Lakes Country Club

Played out here yesterday afternoon around 2:30. Only played here once last year in October. Had to come back for the consistent greens. Read a lot of bad comments on how terrible the conditions are on this course. I disagree, for the price point and the work they are doing currently (which I saw) is definitely worth it. 5 holes right now are cart path only, which are on some of the rough fairways. But if you're like me, I rarely hit the fairway. Also got to play with the owner Roger. Very down to earth guy even gave me a few pointers since I can hit the ball straight. Probably will make this my home course honestly, all around a great time out there yesterday.

Played 18 here on a Monday morning as a 2some. All in all, a decent course for the price. Unpretentious staff and a quiet vibe good for beginners.

Greens were slow after being aerated 2.5 weeks ago, but that is completely understandable. They are coming in nicely and will be good to putt on in a week or two after a couple of shorter cuts.

Layout is relatively wide open off the tee even with most of the holes being a dogleg. You just have to take the right club off the tee depending on how much dogleg you are cutting off.

Despite the initial confusion with a large group ahead playing off #10, we played at a decent pace (3.5 hrs) after pairing up with a single. The price compared to other courses around was a plus. We'll be back.

Staff is great and very helpful. Rates are best arround, with new clubhouse and irrigation going in makes it a hidden gem.

Listen, for the price, this is the greatest course I have ever played. If you have an issue, go to another course… also be sure to give the puppy lots of pets, good boy!

My few experiences here were great. Friendly staff, and for the price, a great round of golf. Played a couple times in January (2017) and the greens were in pretty good shape, and the fairways were actually green. Best "cheap" golf around. I will be back.

I really enjoy this course. My brother-in-law and I have enjoyed playing here over the last week. The staff are all extremely pleasant and laid back. I will be spending a lot of time here from now on.

Great Golf for a great price. The course is a tough challenge for golfers of all levels.

Good course for the price and when comparing to other courses around it. It is not the nicest course but if you do not want to spend as much money and still play a good course, this is one to try. I have played here a few times and enjoyed it each time.

I hit my first hole in one on the second hole you would have thought I won the masters!! Very nice people and very fun course. Excellent price for a round.

I don’t yet golf, however, I moved to the course this month from California and I must say besides being beautiful and well kept, the folks here, employees and players alike, are sincerely kind and a joy to be around. I love it here!

This is a great course my friends and I play here as often as we can we enjoy ourselves and the owner and staff are very friendly. I would rather play the Lakes than any course around and will highly recommend them.

Great golf course run by even better people. They are always accommodating and professional. The course is tough but fair. You can’t beat the price.
