I really missed getting hot dogs with jalapenos during the pandemic in 2020.

After a grueling one-hour trip around Sunnyvale and Santa Clara between 3:45AM and 4:45AM to find hot food and six restaurants in a row refusing to serve me a hot meal for various reasons all linked to computer and employee quality (two different McDonald’s, three different Jack in the Box, and another 7-Eleven), this location was the first one to have warm sustenance ready.

The fact that I got hot food to satisfy my most basic need was all that I cared about at that time.

The place is a little frumpy and the people who work there are not always very friendly, but I like their soft drink selection.

My 10 year old brother received a free small slurpee coupon from school for volunteering for safety patrol (which is run by the Santa Clara Police Department). He was so excited to use it and once he got to the register, the owner told us that it was a photocopy and refused to even scan it.
The drink is worth $1 at most and it’s a little kid you’re trying to lie to. Never coming back here again.

The cashier is super unfriendly. And his English is really bad. Communication is super poor.

The beers at this location are always flat and taste horrible, and the cashiers are always hiding after 10 pm.

Closed at 2:30a. They seem to close around 1a or 2a every night. UPDATE YOUR HOURS!

EDIT: Still happening in February 2024!

I live close by and for some reason the night shift guy always has the door locked everytime i have been there after 11pm he keeps the door locked for some reason and at times he doesnt open it he just stares? I would not recommend this location i never have this issue with the other 7 elevens in the area with locked doors

The gentleman that works the night shift and in-between the times I go, is horrible. I don't know how he got hired here, but it has gotten to the point where a lot of petty little transactions added up, he doesn't charge for the right items, I've overpayed too much for some big gulps, taquitos, and gummies. Ik this won't do to much but that's my experience don't go to this 7-11 too many times at night.
