were sooo good and the food was fantastic. I got the warm drink with tea called GR Fog. It was so tasty, but I think I would have liked with a smaller portion or a little less lavender. I also got the lavender, lemon soda which was lovely. For my main course I got the Greens Salad, which was so bright, both in color and in taste. My husband got the grilled cheese, which may have been the best we’ve ever tasted. I wish I lived closer, as this place would be on our regular rotation.

My wife and I made our first visit to Social Misfits for brunch with some friends. None of us had been here and we were very impressed with the entire experience! The craft cocktails were very good and well presented, the food was on another level and delicious, and the restaurant atmosphere was very cool!

We both started with some craft cocktails and I can say I really enjoyed the White Russian! It reminded me of fall in a glass! My wife ordered the Eclipse and it went down faster than I could say my drink!!!! Must have been good!

For food I ordered the Rocket with added fried chicken and I also ordered the Ol’ Blue Eyes! The Rocket was sooooo good with all the arugula, sweet potato, and the fried chicken was the perfect addition! The chicken was so juicy and tasteful it was insane! The Ol’ Blue Eyes was not very sweet and the opposite I thought it was going to be. It was very delicious though and I’m glad it wasn’t very sweet!
My wife ordered the Little Lad Waffle! She loved the fresh fruits! The waffle was so soft and fluffy!

Everything was great! We will be back for more!

My best friend and I live a few hours away from each other and decided to come here to catch up. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for this occasion and our server was incredibly friendly which just added to the fun.

The drinks were amazing. I got the white russian and my friend got the dilly dilly. Two very different styles - but we were both extremely pleased.

I love waffles and this place definitely didn't disappoint. I went with the Peter Parker, which is sweet, and my friend went with a savory option. Again, we got very different things and both loved what we got.

In summary, everything was fantastic. It exceeded our expectations and couldn't have been better. I'd definitely come back here again!

I love the warm and welcoming vibe of Misfits. Service was timely, and the team was friendly. I ordered the Espresso martini and Teen Spirit waffle with added fried chicken. My food and drink were delightful. The waffles are plentiful and could be shared. I took half of mine in a to-go box to enjoy later. The cocktails are a little spendy, in my opinion. However, I enjoyed it. A bit of unexpected entertainment completed my dining experience. I will definitely return and explore more of their menu. I arrived close to 5:30 pm, and it wasn't busy at all. It started to get busy shortly after 6 pm.

It is a fun place with tasty, unique drinks and food. They specialize in waffles, which are buttermilk light and fluffy. There are also creative salads and sandwiches. I had the Cubanesk sandwich with tasty pork and a tasty sauce inside. My friend had the Country Grammer waffle with fried chicken and said the chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. My other friend had the grilled cheese, which was covered on the outside with fried cheese and a cheese dip for the chips, which was very yummy. The bar mix is homemade and super tasty.

We were visited multiple times by multiple people checking on us and there is a code on the check for online payment. Annie makes the best cocktails. The best time to go is after 1 pm and parking in the Van Andel lot works well and which is a short walk. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and it's right by the police station, so you might catch a SWAT team prepping to catch fugitives. Two bathrooms are unisex and clean with "occupied" door locks. They request that you do not sniff coke in the bathrooms.
