The Cafe on Gateway

For a great local restaurant with the friendliest staff I've ever seen, go here! Worth the quick detour after getting off the Harriman exit. Drive the few extra minutes past the chain restaurants to eat here, as everything we ordered was fantastic! We ordered the Reuben, potato soup, and pulled pork sandwich with fries, and it all came out fresh and perfectly cooked :)

Wonderful little spot for brunch. Modern looking diner with quick and easy food options. The mimosas are absolutely delicious. And the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Can not wait to go back!

1st time visit. Very clean and comfortable. Very good coffee. They bake every day,muffins,cinnamon rolls and more. My husband had eggs Benedict. I had french toast. Both were excellent. Will be our go to place for breakfast in roane county.

My husband and I had a delightful breakfast atThe Cafe. There is an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. My avocado toast and poached eggs were perfectly done and delicious. My husband said that his corned beef hash and poached eggs were great.
The waitress and the chef were warm and welcoming, and the restaurant was spotless.
If you are anywhere near Rockwood, Tn., don't miss this jewel of a restaurant.

We just had breakfast here. Nice place. Clean, friendly. Excellent food. Decent prices. Breakfast is served all day, which we like. If you haven't been here yet, make sure to stop. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

Very good breakfast! Love the menu, awesome corned beef hash, quiche and salmon with eggs. That's what we have tried to date. Fresh scone was delicious too.

This new local café “ The café on gateway “ located in Rockwood, Tennessee is amazing! I got a blueberry strawberry parfait and wow!🤩✨ oh how the flavors were perfect just bursting through! Also the cafe has a short wait for great food!
