Loose Loona Gifts and Teahouse

My friend and I couldn’t get enough of this place. We stopped in for brunch on a rainy Vermont Saturday and everything was beyond perfect! We were the first ones in which is why it looks empty..but by the end of our 2 hours there, a lot more people were coming in and out. They have over 80 teas on the menu, flatbreads, soup, cookies, loose tea for sale, and a gift shop. The owners are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, steering us to delicious tea. The entire experience was so relaxing, the food was perfect, and just what 2 overworked women needed. Such an asset to Rutland. Let’s keep them here!

This is a fantastic addition to downtown Rutland. So many teas to choose from, and lots of small bites too, both sweet and savory. Loved the seasonal Nutcracker tea. Also have lots of gifts and small trinkets to choose from. All that in a beautiful space with friendly service! 10/10 recommended!

Loose Loona was amazing! We shared 4 double tea pots, soups, flatbread and an assortment of crostinis, small bites and pastries. Every single thing was delicious! The vibe and service was wonderful! We also enjoyed the small shop and each made a purchase. Will be back again!!

Recently went into Loose Loona looking for a gift for a tea lover. I was not disappointed! Large selection of prepackaged loose teas that are well labeled and an even larger gift area in the back of their shop. Friendly service and beautiful gift wrapping. Not to mention the GORGEOUS interior of the shop! I will definitely be returning for gifts and plan to come back to try their cafe offerings.

I love this little place. Everything I have tried has been delicious. The food is fresh. The tea selection is huge. I could spend so much money in the little shopping corner. Definitely worth a try if you're any sort of tea drinker

If I could I would give them 10 stars across the board. Delightful experience. The staff was great! So many great tea choices, tasty bites and excellent homemade soups. Excellent gift shop full of hand crafted items. This was my 2nd visit and I plan on making many more visits. Loose Loona is a great addition to downtown Rutland!

It was nothing but “thumbs up” from our group of Japanese students from VTSU- Castleton during our recent visit to Loose Loona. Michelle and Don’s warmth and generosity, along with their delicious teas and snacks, are reason enough to seek out downtown Rutland’s newest little gem.

Very knowledgeable and great customer service. Don is very outgoing and great company. If you have any questions he will answer with great detail. Absolute pleasure and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

What a lovely addition to downtown Rutland! The tea room experience is lovely, teas are delicious and the food is even more delicious. The gift shop has a great selection for any lover of tea and cozy related items young and old. Staff are sweet and helpful.
