Kim's Place Cafe

Great place to go for lunch or dinner. Their staff is always friendly and courteous. Plenty of home made options at reasonable prices. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to give them a try.

Shout-out to Kim's Place for the exceptional service and food! Sooo accommodating. We called day of to ask whether they could accommodate a collegiate athletic team of 23 for dinner. Not only were they willing to help, they reserved an entire room for us along with providing two (2) beyond amazing waitresses. The food arrived hot, freshly made, and was beyond delicious. If you haven't been to Kim's Place you are missing out!!! Kim's Place is a Mom and Pop style Cafe offering home style cooking. The menu offered plenty of meal options from appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, seafood to desserts. To top it off, the owner even donated 2 dozen donuts to our athletes from Kim's Other Place. Needless to say, Kim's Place is now our go to anytime we're in town. Definitely 5+ stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We were traveling from St. Louis to Detroit. We got hungry and decided to try something local. We found a diamond in the rough! It's called Kim's Place. The owner gave us donuts and extra drink refills to go! The chili was like my grandmother made it! The steak was seasoned to perfection! I could see it was well liked by the regulars, because the staff knew them by name! If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend it! 👌

The wheelchair,ridden by the deafblind person was able to get into the building with the assistance of 2 others. The owner met another deafblind fellow and made an effort to communicate. 😊
The restroom were accessible.
The rye bread was especially yummy.

We went here on a Friday night. They have the most delicious buffet! Several kinds of fish, chicken, salad bar and potatoes. It's on one of the side streets off the town square. My husband and I had the buffet, his brother had roast beef with potatoes and gravy, and brother and sister in law had just the catfish dinner, and roast beef with potatoes and gravy. The employees are so nice and friendly.

Sweetest lady at the register...my food is always fresh and the wait is never long!!! Best hamburger horseshoe in town.❤✨

Googled for a “greasy spoon” because we didn’t want a chain. So pleasantly surprised to find this little place. The atmosphere is wonderful. Quiet and inviting. Then the food. I got a hamburger horseshoe and just wow. The cheese was out of this world and the hamburger as amazing. The salad bar was awesome and fresh. She got a roast beef with baked potato and side salad. All I heard from her was yummy. The service was top notch as well. The waitress was amazing and took care of the entire place and was attentive to everyone. Very nice. We will be coming back again.

Kim's has cat fish strips everyday and that's what I order, but Sunday their buffet was two kinds of beans, potatoes, and meat along with gravy and I told them they need variety in their buffet. That didn't go over very well with the gentleman that was taking our money

First time here. Hamburger was very good as well as the sweet potatoes fries. Blackberry cobbler was outstanding! My favorite pie.

This is an amazing place to eat! Near, clean and family friendly! Our go to stop in Jacksonville! Highly recommend!
