Humble House Cafe

Humble House cafe is a cozy little spot known for its delicious coffee and tasty food. The atmosphere is really inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying some quiet time. The staff is super friendly too! (Shout out to Barbra❤). And one cool thing they do is leave little "pay it forward" notes on the bulletin board, spreading positivity and kindness and buy a coffee for someone else. You should definitely check it out if you're in the mood for a warm and welcoming cafe experience.

Really nice to have a new coffee shop like this in downtown Golden. Both the Americano and latte I ordered were great, Rosie the Riveter bagel sandwich was also great. Really nice atmosphere with relaxing music and nice decor, there is also an outdoor section in the back. The seating is also actually comfortable, which is something 99% of Denver coffee shops don't have. Wifi was reliable (~60 Mbps) and there were plenty of outlets along the wall. Service was friendly and fast.

Nice little downtown Golden cafe. The food and coffee is good, the service and ambiance is terrific. Very friendly and inviting, perfect place to spend some time with friends or to get some computer work done.

LOVE THIS PLACE! We were in Golden for a very brief time but wanted to visit a coffee shop, I love chai and this was a legit chai 😋😋 Husband loved his coffee and we loved our cookie! Beautiful atmosphere, kind people, and everything was yummy! They are a nonprofit too, so be sure to support!!

I met up with someone and we reserved Odette the trailer for two hours for a study session. The trailer was roomy, the cushions were comfortable, and the table was the perfect size for both of us to spread out and study. The wifi was strong. A worker had turned on the heater a couple hours before we got there so it was a comfortable temperature inside despite it being very cold outside. There is a working turntable with vinyls and an ample amount of cushions and blankets available. I got the honduran latte and a smoothie and both were delicious. We will both definitely be back for more study sessions as the coffee/smoothies were delicious and the trailer reservation was completely free.

Super cute place with a lovely atmosphere. There is an option to leave money to pay it forward for individuals who can't afford their meal. The food is delicious, and the matcha is super yummy!

I loved my morning coffee so much that I came back for lunch! There was a mixup and my food buzzer didn’t work so my food sat for a while. But the staff was so kind and offered to make it right for me. I didn’t have them remake it because that’s wasteful but she popped it back in the oven and it was SO good! (I got the Sojourner 😋)

If I ever come back to this area I’ll be back! Also there’s a cute selection of artisan gifts and I snagged some earrings.

I was visiting Golden last weekend and stopped into Humble House for breakfast and a latte. I had the Madame Curie and the stuffed waffle with bananas and cream cheese (can’t remember what that was called) and a pistachio latte. I loved it so much, I went back for the exact same thing the following day! The coffee and food were amazing and the people/vibe are so special and unique. A true gem in Golden.

Such a cozy and lovely place to sit for a meal or stay a little longer and get work done. Humble House has been a welcome and popular addition to the Golden dining scene. They make all the coffee and tea drinks you could want, and the food has been stellar. We’ve had several different breakfast sandwiches and each time we say this one is our favorite so you really can’t go wrong. There’s also a good selection of goods to buy as well, soaps, candles, pots, that sort of thing.

This coffee shop has a nice cozy feel on the inside and is very inviting though if you hate sitting right by other people, the tables are very close due to the small space. The food is absolutely amazing. In fact, I think it's the best coffee shop food I have ever had and I have been to a lot of coffee shops. Coffee is good too of course, but I am not a huge coffee connoisseur. It is small so it gets a bit crowded. I would certainly give this coffee shop a go!

This was a delightful find inside The Tributary!!!! As a coffee enthusiast, I seek to find good coffee and great conversations. Generous Coffee & Cafe provided both!!!!

Nora was the first barista I spoke with, and gave her a quick run-down of what I typically like. She pondered, then consulted some colleagues and we all landed on the Honduran Latte.... THE WHAT!?!?!?! Exactly.... Caleb made an incredible drink and I'm not even going to tell you what it tasted like, because I wouldn't do it justice, you're just going to have to try it yourself!!!! So, +1 for the coffee aspect.....

It was relatively busy when I ordered, but as people dispersed after receiving their cup of deliciousness, we were able to re-engage conversation. I had the pleasure of speaking with Courtney, and she gave me a great history of GCC and what they stand for. EVEN MORE IMPRESSED!!!! Conversations continued between Courtney, Nora, Caleb, and myself. Needless to say, it carried on for sometime, which goes to show the coffee IQ on display! +1 for conversation...

Seriously folks, take the time and visit Generous Coffee next time your close. (or take a 2.5hr flight and 45min drive like I) You will be so happy you did, the generosity is something you can then take and distribute throughout the rest of your day!

I had the Honduran latte and classic breakfast Sammie and they were both fantastic! I really enjoyed the atmosphere inside, but there are picnic tables outback if you prefer outdoor dining. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

I look forward to trying some of the seasonal menu items and doing some gift shopping next time I’m there.

This is my new favorite coffee shop in Golden! The drinks and pastries are delicious. It’s a calm & welcoming atmosphere with cute decor & furniture.

HEYYO PEOPLE, this is seriously a must-visit stop if you’re in the Denver/Golden area! They have one of the greatest missions and best coffee - we drove all the way from Michigan just for this stop. The Honduran and Haitian lattes are BOMB, my tastebuds have never been more delighted, W O W !!! Shoutout to Maddie and Mel for just being the coolest people who help run this company. You will not be disappointed by a single thing here, I promise.

Wow. We've been to several coffee shops in Golden, and all of them were pretty good.. but this place blew them all out of the water on the actual espresso drinks!! I got the Honduran, which is a latte with a little cinnamon in the espresso.. and WOW. Just the perfect amount of flavor, and the coffee flavor is still right there. It kind of reminds me of Golden Grams Cereal.. plus espresso! My husband got a white chocolate mocha, which I tried since my drink was so good, and I also loved that! Usually those are hit or miss for me and I'm not a big fan, but dang.. I'd drink these any day! They also have a "kids menu" of fun drinks without espresso... I LOVE this. I've never seen this idea before, but it is genius. My kiddo would love getting himself a drink there and feel so special that he gets something too. Very nice touch to the menu! The atmosphere of the place, well, it is in a food hall. So several other businesses in the same space. It feels a bit crowded, even without many people there - I kind of wish the 2 restaurants in the center weren't there so the space was just open and felt bigger instead of a big circle to walk around, but it's a renovated building so they've worked with what they could. They have a long counter, full bar you can belly up to, and like 5 other places to grab food.

Precious place that we stumbled upon on our stay in Golden! The best part was the service. I wish I could remember the girl who took our order, she was so kind and welcoming and gave us great recommendations. The environment was perfect to get some work done in. I got the Honduran latte and it was unlike any other coffee I had had. Love their mission and we will be back next time we are in Golden!
