The Next Chapter Bookstore

A great stop for book lovers! We happened to stop by on a day where the shop had an outdoor sale, what a treat! Kind staff, and it sounds like new things are in store for this shop. Excited to stop by again on our way through town!

Incredibly kind and helpful people! The selection is a bit small (expanding soon), but they were more than willing to order any book that they didn't have in store. Were I not from out of town, I may just have taken them up on that. However, just because their selection was small doesn't mean it was bad. They had most of the hot new books in many genres of the past few years, as well as some more enduring classics. They also had some board games and other bookstore flotsam and jetsam to add some variety.

The store is very clean with good bathrooms and a professional atmosphere.

Finally got around to checking out the new bookstore in town and was pleasantly surprised. For being a small business they have a great selection of books and a cute setup. The lady who helped me was super sweet and told me she could pre order a book for me if I couldn’t find it. (I eventually found the book I was looking for lol) I’ll definitely be coming back and I look forward to watching this cute little bookstore grow and evolve!

I like that they have a great variety of books for all ages! The clerks are incredibly friendly!

Just moved back to hermiston and I was so excited to see a real bookstore! They have a small selection but are more than willing to order something particular! They have a small selection of boardgames. Very friendly staff and a clean area. I look forward to going back.

Love love love! So very helpful and just so sweet of a lady! Was willing to stay open late because I was driving from Portland and She even wrapped the books! (They were a gift for my mother) 5 stars all the way!

An absolutely wonderful bookstore! I have been in here a few times, and always felt welcome, and found something new and interesting. I'm excited this place is here, and I can honestly say that the owner is a great person. She is also able to order books you want, and takes recommendations on books, authors, and topics.

A surprising wide variety of books for a smaller store. Where the store really shines is in its customer service, which is STELLAR. I once briefly mentioned to the owners that there was an author I was into that they didn’t have. I came in another time and the newest novel was there. Check it out if you haven’t been.

Very helpful and nice staff. I went in to buy a book, but didn't find what I was hoping to find. I mentioned the book during checkout of something else I bought, and they told me they could order it, and it would be there in just 2 days. Very happy to support a small business like this.

My boyfriend and I have been here several times over the past few months. There is a wide selection of books for this tiny bookstore and it is the cutest thing ever. The customer services is always top notch.

Great selection of books in multiple different genres. It’s been really nice to have something local! We take our son to lots of Saturday story-times as well.

This is a great little book store. There's something for everyone. Very helpful, friendly, up spirited, and clean.
