Indigo Cafe

A lovely place! I took my mother and we both loved it. Food was delicious on the vegetarian menu!!! They also have vegan cheeses to use. And glutenfree choices. They had a food item change and came out to check and see if that was ok with us. We appreciated that. Waiter was very kind and respectful. We will be back for sure and take some more friends.

I met two friends at Indigo Cafe for lunch and we had the best experience! The booths were comfortable and recessed, so it felt like you had your own little dining room, complete with beautiful throw pillows. The menu was varied and my friends loved the new soup flight with 3 small cups of beef stew, seafood bisque and black bean/tomato soups and a chicken salad sandwich. I enjoyed the vegetarian falafel pita with a side of the delicious seafood bisque soup. Our server was very nice and the manager (maybe owner) was also visiting tables. It was acoustically so much nicer than a previous restaurant in this location. There was pleasant music playing and we had wonderful food and conversation. The chocolate mousse also looked delicious, but we resisted the temptation. There was also a chilled bottle of water for each table.

Friendly, prompt service. Tasty food. Nice ambiance. Glad a restaurant such as this is in Cleveland, TN. Our servers Bailey and Ella were excellent.
We will visit again.

after eating at other local restaurants and reconsidering what Indigo Cafe brings to the table, I believe their prices are fair; so I have removed my statement: "A little bit pricey"

We have eaten at Indigo Cafe a couple of times and have left full and happy each time. We have enjoyed the nibble board and fritter sampler. The bread and crackers are actually cooked daily, we asked because we liked them so much. We loved the beef medallions with the mushroom wellington, its a lot of food. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The pork belly was amazing and melted in your mouth. Oh! The burger was the best we have had in a long time. Our favorite desserts are the chocolate mousse, raspberry brownie with bourbon ice cream, and carrot cake. Heard they now have their liquor license so we can now have a mixed drink with dinner. I do see us going back every couple of weeks, most of the food options in Cleveland suck but we enjoy eating at Indigo Cafe. Keep up the great job!!!

We are in Cleveland to move my youngest daughter to college & wanted to try a local restaurant. We’re big foodies who have eaten in amazing restaurants all over the world & I have to say tonight’s meal at Indigo Cafe ranks among my favorites! Our server, Rachael, was wonderful & the food was AMAZING, fresh & full of flavor. I HIGHLY recommend checking it out. You won’t be disappointed. We can’t wait for our next trip to Cleveland so we can come back & try more dishes!

Last week I went with some friends to try Indigo Cafe and Bar. It was VERY good. Our waitress was amazing, but I didn't catch her name. She recommended the grilled sweet potato and apple sandwich. Not something I would have normally ordered but I'm so glad I did!! It had bourbon bacon on it and blueberry (or maybe blackberry) Dijon. Absolutely Delicious!
Jess got the double smashburger and it was the juiciest burger I've had in a while! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We've been here a few times now, and it's always the best. The food is sooo good. We try something new when we go. Both times, the food was amazing. We had a table of 15 and I didn't hear 1 person complain. Everyone left with happy bellies and smiles on their faces. The service has always been top-notch. The people who work there have always had the best attitudes. The bartender makes really good drinks. They have a nice selection to choose from. The atmosphere is very clean, colorful and relaxing.. We really enjoy eating here. I highly recommend anyone giving it a try..

My wife and I went here with some friends when we couldn’t get a reservation at another place near by, and I am so glad we did. Everything about Indigo Cafe screams 5 stars. The drinks and service were excellent, and the food was delicious. You owe it to yourself to give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend the pan-seared scallops.

We live in Nashville but are in the area for a wedding. I’m so glad we discovered Indigo Cafe this weekend!! The food was absolutely divine including the dessert!! Our server was super sweet and helpful in explaining the entrees if we had questions. Also such a nice but cozy atmosphere!! We hope to be back again when we are near Cleveland!

This is an absolute gem of a find!!! I’m from Nashville and somewhat of a spoiled Foodie. I was in Cleveland for one full day and popped into Indigo. OH. MY. WORD. I hope this town and those in surrounding #Chattanooga know what a gift they have right in front of them. The food is literally perfection. Healthy. So full of flavor. The environment is so relaxing and beautiful. The staff was incredible. We had the opportunity to talk in depth with our server, the owner, and the chef. We fell in love with this incredible restaurant even more after talking with each of them. There is so much heart, soul, and thought poured into the food. We loved the experience so much we have made reservations to return for dinner before we must head back home. Even if this is out of your way, you simply MUST treat yourself to such a well prepared & well thought out dining experience. This Foodie gives it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!! Cleveland, TN, this needs to become an absolute regular to your weekly dining experience! ❤ Well done, Indigo!!

I recently had lunch there and it was really good. The menu uses interesting ingredients that I wouldn't think about pairing. I had the double smash burger. The cherry bacon jam was an excellent touch. It helped to balance the other flavors. The dessert sizes were larger than expected. The prices were a little high for lunch, but it was well worth it. I'll definitely be back.

Came here over the weekend when it was storming. The place was beautiful and the service was excellent. I had the best white sangria I have ever had. I am not a huge fan of any white wines, but this was wonderful. I enjoyed my scallops and we also had the sampler of hummus, white fish, baba ganoush, tapenade…all excellent. Ended the meal with the chocolate mousse. It was decadent! I will definitely be back again. This is a wonderful addition to the Cleveland area.

I moved to Cleveland from Seattle and am a lifelong vegetarian. Finding a variety of fresh healthy vegetarian options was a challenge until Indigo opened. They have a entire vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menu!

I've taken friends who visit from out of state and they've been impressed with the creative and delicious combinations.
Although staffing has been an issue on some occasions, the staff's hospitality and great service has not been. Plus supporting local is always what matters.

The location is fun and when the large garage door is open the vibe reminds me of Walla Walla, WA - another great University town.

We're foodies from New York. Wow so glad we discovered Indigo Cafe during our visit to Cleveland TN. What an amazing new downtown restaurant. We had a great meal and loved the decor & vibe. This will be one of my go-to restaurants when in Cleveland that's for sure!!!

A dozen or so options on the vegetarian menu. We asked for modifications to the gnocchi. Absolutely out of this world! Salads seem generous servings. Dessert: Mixed berry Gallette with vegan ice cream. We usually don't order dessert, but we're glad we did this time. Next time, too.

Indigo Cafe has become our "Go To" place for dining out--all occasions or even without a reason.

Tanner was incredibly sweet and made me a delicious mocktail since I don’t drink alcohol. I’m very appreciative that the bar offers that. The drink was made with fresh muddled fruit and I would 100% recommend it to anyone.
The Ahi tuna appetizer was amazing! The grain salad & ponzu sauce served with it was sooo good. I would choose that as my last meal, it was that good! It was a dish I’ll always remember. ❤

I just had one of the most delicious meals I can remember ever anywhere. And it was vegan! This restaurant not only has an amazing meat based menu, but the vegan menu is just as extensive and gourmet! The food is not only delicious it is beautiful to look at. My new favorite restaurant anywhere!

We had a lovely dinner that everyone in our party enjoyed thoroughly. One of our party is vegetarian and he had lots of options to choose from. The change in decor from the former restaurant is beautiful and creates an exotic atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Love the atmosphere! It is classy yet comfortable enough to feel comfortable in my hoodie, lol. Food was amazing and the service was impeccable! So glad something like this opened in Cleveland. Prices seemed high when looking online but it was so worth it when we all got there! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Pictured is the Beef Medallion Wellington I got! It was delicious! I tried a-little of everything tonight due to the amount of people we went with! Everything was good!
