Went here for the first time on a Valentine's date. It was amazing! The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. The server was friendly and the food was served quickly. The food was delicious and hot and the drinks were legit. My boyfriend ordered the Creamy Tuscan Salmon and I ordered the Grilled Chicken Margherita. The only bad thing was the parking but we did go on a Saturday night. Can't wait to go back!!

We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Cafe Stella and ordered 3 different pasta dishes, mushroom sausage, lemon ricotta, and chicken margherita, and my expectations were exceeded. We have been so excited to have more local Italian-style food, and this place will definitely satisfy your pasta cravings! I personally prefer slightly firmer pasta, but the sauces were tasty so I didn’t mind. This is a surprisingly large space, with a warm bustling atmosphere. Derek was our server and he was wonderful- we felt very welcome & taken care of. Certainly will be coming back for more!

We had an AMAZING time here for dinner for a friend’s birthday! Amazing service and food! Our server laughed and joked with us all night, our food was served promptly and was delicious, and last but not least they were able to take our reservation for 10 people last minute. This place is beautiful and the food is fantastic, and they need to be so busy they wouldn’t be able to do that! Thank you to all of the staff for making our night amazing!

The pasta here was phenomenal. Loved the outdoor patio area and the wine recommendations that come with the meals are on point. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Looking forward to coming back. I even made a new friend sitting outside. Great vibes.

WOW! We made dinner reservations at Cafe Stella for my bachelorette party, and oh my gosh it was freakin amazing! Totally surpassed our expectations and my besties and I absolutely loved it. Started out sharing a bruschetta board and garlic bread (yum!!), along with wine and delicious Italian margs (seriously as good as they look!). Then, the homemade pasta… made right in the window… holy cow.. SO GOOD!!! I had the Calabrian Chile & Burrata Pasta with Peas and mooched a couple bites off of my friend’s Lemon Ricotta Pasta & Arugula - both phenomenal. My best advice is RUN DON’T WALK! Our waiter, Joshua, was so pleasant and accommodating. I can imagine many people would not want to wait on a bachelorette table but he was so friendly, patient and all around awesome. Derek was hilarious and patient, as well, even taking the time to take pictures and videos of the group for us. Everyone that worked here was so nice and the ambience was perfect. This place is a 10/10 and I will not miss eating here when I visit Flagstaff next. THANK YOU, CAFE STELLA TEAM!

Food was excellent including the fresh made pasta and pork chop, chicken and caprese. Drinks were reasonable and also good. Service also very attentive. Atmosphere is good, not great. Will definitely be back any time we’re in Flagstaff as it’s the best Italian place we’ve found so far up here and we’ve tried a few.

Really good home made pasta and sauces at a reasonable price especially for portion size. Has classic Italian drinks which was a nice touch. The atmosphere is relaxed and not bougie which fits will for the Flagstaff community.

As a Flagstaff native I enjoy trying and supporting new restaurants, They did a beautiful job vamping this place up!
I went for brunch and was very impressed!
We tried the bruschetta breakfast toast, the egg toast and the strawberry Nutella croissant 🥐.
Such fresh and flavorful food.
Will definitely be back to try their dinner menu! They were making the pasta by hand while we were there.

Enjoyed walking in and being greeted right away for lunch on a Saturday. Great service, nice people. We had sandwiches and waffles on their brunch menu. Fantastic pairings of meats, veggies and spread, perfectly cooked. Completely delicious and reasonably priced.
Wish they could cook for us daily.

Oh man, what an awesome restaurant and right in the heart of downtown Flag! The handmade pasta was incredible, super tasty and the texture of a good handmade pasta is tough to beat. You know what I mean if you’ve had it fresh. I had the lemon ricotta and a Caesar salad, simple and delicious! You can tell that they put their focus on quality versus trying to overcomplicate the dishes. I think that makes a huge difference. The staff was not only very kind but also hilarious. One of the servers, the owner and I all had some good laughs joking around with each other and sharing stories. 100% would go back. I was at dinner alone but this would be an awesome date spot or place to have some laughs over really good food with some friends.

We started with the caprese salad, which was fresh with silky mozzarella.Then an absolutely delicious bowl of handmade pasta with a heavenly sauce! The wine selection was intriguing. We finished with cannoli to go as we were too full to indulge and too greedy to pass them up! A must stop if you are visiting Flagstaff!

We had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Stella. The pasta was perfect and the service was the best. Derek was great! Friendly and a great sense of humor. Will 100 percent be back on my next trip to Flagstaff. ♥ ♥

Everything in the restaurant is amazing! From the food to the servers and even to the cooks who we could hear listing to music and having a good time in the back you can tell they care about everyone who walks tru that door and are trying there hardest to provide a fun restaurant area in flagstaff they have definitely succeeded in my books the energy in this place is immaculate! And not to mention the total redo the building has it looks amazing total obsessed! I will definitely be back and I recommend this place to everyone family brunch and dinner, date nights and hanging out with friends I love it!

What a cute and unique find! We got the breakfast board and it was worth every penny. The pancakes are so good it’s unreal, the coffee is amazing and the service was beyond incredible. Would recommend.

Celebrated our anniversary at Cafe Stella. It was the perfect place! Wait staff was like family. Food was excellent, wine was priced to buy and delicious. Try the cannolis, too. You’ll be full, but do it anyway.

Walk in for brunch. Food was great! Staff friendly and attentive. Get the biscuits and gravy waffle, it won't disappoint. Picked up some of their home made dry pasta (arugula and beet) for home, can't wait to try. Would definitely come again.

We were absolutely delighted to find this restaurant just downstairs from the AirBnB we rented during our one week stay. Visited 3 times and enjoyed every meal as well as the tiramisu! Freshly made pasta, friendly staff, and a lovely ambiance. Definitely enjoyable and worth it!

For a new addition to downtown it’s absolutely amazing food. Never rush quality, and fresh from scratch food is always worth the wait. Thank you for an excellent anniversary dinner atmosphere and food. Will return!!!

First time ever at Cafe Stella and it was a STELLAR pasta outing. After a fun day of skiing at Snowbowl I decided to check them out for a quick bite. It’s a casually cute & unpretentious intimate restaurant in the heart downtown.

I ordered the eggplant pasta and it was five star PHENOMENAL. Wow, wow, wow! The marinara red sauce was absolutely amazing - I’m not exaggerating. I didn’t expect the sauce to be this flavorful and rich with a complexity that lingered after each bite. Wow. There was a slight sweetness with layers of eggplant & basil and every bite was a discovery. How could something as simple as tomato sauce be this complex?

The delicious homemade pasta was cooked perfectly al dente - a kind of Cavatelli(?) perhaps (I didn’t see the type listed on the menu).

I can’t wait to return to sample more dishes! It’s apparent that there are some passionate folks making the food here. The prices here are very reasonable for the quality (OK, I’m basing my review on the one *exceptional* dish I tried).

A final note that this is my new favorite Italian restaurant in Flagstaff. I no longer recommend the once outstanding Pizzicletta restaurant in Flagstaff. Our family used to go often for years - but the last few pricy meals there disappointed - and it now exudes an uppity arrogance which is unfortunate.

Cafe Stella is the opposite- unassuming and delicious Italian fare that will likely exceed expectations. Bravo.
