El Salto Mexican Restaurant

We stopped here for a late Sunday lunch. First thing we noticed was how great the salsa tasted and second was how clean the restaurant was kept. We ordered and food came out quickly. The portions were great and the flavor was spot on. The right amount of salt and spice (not heat) delivered a delicious experience. We would highly recommend. Give them a try.

08/20: Update - visited again with family and friends. Great food, service and ambience like before. Still waiting on the bar to open 🙂

Great food and ambiance! We visited while it newly opened and they did not have any beers or alcoholic drinks (yet), so that was a bummer. But no complaints. Good service as well.

Update- They have liquor!!! Really good margaritas!

This place is so good! Great food and great service! The quesbirras were amazing and they give you a ton of meat ( they are heavy we usually get them as an appetizer). My husband likes the steak street tacos and I like the fajitas. Everything was affordable and the place was very clean. 1st pic was skinny marg. And last pic is Cadillac top shelf marg which I highly recommend!

My family ordered the quesabirria tacos, tacos al pastor, and a quesadilla pita. Everything was delicious. Skinny margarita was fantastic too.

New place in Chesterfield. Quick and friendly service. I had their Birria tacos and they were tasty. Just the right amount of meat and cheese. Husband and son enjoyed their meals too.

We dined at El Salto this evening while visiting Chesterfield. The food & service were exceptional.

Great Mexican restaurant, happy to have another with such authentic food to the area! We have already gone twice this week because the food was so delicious! Very quick service! Definitely would recommend giving this place a try!

The food was so yummy, best Mexican we’ve found in STL. Beans are rice were bomb. I had the enchiladas suizas and they were so yummy. Definitely going back, and soon!

Great spot for lunch with my bestie. Food was great! Loved the wings, and the steak fajita nachos were plentiful to share. Prices right for a lunch menu.
The only complaint was the music being a bit too loud. But we'll be back.

Such a welcoming place with DELICIOUS food!! My husband and I went twice over the span of the weekend because of how good the food was! Their Horchata and Jamaica drink is delicious! The Quesabirrias are just AMAZING!

Great service once again. Great to see how many people have been coming in since opening. Very excited for this business. Would love to see a beer menu eventually.

Excellent food and service. All aspects of dishes were fresh. Vegetables were so fresh it seemed like they had just bought them from the local farmers market. Will definitely be back!

Just finished dinner here with my husband and son and it was delicious! We got guacamole, birria tacos (have never had these before and wow!), carnitas, and a quesadilla. Everything was fantastic and our server was great and prices were comparable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I have only had carry out but the food is really good. Once they get their liquor license I will definitely go more often.

My husband had the best nachos he has ever had. And my tilapia/shrimp dish was delicious! I could eat here every day!

Food was very good - chips/salsa and entrees. Waitress was very friendly but service was slow. Think she was the only server so that didn’t help the service speed
