Hibbett Sports

The store is great, the people there are very nice and helpful. The mall is a mess though. There were kids running around the store stealing and trying to scare the workers. It's all very sad. The people in Hibbett Sports are great though.

I went in for the first time ever and shortly after entering the store, Melvin, a store associate, inquired if I needed assistance immediately. Melvin showed that he’s personable and friendly as I asked him if he could help me pick out some shoes that me and my girl could match. He pointed some kicks out and I was able to find some really sought after shoes for my lady the bred toe aj ones. I really liked my choice of kicks as well. It was all possible because of Melvin. Thanks. I look forward to coming back and finding some new merch.

I ordered a pair of Jordans to be delivered because they were out of stock of my size. They never came after an unusual wait and I never saw a notification of status. I kept my receipt and was able to look up the status using my order number to find out that the item was never back in stock and unfulfillable. Refund was available by visiting store of original purchase. It was a little inconvenience living somewhat but not super close to that location. I came on a weekend to get refund but could not because purchase was past 60 days. Customer service was closed and staff couldn’t get refund the process on the system. I was upset but tried not to be pushy, giving benefit of the doubt for them trying to do their job the best way they knew how. I had to call customer service the following weekday, which was thankfully easy and was able to get a clearance for store refund. I called store to verify things would be fine as I didn’t want to waste gas money. Things worked out fine when I returned to get my refund. Staff was nice. My main issue was the inconvenience and system issues. I’m not sure if my unusual specific situation stumped people. But I’m glad my issue was resolved. I’ve had other good experiences and would continue business.
