Cleary's Bookstore

Did the Greater Charlotte Book crawl and decided to end the crawl here. They did not disappoint! The book selection is amazing! Mostly new and popular books. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Eventhough they are not my "home" indie bookstore, I will be shopping here again.

What a charming bookstore. Great selection of books, for myself and my little readers too! Not only stocked with a diverse selection, their branding is darling and I love their totes for all my future purchases. The owner was extremely knowledgeable around all things literature, it was a treat getting to know her and purchasing some of her recommendations and best sellers. I will definitely be returning and supporting this local business!

My favorite bookstore! Been a reader all my life in the Mount Holly area -- so glad that Alison and Cleary's are here! Such a wonderful place for books, but also for building community.

My new favorite bookstore!! The book selection is amazing, any books they don’t have will quickly and easily be ordered. Selling used books is so easy, I love that I can sell my books and shop either new or used. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable, she recommended a sourdough cookbook that has quickly become my favorite. I’m looking forward to joining the book club soon.

Stumbled upon this bookshop online, & was so shocked it opened a mere 20ish minutes away! WHAT. A pleasant suprise! I'm a HUGE bookshop Nerd 🤓 love the atmosphere, the vibes, and this place, was SO cute! Upon seeing their THOROUGH social media page I took the trip to see Cleary's in person the next day! How CUTE! The owner greeted us right away, warmly. The outside has thee cutest yellow door, gives it so much character! 💛 the inside was very well decorated, extremely organized and very clean! On the wall 🧱 was labeled the best sellers which was helpful to take note of! & lastly upon checking out, the lovely owner gave us a bookmark punchcard to thank their patrons for their business! Definitely will be coming back! Thanks for putting dopamine in my day ❤ with your adorable bookshop 📚folks, do yourself the favor and come down.

Such a treat to visit this charming bookstore! The owner could not have been nicer. She was also quite knowledgeable. The children’s book nook is darling. Definitely plan to return!
