Olympic Family Restaurant- COLFAX

A great hidden treasure nestled just outside of the city limits of Greensboro. This spacious restaurant combines a family friendly atmosphere with economical prices. The food arrived hot and fresh and was plentiful. My order was the catfish platter for approximately $15. This is a great restaurant to patronize and they have specials every day. Parking is adequate unless you visit during a busy time.

Food was amazing (baked spaghetti and baklava for the win), and the staff was so attentive and polite. Jimmy is absolutely lovely and amazing and took extra special care of our group. Will have to visit again before I move ❤

First time here today for lunch. I had the steak strips. Along with those I had mashed potatoes with gravy and pinto beans as well as macaroni and cheese. Everything was really great!! I also got some baklava to go. I ate it later in the evening and it was AMAZING!! 😋

Service was great and the food the baked Spaghetti is a great choice

This place is exactly as advertised. It’s a busy at 6pm on a Friday night kind of place and doesn’t pretend it is not. My partner and I have eaten here several times and sampled breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Ironically when the place is really busy the food is the best.
This is one spot where if you see a full parking lot, go on in, there’s lots of room and the service is fast and very cordial.
The dining room is well lit and waitresses call you hon.

Good location. Nice quiet area. Attentive staff. Drinks and food served promptly and accurately. On top of all that, it was delicious. Everyone left more than satisfied. I'm highly critical and very picky but I give praise when and where it's due and this was EXCELLENT!

3 of us each had a full entree and a full dessert. Bill was under 40 bucks! Food was hot, filling and good. My grandson said the Mac and cheese and cornbread get 10 stars. Cheesecake was superb!! Jordan was our waitress. She had the whole floor, 4 tables when we arrived and 12 when we left. She never got frazzled, had a great sweet personality, she kept our drinks full, we never once had to call her over, she was on the ball with ALL of her tables. A+

I had Senior Flounder, hushpuppies, baked potato, coleslaw and unsweetened tea. A great meal. My companion had Thursday special - chicken pot pie, green beans, cornbread, coleslaw - another terrific meal. Both of us were completely satiated. It was yummy 😋. We'll be back soon.

Visited Olympic again today with a few colleagues and had another enjoyable experience. Tried the chicken pie, with mac&cheese, and pinto beans. Great home style food with family atmosphere. The brownie with ice cream desert was absolutely delicious.

The food was delicious and the service was superb. We had a party of 12 for an early thanksgiving and we all enjoyed our meals. Everyone was very nice. I'll be back for sure.

Reminded me of my childhood! A warm family atmosphere with friendly service and wide variety of meals to choose from. Something for everyone. Food was delicious!

The establishment was very clean. I never complain about my food but my chicken tenders were way cooked and fresh ones where made. I will be back again.

Great locally owned family restaurant with tons of menu options, daily specials, and good service. My favorites are the chopped steak, fried chicken, and cheesecake. Great breakfast too with omelette choices and perfect pancakes. My daughter works there too so say hi to Annabelle while there!

5 STAR restaurant. The food is fantastic, with excellent customer service. The place is clean and so are the restrooms. I have traveled extensively and have been to every top rated restaurant there is up and down the east coast. In Greensboro, there are only 2 restaurants that know how to cook over medium eggs, and they are the Olympic Family Restaurant and the Coliseum Cafe.

Good location, food was amazing...we will come back again!!!

I've been passing by this Olympic Restaurant for over a year but finally had a meal there tonight. The atmosphere is clean and bright. We received our meal very quickly after ordering but had not been rushed to finish. The service was excellent, courteous and friendly...but not too much so...very professional. The food, Chicken Parmesan, was very good. And the dessert of Coconut Cake was truly excellent. My dining companion got a slice of that and a German Chocolate Cheesecake to go. Will definitely be dining there again and soon. Oh, our diner of 2 Chicken Parmesan meals and a total of 4 slices of cake came to just over $40, yep!

The food is delicious. The servers, staff, and owner displayed wonderful customer service.
