Gymkhana Cuisine Of India

My wife and I were up on a hiking trip from NYC and staying at a hotel in the same little office park as the restaurant. It was a wonderful surprise to read some foodie reviews and find this place so close by. There are some reviewers here who were far too harsh and appear to be fellow citizens of the Indian subcontinent. Now, I'm no connoisseur of Indian cuisine and have yet to visit India, but I have eaten a lot of Indian food from many restaurants in NYC, and none were better than Gymkhana. If I lived up here with so few choices in cuisine (as compared to NYC) I would count myself very lucky, indeed, to have Gymkhana in the neighborhood. The rack of lamb was the most outstanding thing we had and the---I'm forgetting the name of the bread---the inflated bread---was very tasty. Everything was good, and we had a lot of leftovers.

The food was Sooo good😋 im excited to go back today 💯🙏 Garlic Naan, Pourri, and Chicken Tika Marsel😋🔥🔥

My first real experience with Indian cuisine and I am sold!! My take away from my visit is one word-Delicious!!!

Portions are large and everything is fresh and tasty.

Think they are still getting their bearings with service- drink service a little slow-but MAJORLY friendly and food arrived perfectly timed!

Definitely get yourself to this place. It’s wonderful!

Aaaand I heard they have an amazing lunch buffet for under $20!!

this review is based just regarding takeout. We have yet to eat there and are looking forward to going soon. My girlfriend likes to order order. Actually she habitually over orders so we have leftovers for a good week. She ordered about 4 to 5 entrées so we got an excellent sampling on the menu. I am a veteran of Indian food. I’ve been to India. I’ve been to the East Village in Manhattan. I know my Indian food. This is the best I’ve ever had. I’m going to spare you a lengthy review. Trust me - go and order anything. The coconut nan bread makes a great dessert.

Our family recently held a repass gathering at Gymkhana following the loss of our father, and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. The restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating and understanding of our situation, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that our guests were comfortable. As a vegan I always have to settle but not here. I had a lot to choose from and one was better than the other. The offerings are described so no wondering on the buffet. The Samosa's are the best I ever had. Not greasy and won't stay with you all day! I can't wait for my next trip

I've never really had an urge or to try Indian cuisine until now, this is a great restaurant. The food is very good (I recommend the chicken Madras) and the customer service combined with the resturants ambiance really put you at ease. You'll won't feel out of place ordering from here.

We stopped at this place on our way back to Boston. We got chicken and lamb biryani, chili chicken and peanut lamb curry. Everything tasted so good and really authentic but the food was little oily. Loved the quantity and portion of meat in the curry though it was less in the biryani. The customer service was amazing and the order was ready on time. Came with pappadam and some sauce too. The restaurant atmosphere was great and clean, wish I could have dined in. Overall a great place to try 👍👍👍👍

This has been such a wonderful experience!!! We had a group of 48 individuals after leaving our JW facilities in Patterson, NY who were looking for food. Delightfully, I was part of a few brave souls to try out Gymkhana….. They DID NOT let me down!!!!!! I’m vegan and it’s really tough for me to find restaurants that have a selection for me. This Indian cuisine had more than enough for me as well as my not so vegan friends lol. I wish I could drive everyday back here to enjoy such flavorful food. A true Indian masterpiece in one of the most unlikeliest of areas. I can truly say, none of us expected this. I never leave reviews for restaurants but felt the need to!!! THANK YOU for your love through food!!! Staff was very pleasant as well….. Hope this post helps, especially if our dear brothers are looking for a good place to enjoy.

Great vibes and amazinggg food! The staff were really nice and were good at making recommendations. Spicy really means SPICY! I think even the mild was quite spicy but the delicious desserts afterward helped to cool the mouth down. The samosa chaat with delish and crunchy and spicy! The goat vindaloo could have been a bit more tender but the lamb madras was super tender and delicious! I’d love to try their rice dishes next time.

We were up at the local Fishkill, New York, Walmart and we came across this new buffet, which also is a sit-down restaurant. We absolutely thought it was beautiful, the customer service was great, the food was definitely better than expected. For a buffet it was extremely high-end quality. I would say it equates to Pakistanian Indian cuisine. plenty of parking. Seating is well spaced; handicap friendly. There is full bar, both soft drinks and hot beverages. If you haven't been here, you definitely should visit. 07/09/23

Simply a fantastic restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don't write reviews very often but I feel like The Case really deserves one. We visited for an evening meal on a Wednesday evening (21/12/22). Food, service and atmosphere absolutely top notch - The best I've had in the New York for a long time.

Staff were very accommodating (due to the fact that we were tight on time they made sure everything was ready in a timely mannr but without feeling rushed), lighting and general ambience just perfect and it has the vibe of a truly independent indian restaurant which is rare to find these days.

Highly recommended and I will be visiting again in the not too distant future!

This place was hands down the best Indian food I've ever had in my life. Clean, beautiful ambience, excellent service. Tandoori Chicken wings, Salmon In curry, rosemary garlic Naan. I should have taken pictures of the food. The presentation was exquisite.

We over ordered and got lots of Tandoori Chicken, Salmon in a curry coconut sauce, chicken in a ginger coconut sauce, Tandoori wings and garlic naan. We had tons of leftovers probably enough for lunch and dinner tomorrow. We had to try the desserts to and got the kulfi and a carrot pudding with vanilla ice cream. Every single dish was absolutely delicious, very fresh and high quality ingredients.
If you aren’t too much of a spice person there are many dishes that are mild. We ordered from the menu but there is a buffet every day during their lunch hours.
Awesome service, and reasonable prices combined with huge portions of delicious food equals 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I think this Indian restaurant is fabulous!! The staff are so warm and friendly. The buffet on Sundays are the very best. Each week, they change their buffet but all of their dishes are amazing.. When you taste the first taste, your mouth will explode in flavors! I always eat 2 full plates there plus fresh fruit afterward. Today, I had Ragan Josh, which is the best and most tender lamb dish in their gravy I ever had. I also had vegetable Indian stew and a crepe with potatoes and peas inside. Their naan is so delicious when you dip it into the different sauces. I love it so much there. The best restaurant. It's very casual inside. So relax and for $21..95 help yourself on a taste journey ride to India!!!!

The buffet is fantastic! I cannot stop telling friends about our time here. They have gluten free breads on their menu as well, I’m very interested to try. Take out is just as great.

Fancy esthetics, clean restaurant, fresh food and pleasant staff. You can tell the place is well taken care of. My husband and I eat here often and the lunch buffet options are always great. It's located within the shopping center, therefore, free parking is always available. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious and generous portions! They also have great service. Highly recommend the Butter Chicken and the Tikka Masala. Guaranteed hit.

Excellent restaurant. Amazing food, fair pricing, great staff. The best Indian restaurant in the area, by far. Would not change a thing. The standard classic chicken tikka masala is fantastic, as is the rosemary garlic naan.

Delicious Indian food! Everything our table got was a hit. I especially loved the Kori Salan- mild, creamy, and the chicken was so tender. Highly recommend!!!
