I had great time with my friends here. We like their decorations and the atmosphere and the food is good! I also like their special coffee!

The restaurant charges a 20% extra meal fee to every table!

Beef stew makes a great meal, but the cactus salad is a little size. Of course, it's the best choice if you're on a diet. The cactus salad was refreshing in both texture and taste! (Salad 20.00USD, Stew 30.00USD)

There is no menu as it is a home kitchen where the menu changes all the time, but they are friendly and explain things well. Nice mood!

We joined the mailing list for this amazing cafe, so we can plan to visit because we do not live or work close by. It was worth it. They organized a special dinner open to those on the mailing list. Signing up on a first-come-first-serve basis, the 4-course fixed menu was prepared with love, in keeping with the Valentine's Day season. It was incredible! Gracious, delicious and so worth the trek. Thank you, Tal Palo and Chef "Mama", for a magical experience!

Such a fantastic addition to Downtown Los Altos (DTLA)! Cute little cafe with a gorgeous ambiance. The owner is extremely attentive and has a clear passion for her cafe. I had the Chilaquiles and they were absolutely amazing! The sauce flavors were spot on and the presentation was gorgeous.

It's a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.

The most amazing chilaquiles and soup in a family-owned, thoughtfully curated space. It is as close to a perfect leisurely cafe experience as one can imagine. And while other reviews may note that this is not the least expensive place to eat lunch in Los Altos, the reviews fail to mention the unlimited quantities of heart and quality in the experience. Rooting for this amazing family owned business - 1 year down and hopefully many more to come!

Get ready to enter into a beautifully crafted space, it transports you to a pretty coffe shop in Guadalajara Mexico!
And let me tell you that the food is so simple but yet soooooo exquisite, I will give the chef an standing ovation. Beautiful family running the shop. Purchased a salsa macha for home and I’m delighted! It’s soooooo good

Love this family-owned restaurant and shop! Every dish is made with top quality ingredients and lots of love. The space is beautiful and there is clear intention and detail put into every decision—from logo branding to the serving stoneware.

Friendly service and great food. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I really wish they'd provide a menu with prices though. I know it changes daily, but even a QR code linked to a doc would be a big help.

Walking by and went in to see what they had. I received a friendly greeting and offer of a tour. I decided to stay for lunch. It was their first Saturday opening. It turned out that I was there at closing time but they never let me know or rushed me.

The cafe is charming and the food is very fresh and homemade. Very nice family. I asked about their service charge They pay their employees well and don’t count on tips. Next time I’ll round up the bill and feel good about it.

Thoughtful market-driven cooking, a delightful team, and a space that’s a true oasis in Los Altos. This would be my regular if I lived in the area.

Wonderful new restaurant and small shop in downtown Los Altos. They are in soft-launch mode, so be patient and kind with your helpful feedback. They are open from 10-3 on certain days of the week, so call ahead or check the web. Follow them on Insta @tal_palo to get educated about their mission and all the amazing artists and artisans they are introducing to our community. Adriana and her husband Aaron are doing an amazing job of bringing wonderful flavors, beautiful interiors, and sources of Mexican beauty and culture to Los Altos. The food was top notch and made this Mexican-American Los Altos resident proud and very comfortable as I partook in food and conversation with friends. Adriana is ready to answer questions about the food, the art, and their significance to her. Ask away! There is limited seating, so I would call ahead if you are coming from away. We ate a lot of food, so we spent a little more per person than most people would. We did not order liquor. But keep in mind this food is all hand-prepared with many items requiring time-consuming methods, plus the small size of the operation necessarily means higher cost basis for their supplies, so don't expect cheapened fast food pricing here. But the value of our culinary joy was well worth the bill!!

My company held a small event here, and everything was fantastic.! The owners are very friendly; the food was delicious; and the atmosphere is light and airy. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Authentic Taco Sonora with flour tortillas, made with flour from the Sonora region!
Also highly recommend the hot chocolate.

Food was amazing and made with quality ingredients you can taste and the holiday punch was treat. The space is super nice and the owner is amazing to talk to. Highly recommend.
