Bull and Barrel Steakhouse

First visit today and it did not disappoint! All the hype is 100% true. We had brunch today and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the epitome of southern hospitality! Our server, David was wonderful! He was very attentive and made our experience at Bull and Barrel amazing.
We had the Apple Pie Biscuits, The Blue Mile, Chicken and Waffles and the very best burger, we’ve ever had, The Barrel Burger.
David invited us to return and enjoy dinner sometime. We definitely will be back!

This was my first time having brunch at B&B. It was a great experience from the moment I walked in the door, waited to be seated and served by Brynn. She provided excellent service by making great recommendations, specifically the chicken and waffles, which were absolutely delicious! She was attentive and by anticipating my dining needs. My experience was top-notch because of her. I look forward to visiting again.

Food is always delicious! This is my favorite special occasion/date night restaurant but recently I will sit at the bar for a slight girl dinner of loaded cheese fries and a drink. The cajun ribeye with a side of the southwest creamed corn is my go to order but the crowned filet is delicious also. Atmosphere and service are great!

We have been to Bull & Barrel a few times & every single time it has not disappointed us!
The food, service & atmosphere are phenomenal.
I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu.
Make sure to try the Smoked Pork Belly as an appetizer.
Romano-Crusted Chicken was delicious. The sweet potato soufflé is so good that we get it as a dessert sometimes.

My husband works out of town, so when I come to visit we are always looking for different places to eat. Bull and Barrel did not disappoint. The wait staff all work together and our waiter, James, was the epitome of the a great waiter. The mushroom bruschetta, there are no words to describe the delicious taste. We both got the center cut fillet, perfect! It was so tender and cooked to perfection. We hope to come back before his job is finished here in Statesboro GA!

Had an amazing time dining here. The food, service and ambience were all A+. I had the Cajun Ribeye and Sweet Potato Souflee. Will definitely be back to try some more food options.

This was our first time here. I accidentally made a reservation at a different restaurant (Dailed the wrong number, thinking it was Bull and Barrell), not knowing the mistake i had made. The hostess never said anything. And seated us anyway. This other restaurant said they had a set menu. We got seated quickly(5 pm) . I think our watier was Jeremy. But I'm not sure, he was very nice , and gave us good suggestions. We asked about the set menu, and he said it wasn't this restaurant. We realized it was a different restaurant.(embrassed) But I was happy we got in anyway at a good time, and we wanted steak . So I was happy I made that mistake. We ordered our food and a bottle of wine. I had the Crown Filet with ceaser salad and sweet potato souffle. It was so good , perfect. My husband had Bone in Ribeye, ceaser salad, baked potato
Everything was so flavorful, even down to the croutons in the salad. One of the best steaks we've ever had.cooked to perfection. We were stuffed and took home a doggie bag. It's a little pricey, but that's ok it was worth it. For a special occasion as it was Valentines Day. We will be back, even when it's not a special occasion. ❤

Went for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. I can't say anything bad about this establishment. Upscale fine dining in rural south Georgia is impossible to find outside of Savannah. Highly recommend.

Ate here for my wife's birthday and we both got the smoked prime rib. Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff were as accommodating for my dairy allergy. Overall extremely positive experience.

Went for anniversary date tonight for the first time. Our appetizer was the smoked pork belly & it was great. The salmon was the best salmon I’ve ever had. It was crispy and cooked perfectly. The creamed corn was also delicious. My husband got the NY strip. He loved it as well. Will definitely return.

Their bar staff is amazing! Super nice, helpful, and entertaining, lol. It is pricey but you'll be satisfied! Great place for a date night, birthday dinner, etc. I ordered the Brussel sprouts, pasta dish with chicken, and one of their LT desserts (PBJ).

We stopped in Statesboro to visit close friends and they surprised us with dinner reservations (highly recommend reservations, especially on weekends) for Saturday night. They told us it was their favorite special occasion restaurant in the area and after our visit, I totally understand why! We started with the deviled egg flight and roasted brussel sprouts. Both appetizers were excellent. We also had drinks from the bar and heads up, they have a really good and fairly extensive whiskey menu made up of excellent bourbon and ryes. I had the prime rib for dinner. Our reservations were at 7:15p and they had already sold a lot of prime rib so I was limited to prime rib cooked to medium or higher doneness. I usually request medium rare but took a risk and went with medium (pictured) and was rewarded! It was excellent! My wife had the crab cake and we shared bread pudding for dessert. Both were equally good. Our friends had the creme brulee and from prior experience knew it was so good they each had to order their own dessert-no sharing between them! Service and ambience were also top shelf. Highly recommend this restaurant and so happy our friends made reservations in advance. Can't wait to be back in Statesboro for another visit!

WOW!! Everything was absolutely incredible! This was our first date night in Statesboro and we are so glad to have found Bull & Barrel! We started with the deviled egg flight which was delicious! My husband had the prime rib (melt in your mouth, to die for horseradish sauce) and I had the lamb (perfectly seasoned and so tender!). The cocktails were delicious and super reasonably priced. We cannot wait to come back again!

Update: we came back for brunch and were just as impressed as we were by the dinner! Delicious food and impeccable service.

My son was graduating from Georgia Southern University, and so I looked online for a nice restaurant to have a family celebration. I spoke with a manager (Heath) who took the information needed for a party of 11. When we arrived, we were greeted timely. We had Brussel Sprouts and "the flight" of deviled eggs for appetizers. (We enjoyed them, hence forgetting to photograph until they were almost finished them). Our meals ranged from chickens fingers to crab cakes. The cocktails (loved the Flatliner. I had two.) were delicious too. And don't forget to try the garlic bread. Our server was attentive, patient, and knowledgeable about the food and drink menus. Overall, it was a wonderful eating experience in the small town of Statesboro. I'd recommend it.

I went last night for my 21st birthday and it was absolutely AMAZING!! The atmosphere was wonderful. The server was so helpful and so kind and was so patient with me when trying to figure out what drink to order. I got the 16 oz prime rib for dinner and let me tell you, that was one of the best steaks, (if not the best) that I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend!!!

Delicious food and amazing service. We went for dinner and brunch. Both are amazing!

Very good service and food tonight. The first time when they opened we didn’t have good service this time the service was on point and the food was delicious. My wife ordered the eggnog mix drink very good and smooth. We had the mushroom bruschetta which was different but good. The Cajun ribeye is a must to have very delicious and flavorful. The side to definitely order is the cream spinach. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and delicious as well. Definitely will go back. Our waiter was Zach and he was on point with refills and had a great personality.

The best shrimp and grits we have ever had. Staff was very attentive. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. We were just driving through town and found this five star experience. The host was beyond incredible. It is also Beautifully appointed with incredible bathrooms, great ceilings, and amazing floors.

I heard for months the food was great here but there is not enough stars to rate this place! It's a little pricy but if you are looking for a quality juicy steak, then this is it!! Our server (Ms Gabriell) was the best! I highly recommend requesting her area if you and your family truly want a great experience! Definitely going back soon!

A wonderful dining experience for the family and I! I got the Cajun ribeye and I couldn’t believe how good it was. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the garlic bread was soooo delicious! Our waiter was very helpful and funny! Thank you for a great experience!
