Fairgrounds Coffee and Tea

Fairgrounds is a cute little corner shop. Located right by Juneau Park and Leif Erickson statue. Has a county fair type theme. Great coffee and fun vibes. They're thoughtful in their drink options and they serve water out of healing Ayurvedic copper mugs! Pick a spot at the couches, tables or countertop... They also have an option to swing if you're so inclined! Really nice employees with good service! Parking can be slightly tougher during the summee festival months.

We visited with a group of five adults and two small children. Everyone had a cozy seat and a place to put their meal. The coffee was up there with the best I've had, the food was delicious, and service was friendly and accommodating. Other guests were equally cordial, sharing space with us despite being there first. There was a good hubbub on a Sunday morning. I really enjoy that energy in a cafe - the nearby buzz of others' friendship and family is comforting.

After looking around the place a bit, the thing that struck me most was how well thought out the space was. In some areas, the ceiling is spray insulated, I'm assuming too deaden noise - but the way it's done blends together really nicely and almost looks like a cave. They use this height to tie in decorative elements and visual interest. It could be a dead space or complete eyesore - but it's just the opposite, for me anyway.

I’ve been to Fairgrounds several times now and always appreciate the quality of their coffees, lattes as well as the variety of menu items. Great place for weekend coffee and breakfast without feeling like you ruined your diet for the day. Small touches like extra tortilla melted together with cheese to keep them from tearing, and a pretty solid salsa show they make the extra effort. Will definitely be back.

Such a cute place with a great vibe! The staff was very pleasant and the coffee was great. They had regular water and sparkling water one tap and the sparkling was actually good! We go the Vietnamese cold brew (recommend) and the sticky chai (very good, but a little weak). Overall very nice and they had swings you could sit on!

First time stopping at Fairgrounds. Breakfast tacos were delicious and the coffee was a great treat. The atmosphere is inviting and service was quick. Will definitely stop in again.

ALWAYS amazing service in there. Julio and the manager have always been nothing but sweet and polite. The cortado never disappoints and the food is excellent! We drive up 2x a week from Kenohsa because everything is THAT good.

I stopped here during my morning walk, and it's nice that they open early. I loved the farmhouse antique decor and the spacious layout of the store.

Perfect relaxing full-service cafe for a lazy morning. Staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Food is very fresh with creative presentation to match. Great coffee - we bought a bag of whole beans to bring home to Utah. Fairgrounds is not trying to be like the big chain.

Did a bike ride to abother coffee shop and stopped here instead. I'm so glad I did! I tired their coffee fairgrounds and came back two days later with a friend to try their coffee flight!! Excellent service, quality coffee, strong wifi, and cool atmosphere

Hands down my favourite place to plop down and work. I can easily spend an entire day here in the blink of an eye. The cafe is always at a comfortable level of busyness, with enough people that you're not self conscious, but not so many people that it's loud. Their music helps prevent any loud conversations from taking place, which is wonderful.

The staff are all incredibly kind and efficient, and are super quick to get anything done.

Nice new shop! Efficient seating, helpful willing staff and pretty quiet. A good spot to have a light breakfast or lunch and enjoy some conversion. Prices are reasonable and they have a large variety of coffee! It's kinda like a taphaus but with coffee. Worth it.

This is the third time I have come in here! I recommended the Lox Platter and Vietnamese Cold Brew. I got two of the cold brews because of how amazing the flavors were.

My daughter and I have been coming here for years. Emma loves to sit up front on the swings, and we always talk with the staff. Vanessa and the crew always remember our names and welcome us before we even reach the countertop! They have been many places in the space over the years, and the reason Fairgrounds works is because of his staff.
They are friendly I don’t need to the customers but to each other. Ive been running and bar and restaurants for 25 years and continue that the most important piece of any business is it people. If they are kind and hospitable, they will draw the same in the customer base. This is exactly what fairgrounds has accomplished. It’s a haven for coffee, lovers and good people.
The crew always have a genuine smile. I moved to the other side of town recently and haven’t been able to make it over as much. My daughter asked me if we can go again. (She’s 9 and loves the vibe!)
She has special allergy needs, and Vanessa always bent over backwards to make sure it was the way she needed it.
In the countless times I’ve been to Fairgrounds I have never once been disappointed by the service or their smiles.

I love this place! Hands down my favorite place to do some work! Awesome soundtrack and the employees are always energetic, Lexie and Bridger are some of my favorites :) Try the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sammie super delish!!

My first time here and I love it! Atmosphere is awesome, coffee is smooth and the people are so nice. This is not just a coffee place it's a rest stop to people watch and enjoy the energy. Big windows, great and varied seating and a Yankee Hill come back program. Come on it, sit a while and enjoy.

Try the mocha :) you won't be disappointed.

Pretty cool place, good coffee

I moved to Milwaukee a year ago and discovered Fairgrounds Coffee shop, which is in my neighborhood. I am there almost everyday and I absolutely love this place. All the folks that work there are friendly and work very hard to make it a great experience. They know my name and remember my favorite drink. I am always happy to go and enjoy time there! Hats off to these young people who make that happen!! Thanks guys!!!
