Gio's Deli

Loved it! I ordered the antipasto salad and it was fresh and loaded with meats and cheeses. My husband had the Gio's signature open faced roast beef sandwich and he said it was great. We also ordered a cheese pizza. The pizza was excellent. One of the best pizza's I've had. Our server was attentive and friendly. I love the restaurant and deli. We will be returning.

This visit was my first time here. Just walking in the door, I could smell Italian goodness. I had an eggplant sub and it was delicious. The sauce is very flavorful and the eggplant itself was tender and super fresh. The cheese was stretchy and tasty, just the way I like it. I will be back this week to try something else. This place is a true gem.

Lunch only during the week, dinner weekends only. Great food and service. Not only a popular restaurant for lunch with lines for table seating, full Italian cuisine, but a deli with both raw ingredients to take home and prepare, but a full menu for take out. Take out is very popular also with a quick moving line. Gino and his staff are just what you would see in quality dining. Fast, friendly service, with really good food.

The more i eat there the more i know about how good the skill set Gio has. He gets it on the food side - fabulous Chef. From the small stuff, like sauce, bread, pizza, grandmas pizza and even the salads. He covers the details so very well. Entrees so good as well. A gem in Oxford. A gem of talent here. Wow. Take pride in what you know and deliver to your guests.

As a female eating alone, I always feel comfortable and the staff is friendly and efficient. It does get crowded for lunch so I go a little later. Food is excellent. They have a great selection of Italian baked goods and an Italian Market as well.

Went with 16 people, good service and we all enjoyed our meals. I had stuffed meatball, very good and another near me had eggplant and said it was great. She had ordered extra olive oil and garlic on it.

We had our feast of the 7 fishes prepared by Gio. It was delicious. It is a traditional Christmas Eve dinner.when we were children all the grandmas,aunts and uncles would spend all day fixing different fish.There was always love and laughter . Keeping little traditions are a little salute to all the special people that came before. The platter of fishes came over a bed of linguine ,hot and ready to be served. I was able to enjoy my guests and not be tethered to the kitchen. It was delicious. Prepared with love from Gio's. Well done. Happy Holidays.

We went to purchase their fresh made Buffalo mozzarella (which is awesome) and stayed for lunch. I had a delicious fried grouper sandwich and my husband had a baseball sized meatball with angelhair pasta and fresh marinara, which he said was so good.

First time visiting this establishment. So much more than a deli; outstanding pizza, great selection of Italian dishes, wonderful deserts. Everything also available for take out. Many sausages, cheeses, pasta, etc. in the deli. Such a clean, open, relaxed atmosphere, with a staff that makes you feel part of a large family. Great live music added to an already perfect visit. Looking forward to our next visit. Do not pass by this place without stopping in. Perhaps our favorite place in the area.

People are great service great food was outstanding. Best pizza yiur gonna get. I bought 2lbs of the sausage to take home all I can say is we're going back.

Pizza was good. Spicy sausage and meatball spaghetti (added sausage) was amazing! They were crazy busy (noon on a Saturday) but the waitresses were still very attentive and really nice. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing food, fast, efficient, friendly staff and charming atmosphere. Large portions and extremely reasonable pricing. Overall, INCREDIBLE dinner experience! And the cannoli and other desserts are fantastic as well. Our new favorite place!

I am from N.Y & N.J. and this is one of the VERY few restaurants here that tastes like home. The last time I was there they even had Manhattan Special expresso soda. Haven't seen that for years. The deli is great.

Went on a Friday, arrived 4:45 PM, should have gotten there sooner, had a 50 minute wait, but well worth it. Small dinning area, but food arrived quickly and hot.

Awesome incredible home made Italian food. Like being in Italy. The staff is outstanding and Gio is such a great entrepreneur. Never will you be disappointed and there is NO BAKERY that could match the desserts he provides. I have been to Italy and well traveled in the U.S. and this definitely isa top ten restaurant.

Have driven past this many times and decided to stop and try lunch. Wow what a good find.
The ambiance literally makes you feel like you are in a market deli in Italy. The refrigerated cases are filled with Italian cheeses and meats. The Italian desserts look so good you are ready to toss the carb counting out the window! I ordered cheese ravioli and hubby ordered a cold cut roast beef sub. The bread and rolls were fresh and tasted homemade. My ravioli was so good. Hubby said his sub was the best he has had since moving to Florida. We had to order a pizza to try at home because again we haven’t had much luck with pizza here. It was very good. Just love Gio’s sauce. You can also buy specialty items imported from Italy. We will be back to try dinner. This is a small place but worth the stop!

Great Italian deli, I have ate there several times and have taken many folks there and we have never had a bad meal, great service and also has a delicious bakery with homemade baked goods you can also choose from while your in the checkout line.

Hands down the best pizza around The Villages, Florida. Also great service and while you’re there pick up some goodies to take home.

The best Italian since childhood. Food made with family love. My first and last place to eat when here. ❤
