Elm Street Cafe & Grill

This little place is a great lunch spot. Their steak sub is one of my favorites in town. Their fries have a seasoning on them that I love and are always fresh. They are always friendly, even when swamped. Food comes out quickly and I've never had them get something wrong. Try the crab cake sandwich too!

Best Gyros and steak subs around. A little pricey for a lunch cafe but the food is top notch. Been eating here for 12 years plus and never been disappointed. Everything I've tried has been good and portion size is good as well. Usually reasonable quick service and they do a lot of takeout/delivery.

This place is so good, excellent food and priced well. Would definitely recommend. If you are ever in High Point this is where you want to be.

Is this place super nice? No. Is the food out of this world? No. HOWEVER, it is trusty and always good. I have been several times and I'm never disappointed. I don't like their fries, but I don't like crinkle fries at all.

Me and a friend ate from here for lunch. I loved my steak fajita and my friend noted the bacon cheeseburger was quite savory. We enjoyed and had fairly quick service for our call-in order. Will definitely eat here again.

This was the fist place I ate at in high point, and it felt like a warm welcome to town. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Fries, as suggested by the young lady serving. seasoned and delicious,, tasted fresh and came out steaming hot. Hats off to the chef and his assistant.

Really great quality! Good portions! Fresh!!! Lettuce wasn't from a week ago but fresh! Tomatoes were perfect. I may have had the perfect sub from here! Really recommend

The most perfect mom and pop cafe. Great people, great food and you can tell people eat there regularly. I want to try everything on the menu!

This place has amazing items that can satisfy any hunger. If all you want is a salad they make a wonderful grilled chicken salad. If you want a Gyro pita with french fries, you will love the delicious way they make it. Their wraps are stunning, and they draw a large lunch time crowd so go early to get a seat. If you want to take it back to your office, they will set you up with carry out plates and plastic ware. They will deliver to your work site, but you need to have at least three orders to start. These folks make some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. You will be pleased with the quality of the food so please give them a try. You will make them a routine meal spot if you go once.

I have lived here in Highpoint or Archdale since 1988 and I worked all around that little dinner., and never knew it was there until yesterday. So today I stopped by and ate. I had the Philly cheese steak and fries and it's the best Philly cheese steak that I have ever eaten. I would recommend it , good service, nice people own it . I was on crutches and started to get up for a refill and the owner came over and filled it for me. I give them an A+

Surprised this wasn't already listed here b/c it's so good! It's been reviewed by Yelp. They have subs, wraps,soup, burgers, pitas, wings, huge salads and more. The daily special basically adds a free drink, but worth it. My fave is the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and have only had a couple other things. It's a tiny place so gets crowded at lunch time, but you can call in your order, as a lot of people do. It's about three blocks from High Point Hospital and two blocks off Main St. Recommended!

Elm Street is one of my favorite lunch spots in town. They are quick, have a diverse menu, and a friendly staff. The Buffalo chicken wrap is my go to!

Don't get to High Point often, but glad I stumbled into this little gem. Got a toasted Italian and it was delicious. Not sure what the secret is, but the bread is amazing. Crunchy outside and melt in your mouth soft on the inside.

Great Place for Eating a Quality Meal Served by Quality People

Perfect place for lunch. ALWAYS DELICIOUS! We have been loyal customers for past 5 years bc we value the price, the customer service, and the fact our order is hot and correct. Each person in my fam have their personal favorites... but in my opinion, the gyros are very good (either as wrap or traditional), and the spinach pie is the best...of course, we have only tried at least 15 other Greek restaurants(!) and none hold a candle to Elm St Cafe.
