Great atmosphere inside and out. Inside feels a little more bar than restaurant but there are nice tables like a restaurant on one half. The outside is an excellent family environment with a playground for the kids fully enclosed by a fence. Liz was an amazing and fun personality waitress that made the experience top notch.

This place was full of pleasant surprises! They use quality ingredients, and serve with a southern hospitality that is sadly not as common these days. I had a buffalo blue cheese burger with sweet potatoes waffle fries and a blue berry cosmo. Everything was downright delightful!

Off the beaten trail, but very accessible to locals. They have an outstanding beer and whiskey selection with specials to match.

Stopped by and had a delicious chicken fried steak with mashed taters. Also ordered the brussel sprouts that were really good!

The drink menu has something for everybody!

Stopped in this past Sunday (Jan 21, 2024) for brunch on the way back from hiking at Doeskin Ranch. We arrived just after noon. They were doing a business, but had open tables and we were seated right away. Service was slow, but not due to the servers. I believe the kitchen was backed up. When we did get our food, wow, it was so good 😋. Hard to balance if it was worth the wait, but we weren't disappointed. I'd still go back.

This was our second time here (with kids) and the food is SO GOOD! The pineapple mimosa is awesome. We have gotten the chicken and waffles both times and I will order it every single time. The waffle is crispy on the outside and soft inside. Chicken is moist and so flavorful! My 4 year old loves the kids menu and playground. The staff has always been so friendly and fun. I’m honestly surprised they don’t have a line out the door. Everything tastes homemade and has beautiful presentation.

We had the best meal tonight!! Chicken cordon bleu sandwich was huge and delicious! The pork chops and green beans were just as good! The cold beer on tap and the excellent service was just what I was looking for on a Friday night!

Wonderful food and amazing atmosphere! Super kid friendly with an outdoor play scape and beer garden. Order the Brussels sprouts, you will thank me!!! The owners are an amazing family who you will find working there most days!!! It can get pretty packed which is awesome for just opening! Order one of the great signature cocktails and take it outside if there is a wait!

A convenient place in Liberty Hill, with nice staff and delicious food. I ate breakfast there and it could not have been more delicious - both food and coffee. I had the Spinach and mushroom omelette with their version of hash browns. Beyond yummy! Will definitely return to try more.

Great place. We stopped in for a bite while passing through. We had the Loaded Fries, and each got a Spicy Burger. The food is well cooked, flavorful, and offers big portion sizes. We decided not to drink, but they do have a bar. Seating is available both indoors & out. It's a quaint little place that borders on upper middle class dining. The server seemed experienced, well informed of the menu options, and was polite. If we lived in the area, we'd definitely make this a frequent stop. My only thoughts on flaws would be that the indoor tables could use a fresh lacquer.

Service was amazing. We had a large table of seven and everything came out hot and in a timely manner for such a large group. I never ran out of something to drink. The atmosphere was chill, yet up beat.

This place is cute! Their fountain cola is offbrand so ask for the mexican coke. Their burger is great and the French fries were an excellent upgrade from the potato ruffles. I'd like to see a local baker bring in their pies. Not crazy about their current selection.

Me and my wife passed by and seen the new restaurant said we had to try for breakfast.
Got up and came in about 9:00am the staff was very friendly and fast. Order our food and was out in less then 10 min
We love our breakfast and this will definitely be our new breakfast spot in the morning. Come try it out you won’t regret it awesome place.

I had the bacon ranch chicken burger and my husband had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were VERY good. I also had the Cadillac Margarita. It was too good to not have a 2nd one! Our waiter was Aiden; he was the sweetest kid and was very attentive to our table. You should DEFINITELY stop by for a bite to eat, a bit to drink and top it off with a round of music bingo.

Liz was amazing. We ate outside in the cold bc my kids wanted to play. But still enjoyed our time spent there.

I'd go just to visit Liz. We could literally be friends.

The food was incredibly seasoned, plated beautifully, and our service was outstanding.

I got the lemon butter chicken special. I hope they add it to the menu permanently.

My experience here was lovely! Thank you so much to your wonderful waitress Liz! She was so nice and really cared about our days and our experience at the tavern! And she was gorgeous and very she definitely deserves a bonus for the wonderful experience! And as a Christian woman the vibe of the tavern is so warm and welcoming, reminds me of a cozy cabin in the woods😂10/10 would recommend also the food was delicious! Classic Texas food that warms my little old heart♥
