FM (Fortes Mill) Eatery

We had a wonderful girls night. I’ve had sheep fish for the first time in my life. The combination of the sauce and the fish was outstanding. I really enjoyed it and I feel that I will be craving it from now on. All dishes looked mouthwatering. The service was amazing. It felt like everyone cared about our experience. The waiter Andrew showed his expertise in every single dish and was taking a great care of us. We loved the atmosphere and the food and the service. Definitely will be back again.

Had a great meal! We ordered 5 small plates to share. Here’s what we ordered in order of favorite to least favorite (although we loved all the dishes):
-Diver scallops with pork belly
-Bacon-wrapped dates
-Cheerwine braised beef with cheesy grits
-Pork ribs with peanut slaw
-Fried Brussels sprouts

For dessert, we had the chef special: Biscoff bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream.

Everything was fantastic! Our server was very professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We can’t wait to return to try more dishes.

Parking is in a parking lot behind the restaurant. More spaces open up after 6pm.

Fantastic restaurant in Historic downtown Fort Mill! Try the seafood dishes. Nice bar. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant, street parking, and another lot behind the opposite buildings.

Just dined here for the 2nd time in 2 months and it has become my favorite small plate restaurants in the Charlotte area! The manager Jason was very accommodating after our reservation ran a little late, comped us an exclusive off menu plate that was PHENOMENAL. I will be making a third visit very soon!

Super yummmy!!! Those crab cakes, were literally the best I've ever had!! Thanks sooo much!! Will deff b bk to try more meals!! I remember when that spot was the old 5 and dime when I was little!! I looove what ya'll have done with that spot!!

We've been looking for a new restaurant with great food, atmosphere, and affordable prices in the Fort Mill area. We tried FM Eatery last night and were extremely pleased with everything. We tried seven dishes from an exciting menu including Mushroom & Bacon Toast, Beet Salad, Chicken Fried Oysters, Pork Belly BLT, Lamb Gnocchi, and the BBQ Beef Slider. All dishes were delicious and well presented. Our server (Madison) was friendly and watched out for my daughter's food allergy. The price for our meals and a couple drinks was extremely reasonable. The decor and location in cute downtown Fort Mill was excellent. We look forward to returning to FM Eatery soon.

I have wanted to try this new little restaurant in downtown Fort Mill since they opened, so hubby and I decided to go for our anniversary dinner. We ordered 4 smalls plates and it was perfect! The braised beef with the grits was amazing! We also got the sweet potato tots, chicken and waffles, and the shrimp toast and it was all so great. Drinks were also amazing and the service was great! So happy to have a great place to eat in our little town!

This is really one of our favorite places around Fort Mill. We've been twice for dinner and once for brunch. Brunch was good, but dinner wins for the small and shareable size plates! Fun and creative with dishes that are unique but also recognizable. It does get busy and it can be a bit snug with seating, but the servers do a great job! I'd recommend a reservation.

My Wife & I just visited FM Eatery in downtown Main Street Fort Mill and it was AMAZING. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious. The small plates we felt were a very good size. Friendly staff and management and a place we are excited to have in town. A MUST GO!

We really enjoyed our experience eating at the bar! The service and food was excellent, we enjoyed the BBQ beef sliders, Brussel sprouts, chicken and dumplings and shrimp and grits. The food tastes similar to Flipside Restaurant (from the same group) but has more options and a little more elevated. Would recommend calling ahead to get on the list if you want a table!

The food is fancy and changes so it a nice change. The service is always top notch, I get my drink filled by the bar tender if my own waiter is busy. And the servers usually smiling naturally and laughing. Probably helped by the Excellent music choices. Great atmosphere, makes you want to sit enjoy the atmosphere, have a drink and just hang out.

We met friends here for dinner and drinks. The cocktails were well done. The Morning After martini has just the right amount of sweetness without being too sweet. Each dish had a unique twist and delighted the table.

Small space, but it is a great stop. They have alcohol specials daily. We went on Monday for half off glasses of wine. We originally stopped in to have a glass while we waited for pur Uber to the next spot. The wine, service, and food were so good we stayed for the evening. Russ was our bartender, and he was very welcoming and insightful. I wasn't hungry and looking for food but we shared some small plates and I could have eaten more food if we had time. Amazing place to go.

Absolutely awesome food. All dishes were unique, top notch, and inspired. The avocado toast was beyond incredible and the pork chop was one of the single best meat dishes I’ve ever had. Drinks were also quite good. A bit pricey, but well worth it if you’re looking for a high end dining experience. Will absolutely be returning.

Amazing! Ordered a bunch of small plates and shared with the group. Everything we ate was delicious! Highly recommend. The service was also great. Corey was our server and was awesome! We will be back.

Very innovative contemporary menu with southern flavor and impressive cocktail offerings. Highly recommended for adventurous foodies looking for different kind of "local joint".

This was our first visit. It's a small plates/tapas style place, so we had a bunch of the little plates. This food is out of this world! Everything was fresh and everything was outstanding.

We went for an early dinner and the service and atmosphere was lovely. The drinks and food were overall delicious and we were very pleased! Absolutely check this place out if you haven’t.

My wife and I had a dinner date last night and we were very pleased. The food was absolutely delicious. The Brussel sprouts are a definite must . I highly recommend the sliders . The cheerwine short ribs were melt in your mouth. Everything we ordered was very good. We will be back for sure!
