Beautiful Pakistani coffee and tea house. The pots of tea come with a candle to keep it warm. The chai was a perfect blend of spices with some sweetness. Samosas were also very good, freshly made, and came with great sauces too. Lovely place to work or study!

My sister recommended this spot since I was feeling for some good chai and visiting from Texas. Parking was a bit difficult but it was worth the experience. It’s a cute decent size place with nice ramadan decorations and kept nice and clean. I got there before the after iftaar rush of lines came in lol. Order the pot of hot chai and rasmali tres leche cake. The pot of chai came in a cute tea pot with a candle lit under with two small
Cute glass cups. The taste was a nice fresh masala chai which I enjoyed very much. The tres leche rasmali was such a big portion but very yummy in my tummy but couldn’t finish it cause I was filled up from the chai which was a good size for two people :) really enjoyed the decor and very good customer service everything was on time ! Highly recommend and will be back again:)

I’m obsessed with their chai and tres leches cake. It’s better to go during mornings but if you go in the evenings, you can still find a spot to sit. It just gets packed because of the college students.

Even though Khyber was a little busy when I visited, the atmosphere and service were both fantastic. The manner the tea was served really captivated me and enhanced the whole experience. It's worth a visit if you can get over the small issues because of the excellent service, atmosphere, and inventive tea presentation. Without a doubt, my buddies and I will return there!

Great little spot. The combination of the hot tea, lofi beats, and the rain outside led to quite the atmosphere and vibe. I tasted the chai as well, and it had a very authentic and hearty flavor, it was quality. The roll up omelette was super tasty, great flavor combo. Cookie to finish it up was a great lightly sweet snack to finish it off. Definitely will be coming back here.

Just found this place recently through my friends and totally loved it, especially the hot chai pot. 😁 Very cute place, amazing interiors and overall atmosphere. Parking can be tricky sometimes but there are garages near by in case you don’t find a parking spot on the street.

My family and I were visiting from Milwaukee and so excited to try Khyber. My husband and I had pastrami sandwiches, chai, and tres leche which were each super delicious! Our ten-month-old who is baby-led weaning enjoyed munching on a chicken patty. We loved it so much that we wanted to stop by once more before our trip ended. We got pastrami sandwiches again and this time I tried a toasted marshmallow latte with oat milk and brownie sundae for dessert. Everything was perfectly prepared, owners and staff were wonderfully welcoming and hospitable, and the decor inside was cozy and beautiful. We definitely plan to make it a regular stop for us anytime we’re in New Jersey! We wish the owners many blessings and success on their journey to bring this inspiring space with nostalgic drinks and comfort foods to the area!

Happy there’s a legit halal cafe option for NJ folks!

I had their pastirma on croissant and decaf iced coffee, def recommend. I also had the saffron-cardamom tea for the first time, it was lovely. My friends got the andaparatha, beef patties and egg&cheese on croissant which they enjoyed as well. I tried their iced chai - great strong flavor.

The vibes feel good, love the Pak-Afghan aesthetic. Friendly service.

Also, the restroom is a beaut fyi!

Will come again!

I had recently found this place on Instagram. I forgot who shared it but I automatically knew I had to go. My friend Cynthia and I drove about an hour just to go and try it out!

From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we ordered the staff was super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. Haarris and Zainub ( hopefully I didn’t spell their names wrong!) were so personable and cool!

We ordered about $46 dollars worth of drinks and food. I’m not a chai tea person but their chai tea was so good! The beef Patties were so flaky and tasty! My favorite was the Afghan cream rolls, it was so light and the right amount of creamy and sweet! They also had a high chair for my baby, so if you want to bring your baby- kid.

We also got the mango peach and dragonfruit lychee refreshers to-go. It definitely was refreshing and different. We will definitely be back!

Also the aesthetic and bathroom ambiance matched the food as well!

I got the Beef pattie, Pastrami Crossiant and Iced Peach Tea.

The chutneys and pastrami was my favorite, good chunks of meat and ample cheese to the point you can smell it lol

It's a great place for tasty small portions dishes.

Food and tea is amazing. This is the best chai I have had outside of Asia. The scenery is pleasant and warm. The music is soft and low and instrumental to not take away from conversations and thought processes. This is a great place to work, study and just talk. This is my favorite chai spot supplanting qawah house and chai chenak. Highly recommended spot you will be doing a disservice if you don't try it out

I absolutely loved my time at Khyber. If you just want a place to study or just catch up with a friend. Or just need a delicious chai tea or coffee. This is a must try place. I tried the chicken patty and absolutely loved. They also have a lactose free option for all my lactose peeps. Vibes are elite and chill.

Cant speak highly enough about this spot. The food is always sooo good. I dream about trying the pastirma sandwich for the first time again. Seriously 10/10. Same with their cream roll. We’ve also tried the refreshers, latte, chai. The service here is also phenomenal! We <3 Khyber!

Wish I knew about this place before!
Drizzly eve, Sound of Arijit Singh, garam chai and just good vibes!!

Went there on a sat eve (oddly we weren't in the mood for alcohol🤭). Lucky for us, found such a quaint little spot, awesome service, friendly staff, quick bites, teas, coffees, and cherry on top....Arijit songs playing in the background. Completing nostalgia with "cutting" chai glasses (iykyk), ordered anda paratha as a quick bite and didn't realize how 2 hours went by!

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Can not recommend this place enough!
The atmosphere is cozy and the service is amazing. Ali greeted everyone as they came in , offered helpful suggestions and made an amazing latte. The Chai is made fresh for every order and is available by cup or pot. The tres Leche was also perfectly made. Overall a great place and would highly recommend.

Stopped in for a kashmir Chai and breakfast sandwich (egga and cheese on a croissant). Both were great! When I'm in the area I will be back!

Khyber is a fantastic new coffee and chai spot that I highly recommend. The cozy ambiance, diverse selection, and exceptional coffee make it a must-visit for beverage enthusiasts. Plus, their commitment to customer service is top notch! I have had the iced chai multiple times already and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly highly recommend this place!

Literally the best coffeeshop ever. The bathroom is beautiful and the food is great. I’ve gotten their egg and cheese croissant and pastrami croissant numerous times as well as a pot of chai and iced pistachio oat latte. Amazing. Also love studying here, plenty of outlets and free wifi. Thank you so much for creating this space.

Khyber is so cozy and the atmosphere is very warm. I’ve come here 5 times within the past month, and each time I’ve stayed for over an hour or two. It’s a great place to chill with friends, do homework, etc. Their hot chai is delicious and the cold brew with cold foam is a must-try.

Great late night vibe! Friendly atmosphere full of great energy. The service here was quick and awesome. It always smells so good in here like traditional Arabic coffee. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
